Dear Lord, give me an extra measure of discernment today. Help me to be able to "see" with spiritual eyes and "hear" with spiritual ears the things of You! Please help me to discern those things in my life that are good and I need to focus on, as well as those things in my life that are NOT helping me to grow in my faith and I need to leave behind. My only desire is to serve You and that You are glorified in my life. In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

This past Monday’s Daily Devotional was on office romances. It was meant as an opportunity for those who were in such a relationship outside of their marriage to seek the Lord and get back to their relationship with Him and seek healing for their marriage.

It was also a warning to everyone else that this temptation exists and to be aware of it. This issue once again confirms God’s warning in many places throughout Scripture that God sees all and what men do in the dark God will one day expose to the light of day.

From 1993-1996 the Ohio State football team had a great linebacker who was an All American named Mike Vrabel. Vrabel would go on to play 13 yrs in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, and Kansas City Chiefs. During his time with the Patriots Vrabel was part of 3 Super Bowl champions.

After his playing career was over, Vrabel went into coaching eventually becoming the head coach of the Tennessee Titans for 5 years and most recently the head coach of the New England Patriots. He led New England to the Super Bowl in his first year where they were beaten by the Seattle Seahawks this past February.

For 8 yrs, from 2015-2023, Dianna Russini worked as an NFL insider at ESPN. She left ESPN in 2023 to join The Athletic which is a major online sports platform that is owned by the New York Times. Russini was known throughout her career as being someone who broker major stories about the day to day operations and moves of NFL teams and players.

A few months ago, pictures surfaced of Vrabel and Russini poolside at a private resort near Phoenix at the time of the annual NFL winter meetings. While the pictures were innocent enough, it was clear they were comfortable with each other in what could be viewed as an intimate setting. While the pictures raised obvious questions since both are married and with children, Vrabel and Russini dismissed them as just friends in a relaxed setting.

If their initial explanation of the pictures were supposed to have made people to move on, it clearly didn’t work. Internet detectives were on the job to see if those “innocent pictures” were just that or if there was more to the story. I guess sadly for Vrabel, Russini, and their families there was quite a bit more and the story is still far from over.

Very quickly other pictures of the two surfaced at a NY bar in a very close, intimate moment together. Public social media posts linked to Russini were discovered that were almost certainly sent to Vrabel in the aftermath of his firing as the head coach of Tennessee.

The totality of all that has been discovered since those initial pictures shows with virtual certainty a serious relationship that has gone on for roughly 6 years. Russini has two sons ages 4 and 5, and the latest twist is whether the father of her youngest son is her husband or Vrabel!

Over the past month, Russini has resigned from her job with the Athletic that paid her in the neighborhood of $1 to $1.5 million annually. She has gone “dark” and has stayed out of the public spotlight. Vrabel at this moment is still the head coach of the New England Patriots, but depending on what else may come out he may not survive this scandal, especially if it turns out he is the father of Russinis youngest son.

Obviously this is a story that plays out in countries all over the world most every day. The only reason we know about Vrabel and Russini is because these are two very high profile people who are part of the most popular sport in the United States. While it is not completely analogous, just open your Bible and read the story of David and Bathsheba.

God allowed whatever Vrabel and Russini were doing over these past years to be exposed for the world to see. Pray for them both, their spouses, their children, and join me in believing that whatever the professional price they may pay that they both can find healing and restoration in their marriages and families.

In the meantime, let this be a very teachable moment that as the Bible tells us the things we may do in the dark can one day be exposed to the light of day. SIN ALWAYS HAS A PRICE, A PRICE FAR MORE THAN YOU EVER EXPECTED, AND IN THE END YOU WILL PRAY THAT PRICE!

The good news is if you turn back to the Lord He will forgive you and give you the strength and the grace to move past your sin, past the price you will pay, and once again know His presence, love, and blessings in your life! AMEN!!!

A true modern day tool of satan helping to lead the souls of millions to hell!!! Other than Oprah, there is probably nobody in the world more responsible for selling the spiritual crack of our day, these damnable New Age teachings from the pits of hell, than Deepak Chopra.

Chopra is an Indian medical doctor and operates the Chopra Center at the LaCosta Resort and Spa in California. It is billed as the place people can come to be healed in their body, mind, and soul, by utilizing Chopra's New Age concepts. He tours the world, speaking to sold out venues, dispensing his New Age lies from hell.

