Dear Lord, you are the One we serve! Everyone who has accepted Jesus as their Savior by faith has been called to use their lives in some way to advance Your Kingdom. You have called us to share the Truth of Your Word with this dark, lost, and hurting world and the love of Jesus since You are the only true hope for each person. Guide our steps oh Lord and give us courage and boldness as You use our lives to lead lost souls to everlasting life through faith in the name that is above all names, the name of JESUS! AMEN!!!

Over these last 27 years of Liveprayer, this is a very unique Daily Devotional as it deals with my own personal challenges and struggles living on the front lines, sharing with you my intimate and personal prayer needs. LIVEPRAYER HAS ONLY BEEN POSSIBLE DUE TO THE LOVE, ENDLESS PRAYERS, AND GENEROUS SACRIFICIAL GIFTS OF SO MANY DEAR PEOPLE OVER THIS LAST QUARTER OF A CENTURY PLUS!

Literally every morning by the grace of God, He has given me the ability to write and send out the Liveprayer Daily Devotional. I have always been more transparent than probably most any minister/public figure you will find. Those who are in the Liveprayer family know that as I share an important message with you each day, I also openly share the challenges of serving the Lord boldly and without compromise on the front lines as we literally battle satan for the eternal souls of men.

Today I am going to share with you my immediate personal prayer needs and ask that you stand in agreement with me for those needs. God called George Washington to lead the American revolution. Without money, without even an army, Washington answered God’s call and helped to birth the greatest nation in human history. As he fought the earthly challenges of such a monumental endeavor, challenges that seemed impossible to overcome in the natural, he succeeded due to his faith and unwavering dependence on Almighty God!

After meeting Jesus on the Damascus Road, spending 4 years in the Arabian desert preparing himself to give the rest of his life serving the Lord, Paul set forth to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world of his day. As with Washington, Paul faced humanly impossible odds. Without great resources, a team of people, Paul set out with only God’s calling and his faith to share the Truth of God’s Word and the hope and love of Jesus Christ as the only answer for mankind with the world of his day.

Over apx. 30 years, Paul dealt with the earthly challenges of funding, perilous travels that included being shipwrecked, and hostile crowds who rejected the Gospel and physically beat him, ran him out of towns, even jailing him. He dealt with helpers who abandoned him. While God showed Paul a fraction of the fruit from his labors to encourage him along the way, he willingly gave his life in Rome for his faith in Christ.

The world would not know the names of George Washington or Paul without them literally giving their lives to Christ. It was their unwavering faith in God that gave them the strength and courage to trust Him even when in the natural their goals seemed impossible. 250 years later the United States of America celebrates our Semiquincentennial because of Washington’s faith.

From the few thousand Believers worldwide at the time of Paul’s death, 2,000 years later there is an estimated 2.5 billion Christians in the world today, though it is important to distinguish a person identifying as a Christian and those who have made a personal commitment of their life to Jesus by faith. While there are no exact numbers, demographers estimate billions of people have practiced Christianity over the past 2,000 years.

I was raised in the church and gave my life to Jesus at age 10. I ran from God’s calling in my 20s during the 1980s, using a precious decade of my life to serve myself and make millions in the business world. God got my attention in the late 80s when I was involved in an insider trading operation that led to spending 2 years in Federal Prison and losing everything. *Please watch the short Bill Keller Documentary: https://www.liveprayer.com/bill.cfm

God opened the door for me to use that time in prison to get my theological degree from Liberty University. At age 34, broke, and with numerous opportunities to get back into the business world, I remained faithful to my commitment to use whatever days I had left to serve the Lord.

The first 7 years I had a more traditional evangelistic ministry preaching in churches, speaking to various business groups, holding noon time evangelistic services for business people in the basement of the old Bismarck Hotel in downtown Chicago. It was in early 1999 that the Lord gave me the vision for a new technology called the internet despite not having a tech background and having never owned a computer!

Fast forward to today. Liveprayer celebrated 27 years online a week ago on 8/31. In March of 2003 I launched the Liveprayer TV program. The vision for both Liveprayer.com and Liveprayer TV was to reach the lost and hurting masses outside of the 4 walls of the church. That is why I have used the Daily Devotional as a vehicle to reach people lost and saved with real life issues we all face, giving those who didn’t know the Lord a place to go for prayer in their time of need.

That is also why the TV program never aired on Christian TV, but focused on the lost masses found on secular TV stations, networks, and streaming platforms. As I do online, each night I deal with the issues of the day everyone feces in their personal lives along with the major issues of the day from a Biblical worldview. I always end each program inviting people to email me for prayer and giving an invitation for the lost to accept Jesus as their Savior by faith.

