DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY DECEMBER 11, 2025

(Matthew 6:25-33)

***CHRISTMAS FOR SINGLE MOTHERS***

After much prayer and despite still needing $130,000 to end this year with all of our financial needs current, I have taken a huge step of faith and am announcing that as we have done virtually every year since Liveprayer began over 26 years ago, we will be helping out single mothers this Christmas. We will be helping 30 single mothers with a gift of $200 so they can insure their children have something under the tree and a nice Christmas meal. As in past years, all I ask is that these single mothers we help go to church with their children on Christmas! I never ask people to do something I don't do myself, and am giving into my personal need by taking care of 10 of the 30. If God is leading you to help me take care of any of the other 20, just make sure you mark on your $200 credit card or check gift that it is for the Single Mothers Christmas.

What I need is for those who want to be considered, send me a short email with your name, address, and phone number. I need to know how many children you have and their ages. Lastly, a brief description of why you need this help. PLEASE, AS IN YEARS PAST WE WILL GET INUNDATED WITH REQUESTS. IT WILL BE FIRST COME. With all of the serious issues we face in our country and around the world, I wanted to lighten it up a bit today. Kammy was back in the news the other day claiming that she is an historic figure. She said that there will be a marble bust of her constructed in Congress. LOL! She made this comment on her failed book tour, despite her claims everywhere she goes it is sold out. The fact is NONE of her events have been sold out. Tickets as cheap as $11 are always available, even though over ½ of the people don’t pay anything. Premium tickets for “meet and greets,” for pictures and private interactions are rarely sold.

The fact is Harris has never accomplished ANYTHING of consequence in her entire legal/political career. She was a low level attorney in the city of San Francisco’s legal office, than becoming the DA for San Francisco. Later she became the AG of the state of California. Her next move was to be one of the two Senators from California. Lastly she was chosen to be Joe Biden’s VP. Her moves to become the DA of San Francisco, than to become California AG, after that a US Senator, were not achieved by her legal or political skills, but due to the fact she had a multi-year affair with long time California political power broker Willie Brown who was married at the time.

Kamala Harris became VP due to a deal brokered by long time South Carolina Congressman James Clyburn and Barack Hussein Obama to make Joe Biden the Democratic nominee in the 2020 Presidential election, despite the fact he had been thoroughly rejected by the voters in the first Democratic primaries. Despite being clearly challenged both physically and mentally, Biden was clearly nothing but a puppet for Obama and the globalist elites. He didn’t even run an actual Presidential campaign, using COVID as the excuse for his lack of a campaign. COVID also became the issue used by the Democrats to steal the 2020 election that put the puppet Biden in office.

Part of the deal with Biden to be the nominee was that he would have Kamala Harris as his VP nominee. Biden would have NEVER chosen Kammy since Dr. Jill hated her ever since in one of the Democratic debates she called Biden a racist. Like everything else, Biden had no say so and was forced to have Kammy as his running mate. When choosing a VP, a Presidential candidate has to look at that person as someone qualified to be President in the event for whatever reason the President wasn’t able to fulfill his duties. HARRIS HAD ZERO SUCH QUALIFICATIONS!

I have two possible name plates for this marble bust of Kammy they will be putting somewhere in the Capitol. The first would be, Kamala “Willie Brown’s sidepiece” Harris. If that is a bit too crude despite being true it should be, Kamala “the first DEI VP” Harris. That second one is actually the reason she is truly an historic figure. Not due to any great legal or political accomplishments, she had none, but the fact that she was the nation’s first DEI VP!

Every day I get a breakdown, by category, of the 40,000+ prayer requests we receive here at Liveprayer. The top three each day are always health, relationships, and finances. These three issues transcend age, race, nationality, and financial status. They are the common bond all men who live this life share. Everyone deals with health issues at some point in their life. Everyone deals with relationship issues at some point in their life. Everyone deals with financial issues at some point in their life. I have dealt often with the health and relationship challenges we all face, and today I want to focus on finances.

Money is a necessary part of living this in this world. We must have money to survive. The Bible has lots to say about money. I rarely recommend resources, but for those struggling in this area of your life or simply looking to be better stewards of your money, I would look into getting anything written by a dear friend, Dave Ramsey. Dave is a man God has raised up in this day to teach people the Biblical truths regarding finances.

I want to focus today on where you are financially right now. Many who read this are not having any problems with their finances, while others are struggling. Some people have been blessed with a tremendous abundance of resources and other people have virtually nothing. Regardless, if you find yourself today with a surplus of money or without any at all, never forget that it is God who is your source and it is God who supplies your every need throughout this life. God knows and understands the basic necessities of life like food, shelter and clothing.

I love you and care about you so much. I want to encourage you and pray for you today. For those of you who God has blessed financially, never forget that to whom much is given, much is required. For those of you who are facing great financial obstacles in your life today, now is the time to make your faith real and trust that God will provide as He promised in His Word. Even if you don't have great financial wealth, you are still accountable to God for what He does bring into your hands, so be faithful with what He provides.

Whatever we have in this life has been given to us by God and belongs to Him. We are simply stewards of what He has put into our care. I pray that you will seek the Lord and get His wisdom and discernment in how you can always be a good steward of the resources that He has entrusted to you. God wants to use you regardless of the amount of money you have to be a blessing to others.

The Bible has much to say about the care of the poor. We immediately think of the poor as being those who have no money, but this also includes the spiritually poor, those people who are living without the hope and love of Christ in their life. Everyone can do something with what God has given you to be a blessing to those who are financially poor as well as those who are spiritually poor.