He has written over 40 books, books mostly on "spirituality." One of his best-sellers was titled, "Jesus." It was Chopra's version of Jesus, and I assure you this is NOT the true Biblical Jesus. The thing that makes me sick is that I have heard men who claim to be pastors endorsing this and other Chopra books, and people who call themselves Christians heartily endorsing Chopra's books to their friends and family.

IS THERE ANY DISCERNMENT LEFT IN THE CHURCH TODAY???

The fact is, a tool of satan like Chopra would have never been given an ounce of credibility within the church just 50 yrs ago. That is because you would have had pastors speaking out against his satanically inspired teachings, not reading from them on Sunday morning!

The average lay person would have never given him a second of their attention, since they knew what he was peddling was in complete rebellion to the Truth of God's Word. In this Biblically illiterate time we are living, most who claim to be Christians fall for lies like Chopra's because they simply don't know what the Bible says.

Of course the blame has to fall squarely on the shoulders of pastors and Christian leaders. They have failed miserably to lead the flock. A true shepherd is supposed to feed, teach, and protect their flocks from wolves like Oprah and Chopra. Instead, they blindly let these wolves of satan into the very place their sheep live.

So many have come into the church through these watered down seeker/purpose driven/emergent church marketing strategies designed to fill churches with warm bodies by watering down the Truth of God's Word. So these people are already used to a compromised, non-confrontational, non-offensive presentation of God's Word. So lies like Chopra dispense sound very similar.

THIS IS WHY I POUND ON THIS ISSUE SO OFTEN. WE HAVE AN ENTIRE GENERATIONS OF PEOPLE WHO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS CHRISTIANS WHO MAY HAVE NEVER EVEN GIVEN THEIR LIVES TO CHRIST BY FAITH, AND CERTAINLY HAVE NEVER BEEN ROOTED AND GROUNDED IN THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD. THE BYPRODUCT IS THEY ARE EASY TARGETS FOR THE CHOPRA'S OF THE WORLD TO LEAD THEM FAR AWAY FROM THE TRUTH OF THE BIBLE AND TO ETERNAL DAMNATION!

Of course the secular media LOVES Deepak Chopra. He is a fixture on the old Larry King program, FOX News, and all the talk shows. It makes me want to throw up to hear Sean Hannity in one breath claim to be a Christian, and in the next talk about how great Eckhart Tolle's "A New Earth" is, or how much he enjoys Chopra's books. I have never once, not once, seen anyone EVER confront this charlatan publicly.

Several years ago I sent Chopra several invitations to come on my TV program and debate me on the merits of what he teaches people about "spirituality." Like Oprah and the other minions satan uses, he refuses to be put in a position where he has to debate his beliefs.

Sadly, Chopra's books sell millions from people seeking the truth. They fill the hearts and minds of millions of people with this false sense of who Jesus is, and helps insure millions of souls will end up in hell. This is the person Jesus warned about when he said that it is not the person who can kill your body you need to fear, but the one who can help lead your soul to hell.

A few years ago in Washington, DC, there was a bus sign campaign by a humanist group that said, "Why believe in God? Just be good for goodness sake." This was a play on the Christmas song, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," and reinforces the secular mindset that you don't have to believe in God, just be "good."

Of course the Bible clearly states that "there are none that are good, no not one," since we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. So once again, in a very public way, this lie from hell that all you have to do is to be good is being reinforced in the minds of the unbelieving masses.

I love you and care about you so much. It is a shame that you will never hear this message in your church. You will never hear anyone in the Christian media expose this tool of satan for who he really is. The fact is, most pastors don't think he is relevant, showing how out of touch they are, and those in the Christian media either don't have the guts to take him on or they are so busy with their own agenda, they aren't worried about warning the people from dangerous men like Chopra.

Deepak Chopra is evil incarnate, packaged in this persona that looks so kind and gentle and loving. Chopra is literally satan masquerading as an angel of light!!!

It is too bad that those who oppose God are busy in the marketplace boldly declaring their opposition to God. In the meantime, most who love the Lord are out of sight, silent, not even in the game. If there is one thing that frustrates me to the point I want to scream, it is the passiveness, the lack of boldness, the lack of courage, the gutlessness of most Christians who are too afraid go into the public square and compete with the agents of satan for the hearts, minds, and souls of men!

It is no wonder why we are losing souls each and every day. We don't go out and fight for them! We know we're saved and really could care very little about those who are not. GOD WILL HOLD US ACCOUNTABLE FOR OUR APATHY TOWARDS THE LOST!!!
