DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY DECEMBER 13, 2025

***CHRISTMAS FOR SINGLE MOTHERS***

After much prayer and despite still needing $130,000 to end this year with all of our financial needs current, I have taken a huge step of faith and am announcing that as we have done virtually every year since Liveprayer began over 26 years ago, we will be helping out single mothers this Christmas. We will be helping 30 single mothers with a gift of $200 so they can insure their children have something under the tree and a nice Christmas meal. As in past years, all I ask is that these single mothers we help go to church with their children on Christmas! I never ask people to do something I don't do myself, and am giving into my personal need by taking care of 10 of the 30. If God is leading you to help me take care of any of the other 20, just make sure you mark on your $200 credit card or check gift that it is for the Single Mothers Christmas.

What I need is for those who want to be considered, send me a short email with your name, address, and phone number. I need to know how many children you have and their ages. On the Thursday night Livpeprayer TV program, over the first 25 minutes I shared a warning about the future of our country if we don’t come back to God our Creator and His Truth! God gave the nation a reprieve from destruction in 2016 by allowing Donald Trump to become President instead of Hillary Clinton. After 8 years of Obama, 4 or 8 years of Clinton would have damaged the country beyond repair. We experienced how fast the country could be lost in just 4 years of the illegitimate Biden regime that was run by Obama and a cabal of globalists. Again, last November God once again gave the nation a reprieve in allowing Trump to once again become President.

I warned the Liveprayer audience that God’s people can’t become complacent. In reality Trump only has the first 2 years since historically the party in power loses the House and often the Senate in the mid-terms. I have laid out many times the reality of what will happen to this nation should the Democrats regain the House and/or the Senate in 2026. It will be disastrous for our country and in essence the end of the Trump Presidency despite having two more years. I went into detail on the Thursday program.

I want to give you an analogy I often share. 90% of Republicans in the House and Congress, as well as in city, county, and state office are gutless, spineless, and more worried about money than service. That is why they deeply hate Donald Trump and the America First policies since they focus on the people, those who elected them to serve, not be served. Democrats seek power, Republicans money. At the end of the day most Republicans rarely fight back against the evil plans of the Democrats/Globalists. Sadly, a large percentage of Christians are the same way. I am not saying they don’t love the Lord, I am saying very few know how or are willing to fight the devils schemes. They sit back and watch satan and his minions destroy lives, destroy the culture, destroy nations, often operating with little to no opposition.

Remember, the problems we face in this nation, in this world, are NOT political they are spiritual. Our answer is to lead our land back to Almighty God and His Truth. Never forget, God ultimately judges his own chosen people for their sin and rebellion and we should not be so arrogant too think He won’t judge the United States for our sin and rebellion. So please watch at least the first 25 minutes of the Thursday night Liveprayer TV program and share it with others. IT IS OUR MOMENT IN HUMAN HISTORY TO TAKE OUR STAND FOR THE LORD AND HIS TRUTH, MAY HISTORY RECORD WE WERE FAITHFUL!!!

The drive to be beautiful. It is amazing to me, how we live in a society where being beautiful is such an incredible asset. Women who have been blessed with natural beauty have incredible advantages in most areas of life. Because of the importance our society places on beauty, it has become an all-consuming drive for too many.

In recent years, this has now also become a very big issue for many men. The problem with chasing beauty, is the same problem people who crave money have. It is an unquenchable thirst that can never be satisfied. This has become a very real problem amongst teen girls. In the social media age the standard for a woman to look a certain way, looks that in many ways that are totally unrealistic, are causing young girls to commit suicide.

They are being bullied and body shamed, and it is literally driving them to kill themselves! Sadly, with many living in the busted, broken, and blended homes of today, the love and nurturing of a mother and father is missing when it is needed more than ever. Also, only a small percentage of those 18 and under go to church today. That is another place girls can learn that their true worth isn't in how they look, but in who God created them to be!

There will always be someone who is more beautiful, more perfect. This drive to be beautiful powers multibillion dollar a year industries like cosmetics, clothing, hair, and cosmetic surgery. There is an insatiable drive to be beautiful that many women chase throughout their entire lifetime. This is a problem not only for women who are without Christ, but also for women who know Jesus as their Savior. In many cases it is actually a sin since it takes priority over a person's relationship with Christ.

We have all heard many times that beauty is only skin deep, and true beauty is what is on the inside, not the outside. That sounds good, and is actually true. But in reality, it is not how we live. ***Let me say right here, that men are as much to blame for this problem as women are! Men have put incredible pressure on women to look a certain way, to be beautiful at all times. If men were as concerned about a woman's inner beauty as her outer beauty, I believe women would not be as fanatical as many are to be "beautiful." This problem must be addressed by men as well as women.

Of course, the answer to this problem lies in the realization by women and by men of who we are in Christ. We are new creations, beautiful in God's sight, not because of our outward appearance but because our hearts have been cleansed and sin washed away. It is amazing how we can get consumed by something like beauty during these short years we have this life. These clay bodies we are using for this time came from the dust of the earth and will one day return to the dust of the earth. I hate to be so blatant, but that is exactly what we are trying to make and keep beautiful.

Let me say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to look nice, have a good appearance, and maintaining ourselves the best we can during this life. As a matter of fact, I believe the Lord wants us in good shape, looking our best so that we can be the best servants for Him possible during this life. The problem though is the insatiable consuming desire for beauty that this society has pressured many women into trying to attain and maintain. If the same effort went into our service for Him, it would be incredible all the additional work for the Kingdom that would be accomplished!!!

I love you and care about you so much. I want to encourage you today to honestly ask God today if you are putting too much emphasis on your outward appearance, and not enough on your inward relationship with Him each day. I love you and pray for you, and have never even met most of you. I love you because the Lord has placed love in my heart for you, not because of what you look like, but because of who you are. His creation, someone He loved enough to send His son to die for, someone He loves and cares for.

God loves you not because of what you look like, but because you are His child! Let that truth take hold in your heart today, and go forward knowing you are truly beautiful in God's eyes. Would you rather be beautiful to a world that will one day not exist, or to your God who you will be spending eternity with? Make sure your drive to be beautiful is in God's eyes first.