Despite knowing how to build a large organization, day one I committed to keeping the ministry support team as small as possible and focus on the work God called me to and not get entangled in the things of this world. No big staffs that have to be paid every Friday, no buildings that even if donated require insurance and upkeep, no huge salary though in the last 15 yrs there I have sacrificed my salary and only take living expenses, no mansions, no luxury cars, no $5,000 suits, no private jets.

JUST MINISTRY! HELPING PEOPLE THROUGH THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE WE ALL FACE WHILE DEALING WITH THE CRITICAL MOMENTS AND ISSUES IN THE UNITED STATES AND AROUND THE WORLD FROM A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW! BECAUSE OF THE REACH OF THE INTERNET AND TV, I COULD SPEAK TO EXPONENTIALLY MORE PEOPLE IN A DAY THAN EVEN THE GREATEST MEGA CHURCHES OR TRADITIONAL EVANGELISTIC MINISTRIES DOING IN-PERSON CRUSADES. MOST CRITICAL, IT COST ME A FRACTION OF WHAT TRADITIONAL CHURCHES AND MINISTRIES HAVE TO RAISE!!!

Since I have done 100% of the ministry work, now at age 68 it has been the grace of God that has given me good health so I literally could be in my office every single day since Liveprayer began! Please say a prayer for God to continue to keep me in good health. If God called me home today, we have impacted 100s of millions of lives worldwide! God has allowed me to write over 9.800 Daily Devotionals, broadcast over 6,000 “live” TV programs, responded to over 330 million emails for prayer, accumulated apx. 33 million Praise Reports, and most critical have seen apx. 3.3 million souls come to faith in Jesus.

ALL PRAISE BE TO ALMIGHTY GOD AND TO THE FRIENDS IN THE LIVEPRAYER FAMILY WHOSE PRAYERS AND GENEROUS SACRIFICES HAVE ALLOWED ME SERVE THE LORD! ALMIGHTY GOD BLESSED WASHINGTON AND PAUL TO ACCOMPLISH WHAT THEY DID, BUT LIKE HERE AT LIVEPRAYER HE USED SO MANY PEOPLE DURING THEIR TIME TO PRAY FOR THEM AND GIVE TO THEM THE FINANCES THEY REQUIRED TO DO THE LORD’S WORK!

A quick note. I have always hated having to raise money. A wise old pastor told me early in my ministry that those who serve satan have no problem asking people to give them money to destroy the lives of people, so never be ashamed to ask people to support your work for the Kingdom of God. If satan’s minions believe in their work of evil and ask people to support that evil, how much more should I believe in God’s work of ministering to people in their time of need and saving souls and ask people to support that work?

I loved the stretches over the years where we had enough support that allowed me not to have to address our financial needs in our daily ministry. God has blessed us with many dear friends over the years who He had richly blessed and had the ability to help me with a gift of $5,000, $10,000, often more in a time of need so I never had to share that critical need with the masses. Sadly, many of those dear friends have gone home to be with the Lord, however God continues to replace them so we still have several who can help out significantly when things get tight if they are able to.

However, we have also had stretches where finances were lagging and my choice was to say nothing and just shut down, or share our needs and trust God to move on the hearts of those who were able to help me. I apologize when I have to do that since it upsets some people. Despite reaching so many each day, history has shown that far less than 1% of those we minister to ever give. So if I say nothing people who could help don’t know there is an urgent need and they don’t get an opportunity to be faithful. A big reason most ministries preach to the choir is because they understand most non-Believers, those who need to hear about the Lord the most, won’t ever give to their work.

God has richly blessed us with so many faithful friends. Some literally have been with me from day one. The reality is everyone is at a different season of their financial lives. I don’t have any special insight into people’s finances. I have refused to use professional fundraising operations that most ministries use. They do extensive research on people’s assets and target them based on what they make and have. I understand it, but decided to simply trust God to move on people and give as He purposes in their heart.

So because non-Christians are our primary target audience, it puts us in even a more difficult position financially at times. The first day of each month since I began 34 years ago, I take the budget for that month, get on my knees, lay my hands on that budget and simply ask the Lord to provide for that month. In the natural and coming from a business background it may seem kind of ludicrous, but God uses the simple things to confound the wise. He has never failed me and won’t start to today! Also my friend, He will never fail you!

Money is relative. For one person a $10 donation is a major sacrifice like the woman who put her few mites in the Temple treasury. For others, they can give $10,000 or more and never miss it. We have had people who inherited money, or sold a business, a home or property, or had a major raise in their salary who gave a gift to Liveprayer as an act of worship which is what the Bible says our giving is supposed to be. So by faith I share our needs and trust the Lord to move on hearts to give as they are able in order for us to meet those needs.

Today, I bare my soul to you and am sharing my immediate and urgent personal prayer needs. I ask you to stand with me in prayer for these needs.

