But you said, “We will not walk in it!” and, God says, “DON'T GIVE UP!!!”

DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY MAY 2, 2026

Rise up o men and women of God! The night draws near and we must work while there is still light!

Praise the Lord! Thanks to the prayers and sacrifice of many friends along with a special gift, we covered our March shortfall AND our April ministry operations one week early!!! WE SERVE A GREAT AND MIGHTY GOD!!!

*As people are already starting to receive their tax refunds, many receiving much more than expected due to the Trump tax cuts, please be praying about sending a tithe to God’s work here at Liveprayer to me save souls off of that tax refund! Amen!

Dear Lord, please help me to use the opportunities to serve You that are available as I go through each day. By grace I know Your love, and peace, and hope, and have a responsibility to share that with others. So many are searching for what I have, give me the boldness and courage to not be shy about helping them find Your hope and love as I have. Use me for Your glory oh Lord. In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!!!

Please take 5 minutes and read this passage again, one more time, and then PRAY over these words. THIS IS US NOW!!! THIS DOES NOT HAVE TO BE US TOMORROW!!! IT IS OUR CHOICE!!!

I want to ENCOURAGE YOU today! I don't know exactly what you are facing in your life this moment, I don't know what your problems are, what trials and tribulations you are experiencing in your life right now. But I do know this, everyone reading these words today is going through something. No matter what it is, I want to give you a message right from the throne room of God...DON'T GIVE UP!!!

I am not going to tell you that all of your problems will be solved by the time you go to bed tonight, chances are they won't. I am not going to tell you that everything will work out exactly the way you want it to, chances are they won't. I am going to tell you, however, that God will provide the answers to whatever your problems may be. I am going to tell you, however, that God will work everything out. God promised us in His Word, "...and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

God told me to tell you today...DON'T GIVE UP!

If you are battling with an illness in your body today...DON'T GIVE UP! If you are battling with your finances today...DON'T GIVE UP! If you are battling with your marriage today...DON'T GIVE UP! If you are you are battling with your employment or schooling today...DON'T GIVE UP! If you are battling with your children today...DON'T GIVE UP! If you are battling with an addiction today...DON'T GIVE UP! NO MATTER WHAT YOUR BATTLE IS TODAY...DON'T GIVE UP!

My friend, God loves you. He knows what you are going through in your life today. He has not abandoned you, He has not forsaken you. In your darkest hour you can be assured that God is right there with you. When everyone else has turned their back on you, when everyone else has run away, when nobody is left to stand with you...GOD IS STILL THERE! On the night He was betrayed, Jesus saw His disciples run from Him, deny even knowing Him, yet He was never alone because God was with Him. Even when those you love the most leave you, Jesus is there because He promised to "never leave you nor forsake you."

God told me to tell you today...DON'T GIVE UP!

I love you and care about you so much. I want you to know that I am standing in the gap for YOU today. I am standing with you and believing God for your needs to be met. You may not see your answer today, or tomorrow, or next week, or next month, or even next year. God's timing is not our timing, but God's timing is always perfect. He is never a second too early, or a second too late. DON'T GIVE UP!

The children of Israel would have never seen the Promised Land had Moses given up. He wandered in the desert for forty years...FORTY YEARS! If God leaves us in the desert for forty minutes we are complaining! We can learn from Moses today that no matter what we are going though in our life, if we will continue to trust God, keep our faith in the Lord regardless what the circumstances may be, He will deliver us and meet our every need. The key however, is that you DON'T GIVE UP!

I will be praying for you today. Praying that the Lord will give you His peace no matter what you may be facing in your life at this moment. Praying that God will give you His strength today. Paul wrote to the church at Galatia to "...not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." As you wait on God to answer your prayers, to meet your needs, continue to be faithful. Remember that as we are about our Father's business, He will be about our business!

God is saying to you that no matter what you are going through today...DON'T GIVE UP!!!

"Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." (1 Corinthians 15:58)
