No matter what, never run FROM God, but always TO God. That is especially true in those moments you are tempted to run from Him!
I need your help today, we are in a difficult place financially as we end the summer months! Heading into the final days of August here is what our immediate needs are! We covered $10,000 of the critical $30,000 balance of our June operations leaving the final $20,000 from June’s shortfall and the $55,000 from our July ministry operations.
That is $75,000 we require before the end of the month to clear up our shortfalls we had starting August. I desperately need that final $20,000 from June that is way past due immediately, today!
That will give us some breathing room financially and allow me to have the final days of August to clear up the $55,000 from July. If you have sold some property, a business, had a financial windfall of some sort but haven’t tithed on that windfall, please pray about planting that seed in the proven good soil of Liveprayer at this critical time!

Dear Lord, please help me to live this day honoring You in my thoughts, words, and deeds. Help me this day to live my life pleasing and acceptable to Jesus. Allow me to use my life to help someone else during this day, and be kind to everyone I come across no matter how they may treat me. Let Christ shine through me throughout this day oh Lord, be glorified through my life! In Jesus name I pray...AMEN!!!
***The Daily Liveprayer TV Nugget***
In sharing with you all of the events happening in our world, looking at our culture from a Biblical worldview, the various events often cause people to stop and think. Here is one for you to mull over today! Just last week, female Governor of Mass. Maura Healey was surrounded at her desk by about a dozen women, all who broke into a thunderous applause as they cheered Gov. Healey with a broad smile as she signed a new bill into law.
What was the new bill? It was a new bill allowing a perfectly healthy and normal child to be slaughtered right up to the very moment that child leaves the mother’s womb! These women, most probably have children of their own and probably a couple even have grandchildren. They were exuberant as Healy signed a new law so in Mass. a baby can be slaughtered up to the very moment of birth, even tho most babies are now able to live perfectly normal lives even if delivered a month early!
Meanwhile in Healy’s Mass, a woman named Lindsay Clancy is on trial for killing her 3 small children ages 5 years old, 3 years old, and 8 months old! Clancy’s defense is that she was suffering from postpartum depression and a mental illness she has been treated for over many years. A jury will eventually determine if Clancy was legally insane or knew what she was doing when she killed her three children and then tried to take her own life.
I have no problem with the state of Mass. holding Clancy accountable for killing her children. I have a HUGE PROBLEM with the state of Mass. making it LEGAL to slaughter innocent babies! We are a sick and disgusting people!

***August Financial Update***

The Bible teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some that may be $10 or $20. For others it may be $50 or $100. Still others it may be $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000 or more. God will bless your gift no matter the amount.

I want to give parents out there some encouragement today. Often we get to a point where we wonder if anything we are doing is really making a difference. Let me assure you, the most important job God has given you to do is laying a spiritual foundation in the lives of your children. I know many of you have been diligent in getting your kids to church, involving them in activities at church, teaching them at home how to pray, the importance of the Bible, and talking to them about Jesus.
That great promise in Galatians 6:9 tells us that if we aren't weary in well doing, we will one day reap. We are so used to this day of instant gratification, that we may forget that the things of God happen in His timing and not ours. We may not be able to see the immediate effect in our kid's lives, and even more disappointing, may watch them actually turn away from the Lord as they get older.
Can you imagine how disappointed the father in the story of the Prodigal Son must have been when his own son wanted to get his inheritance and leave home? This father had the wisdom to know that God gives each of us free will to make our own decisions, and there will come a time when our children must make choices for themselves. He also had the faith in God to trust Him to watch over his son. Lastly though, He put his faith in God's word that promised him that the spiritual foundation he laid in his son's life would sustain him in the dark moments of that young man's life.
Let me just interject a personal note here. In my darkest hour, having watched my world destroyed before my very eyes, ending up in Federal Prison, it was the spiritual foundation my parents laid in my life that sustained me, and upon which I was able to rebuild my life. Mom's and dad's....it works, I am a living testimony!
The key point today is don't get frustrated, don't get angry at God when your kids aren't doing what they should, just keep being faithful to lay that spiritual foundation in their life each day. There is no greater gift you can give your children, there is nothing you will do for them that will have a greater impact upon their life. Don't forget, the most important decision any of us make in this life is about our eternal destination. The spiritual foundation you lay in the lives of your children gives them the opportunity to one day make that personal decision to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts by faith.
No one has a greater impact on them than you, since each day they will make hundreds of decisions. Those decisions are influenced by their environment, what they are taught, and how they see you act in your daily life. I will be in prayer for you today to re-commit yourselves today to taking the job God has given you very seriously. THERE IS NO GREATER JOB HE HAS GIVEN YOU THAN LAYING A SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION IN THE LIVES OF YOUR CHILDREN.
I love you and care about you so much. I realize that your children are your life, as they should be. Trust God's Word today, and know that the efforts you make in raising up your children in the fear and admonition of the Lord are not in vain. One day, maybe after you have gone on to be with the Lord, those efforts will bear fruit. As I say often, you cannot control the actions of another human being.
But as parents, you have the best chance of influencing the lives of your children, planting seeds that will be there for the rest of their days on this earth. Be diligent about the work God has given you to do, than pray, trusting God that He will do the rest. I will stand with you in prayer today for your children. The only one who loves your children more than you do is God Himself.