1) Pray for my assistant. She has been with me for 25 of our 27 yrs. She has been a warrior dealing with much of the daily administrative issues. She is currently battling serious issues with her eyes. It is getting difficult for her to keep working, but I am asking God to touch her eyes and bring healing to them. The same Jesus who made the blind see in the Bible, is the very same Jesus today who can heal the eyes of my assistant. AMEN!

2) My head tech who keeps Liveprayer online and our email operations working deals literally 24/7 with attacks on our technology. After 27 yrs online, 23+ years on TV, and because I refuse to compromise the Truth of God’s Word and take on satan’s evil minions looking to destroy lives and lead souls to hell, Liveprayer is a HUGE visible target. My head tech has been dealing with some major health and financial issues. So please pray that the Lord continues to give him wisdom in fighting satan’s demons who attack Liveprayer, heal his body, and meet his financial needs.

3) Due to the fact that I still receive anywhere from 6-10 death threats a month, some due to being on the Southern Poverty Law Center “hate map” the last 15 yrs, my security person had me move to an undisclosed home in a gated community for the safety of my wife a decade ago. The man who owns the home I have rented the last 10 yrs on a sweetheart deal lost his wife 6 months ago and is planning on selling the home in the coming months. So on top of everything else I am going to have to find a new secure place to live. No doubt unless God opens the right door it will be considerably more expensive. Pray that the Lord guides us to a safe and affordable place to lay our heads at night.

4) Pray that we continue to get favor from our vendors we have to pay for Liveprayer’s operations, most important from the people we have to pay monthly for the bandwidth our website and email operations require. We often get behind after attacks eat up chunks of bandwidth, and just keeping Liveprayer and our email operations online can become a challenge. In 27 years, other than apx 10 hours cumulative, Liveprayer has been up and running.

5) Please pray for our current financial situation. At this moment, $30,000 is required over the next 5 days to get us back in a good place financially. Please review the ***September Financial Update*** below and pray for this need to be met. Also, please pray about what God may be calling you to give to help me at this critical time. Again, what you give is between you and the Lord and He will guide you in your giving. Giving as an act of worship which is what God calls our giving to be!

I love and care about you so much. Thank you for taking the time today to pray over these personal needs I have. I thank God for you every morning, since all I do each day is not possible without your love, prayers, and those who make the sacrifice to help me financially. Please know I pray for you, your family, and the Lord’s richest blessings in all you do each and every day.

While the world my know the name of Bill Keller and Liveprayer, I know and most important God knows YOUR NAME! My only regret over these 3+ decades of serving the Lord is the fact that I have only had a chance to share a meal, a prayer together, a hug with such a small percentage of those in the Liveprayer family. I am solely focused on what God has called me to do during this season, but one day He will call me home and I look forward to a great reunion in Heaven with all of those in the Liveprayer family!

***September Financial Update***

GOD IS FAITHFUL! Thank you for all who have been praying and those able to help me during this difficult month as the summer months are finally behind us. Every one of our 27 years we have struggled financially thru the summer, and after Labor Day thru the end of the year we catch up. However, it has often presented some serious cash flow problems since the amount of daily ministry we provide to people worldwide and expenses don’t change during the summer.

Please pray about helping me with a special emergency gift at this critical moment as we are on the front lines daily battling satan for the eternal souls of men!

Thanks to friends like you we covered the final $5,000 from our June operations in the first days of September and entered into the long holiday weekend making this challenge even more difficult, requiring the first $15,000 of our July shortfall. That $15,000 clears up the invoices we are behind for our servers that keep Liveprayer.com online 24/7 and handles our extensive email operations including sending out the Daily Devotional. This Thursday we require another $15,000 from July. That $30,000 clears up our critical past due operational expenses. GOD IS ABLE!!!

sATAN IS A LIAR AND A LOSER! AFTER 27 YRS, TENS OF MILLIONS OF LIVES HAVE BEEN IMPACTED FOR CHRIST WORLDWIDE AND OVER 3.3 MILLION SOULS WE KNOW HAVE COME TO FAITH IN CHRIST!!! $30,000 WILL NOT STOP GOD’S WORK HERE AT LIVEPRAYER!!! NEVER FORGET THAT YOU AND GOD ARE ALWAYS A MAJORITY!!!

Clearing up that critical $30,000 gives us the rest of September to cover the final $25,000 of our July operations and the $55,000 we required during August. Covering that $80,000 of shortfalls will lead us into October and the final 3 months of the year requiring the $55,000 for our September operations along with the $55,000 we will require in October, in November, and in December. OUR GOD IS ABLE!!!

Please be praying if you have sold some property, a business, had a financial windfall of some sort but haven’t tithed on that windfall, please pray about planting that seed in the proven good soil of Liveprayer at this critical time! There are a few the Lord is speaking to who HE has blessed and enabled to step up at this critical moment and help me with a significant gift! Everyone can pray, and most can make a sacrifice as the Lord purposes in your heart whether that is $10, $50, $100, or more!
