***Prayer***

Dear Lord, I know I have only one life, one life to live for You. This is my moment in human history. Please Lord, let me make the most if it. Use my life to do great things for You as I surrender it afresh to You each morning. When I take my last breath, let there be no regrets, no sadness, that I didn't use my life fully for Your Glory! In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

***Personal Message For You From Bill Keller***

Obey the Lord and His word today!

***The Daily Liveprayer TV Nugget***

Please take time to read the Daily Devotional below. It deals with what the Bible teaches about capital punishment and the supposed contradiction regarding people who are “pro-life,” fighting for the life of the unborn, while also supporting capital punishment. This is a false argument since the two issues are like comparing grapes and watermelons!

***October Financial Update***

Did you know God’s timing is always perfect, even though it is rarely our timing? After 35 years of walking by faith in my service to the Lord, watching God’s faithfulness in my personal life, in the life of the work He has called me to, and in the lives of millions worldwide, I am still just man of flesh and bone and my faith wavers at times. I am not proud to admit this having preached faith daily to millions worldwide. In the end, the Bible is true, God’s promises are real, and He loves us more than we can comprehend.

After over 27 years online and going on 24 years on TV, God is not finished with Liveprayer! WE STILL HAVE WORK TO DO! The last month has been a real test, a test I have honestly failed at times in those wee hours when it is dark, quiet, and it is just you and the Lord. I am humbled that the Lord sent a couple of “rams in the bush” that has helped us clear up the balance of our July shortfall AND the entire August budget for out daily ministry operations. GOD IS GREAT!

We ended September having cleared up our July and August operations. As we begin October, we can now being to work on the $55,000 we requires for September’s budget and the $55,000 we require for October. The good news is for now we are back on solid footing financially and the emergency that threatened to shut down Liveprayer has been averted! satan is a liar and a loser and our God is faithful! AMEN!

Please pray about helping me with a gift in the first days of October. The Bible teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some that may be $10 or $20. For others it may be $50 or $100. Still others it may be $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000 or more. GOD WILL BLESS YOUR GIFT NO MATTER WHAT THE AMOUNT!!!

Also, don't forget a gift of $1,800 covers one day of ministry at Liveprayer. I received this email recently, “Pastor Bill, My wife and I have just sold our last rental and God told us to tithe $1,800.00 to pay for a day of your ministry. Not looking for accolades, just that you know when you receive the check. Rest assured that we will still be making our regular weekly tithes."

*By the way I have been seeking the Lord since the start of this year for God to lead someone He has blessed richly to make a legacy gift of $15,000,000 to Liveprayer. That would insure that when God decides to call me home Liveprayer will continue to impact lives and lead lost souls to faith in Jesus for a minimum of 20 years. Please stand in agreement with me for the Lord to raise up that person!

*Live on after you are in Heaven!!! By remembering God's work here at Liveprayer in your will/estate planning, you can still help me share His Truth with the masses, be here for people in their time of greatest need, and help lead the lost to faith in Jesus even after God has called you home!!! God has led many of our friends in the Liveprayer family to remember His work here in their will. Please pray about this opportunity to continue and partner with me in the Lord's work at Liveprayer, even after you are enjoying your rewards and the eternal peace of Heaven! Much of the nation is in an uproar over the botched execution of Christa Pike in Tennessee. Pike had been sentenced to death for the 1995 torture and murder of her 19-year-old Job Corps classmate, Colleen Slemmer, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Last Wednesday the 30th of September, Pike’s lawyers got the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals to stay her execution. However, Tennessee AG appealed that ruling to the Supreme Court who overturned the stay to allow the execution to go forward.

They injected Pike with the chemicals, but they missed the vein and she remained conscious. They gave her a second injection that once again missed the vein. Pike complained of her arm burning and lost consciousness. An ambulance was called and EMTs took Pike to a local hospital. She remained unconscious, though was still alive. As of Monday she has been declared brain dead, but is still being kept alive artificially. To be honest, she was scheduled to die so why not just stop the extraordinary efforts to keep her alive and let her die?

This event once again brought the issue of capital punishment into the news, with advocates opposing the death penalty using what happened in Tennessee as an opportunity to once again and, try to get the 27 states where the death penalty is still in effect to outlaw it. The corporate media that cheerleads for the killing of innocent babies and supports criminals and not the victims of crime unless it advances their narrative agenda. With the evil abortion industry pushing states to kill innocent babies for any reason at any time, I wanted to use this opportunity to share with you what the Bible says about capital punishment.

Many who oppose capital punishment say it is hypocritical to be opposed to abortion and yet, support capital punishment. That is an grapes and watermelons argument! Abortion is the killing of an innocent life. Capital punishment is the killing of someone who is guilty of a serious crime against society. You cannot even argue the two, because one deals with an innocent life, the other deals with a guilty life.

The baby killed in the womb did nothing wrong and made no CHOICE to cause their death. The person who is put to death by the state, CHOSE to commit the heinous crime that society deemed punishable by death. Another false argument is that capital punishment is not a deterrent to others from committing the same kinds of horrible crimes. It is not supposed to be a deterrent! It is the penalty society deems appropriate for those who have CHOSEN to commit the most heinous of crimes against society.

You see, capital punishment has a very solid basis from scripture and ultimately is a decision each society must determine. One of the wonderful things about our country is that we can change laws that we feel are not acceptable. For those who disagree with capital punishment, you have the right to disagree. However, God's Word is our final authority on all matters, and you cannot ignore the Biblical predicate for capital punishment.

Back in 2002 in the early years of Liveprayer, I dealt with the execution of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh. If all accounts of what he felt in his heart in his last days on earth are correct, he rejected God and is eternally separated from Him. NOT because of his heinous and horrific crime in killing 168 innocent people, but for rejecting Jesus Christ. I was saddened to hear a pastor of a United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City across from where the Murrah Federal Building once stood, say on national TV that God would never forgive Timothy McVeigh.

That is NOT what the Bible says. The fact is, ANYONE, the "whosoever" of John 3:16, that truly repents of their sins and accepts Jesus Christ by faith will be saved, even someone who committed such horrible crimes as Timothy McVeigh or Christa Pike. That does not mean they could escape the earthly punishment for their actions, but that God would forgive them of their sins if they asked Him to, just like He will forgive anyone who asks Him to. The choice he made is the same choice we all must make in this life, to have our sins washed away and accept God's gift of everlasting life by faith through faith in Jesus Christ, or reject it.

Many have trouble accepting this truth. They have trouble accepting the fact that someone like a Timothy McVeigh or a Christa Pike could do something so heinous, yet still be eternally with God. But you see, we are ALL sinners. The Bible proclaims that ALL have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. In Ephesians chapter 2 it says "For it is by grace you have been saved, though faith... and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God...not by works, so that no one can boast."

You see my friend, God has made a way for everyone, even Timothy McVeigh and Christa Pike to accept Christ by faith, repent of their sins, and be born again. Even though you may not have done anything as horrible as McVeigh or Pike did, the fact is, you are still a sinner, and you will be eternally separated from God when this journey is over unless you come to know Jesus as your personal savior.

I love you and care about you so much. The killing of innocent babies and the killing of a person convicted of the most heinous crimes society has deemed to be worthy of death ARE NOT THE SAME THING! These are two totally different issues. The Bible clearly teaches killing an innocent baby is murder and also teaches death is a just punishment for a person convicted of making the conscience choice to commit an act heinous enough the state says is punishable by death.

The incredible truth of the Gospel is that even those who commit the most horrific crimes can still repent and ask the Lord to forgive them. Christ loves each one of us so much He died for our sins. If you have never accepted Jesus as your Savior, He is standing at the door of your heart today and knocking!!! It is no accident you are reading these words. I am praying that you will open your heart to Jesus and let Him in.
