DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY JULY 1, 2026

(Isaiah 65:24)

***Personal Message For You From Bill Keller***

Pray today for the United States and for our people to repent and turn back to the Almighty God and His Truth!

I need your help! We ended June still with a shortfall of $15,000 from May. I am praying that we can cover the balance of May’s ministry operations over the first week of July so we can begin work on the $55,000 we required for our June ministry operations! Please pray about helping me: To give a gift to Liveprayer you can use your major credit card at: http://liveprayer.com/donate.cfm or you can mail your gift to: Liveprayer, 6662 46th Ave. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. All gifts to Liveprayer are 100% tax deductible!

***Prayer***

Father, I know this is an evil and sin-filled world I live in. Please, protect me, but don't let me be afraid. Let me be bold in declaring Your Truth to this lost world and not be afraid to speak up. Now more than ever I need Your strength to be the servant You have called me to be. Help me, strengthen me, and guide me to do Thy will. In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

***The Daily Liveprayer TV Nugget***

Please be praying for the people of Venezuela, especially those who have lost loved ones in the dual earthquakes of 7.2 followed in mere seconds by one of 7.5 that hit their capital city of Caracas last Wednesday. To date 1,700 are dead, over 5,000 injured, and apx. 50,000 are missing. To make matters worse there have been over 600 aftershocks, the worst being one of 4.6.

It has been encouraging to see the global relief efforts immediately mobilized to bring search and rescue teams, medical teams, food and water, and tens of millions of dollars to Venezuela so far. Please be praying for those who have lost loved ones, for the injured to know God’s healing, and those missing to be recovered and accounted for.

After 26 years of communist rule by Hugo Chavez and then Nicolas Maduro along with the drug cartels that have destroyed this once great country, with the help of the United States Venezuela was has been liberated and on the road to recovery when these quakes hit last week. Pray for the Lord’s hand to be with Venezuela and the people of that country for great days ahead if they will humble themselves and submit to Almighty God and His Truth!

***July Financial Update***

We ended June still with a shortfall of $15,000 from May and the $55,000 we required from our June ministry operations. I am praying that we can cover the balance of May shortfall in the first week of July so we can begin working on the $55,000 from June and then the $55,000 for July’s ministry operations.

That is $125,000 to end July with all of our ministry operation current. Traditionally each year we struggle during the summer months of June, July, and August, but am believing God this year we will have an ABUNDANCE! OUR GOD IS ABLE!!!

The Bible teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some that may be $10 or $20. For others it may be $50 or $100. Still others it may be $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000 or more. God will bless your gift no matter the amount.

Also, don't forget a gift of $1,800 covers one day of ministry at Liveprayer. I received this email recently, “Pastor Bill, My wife and I have just sold our last rental and God told us to tithe $1,800.00 to pay for a day of your ministry. Not looking for accolades, just that you know when you receive the check. Rest assured that we will still be making our regular weekly tithes."

To give a gift to Liveprayer you can use your major credit card at: http://liveprayer.com/donate.cfm or you can mail your gift to: Liveprayer, 6662 46th Ave. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. All gifts to Liveprayer are 100% tax deductible!

*By the way I have been seeking the Lord since the start of this year for God to lead someone He has blessed richly to make a legacy gift of $15,000,000 to Liveprayer. That would insure that when God decides to call me home Liveprayer will continue to impact lives and lead lost souls to faith in Jesus for a minimum of 20 years. Please stand in agreement with me for the Lord to raise up that person!

*Live on after you are in Heaven!!! By remembering God's work here at Liveprayer in your will/estate planning, you can still help me share His Truth with the masses, be here for people in their time of greatest need, and help lead the lost to faith in Jesus even after God has called you home!!! God has led many of our friends in the Liveprayer family to remember His work here in their will. Please pray about this opportunity to continue and partner with me in the Lord's work at Liveprayer, even after you are enjoying your rewards and the eternal peace of Heaven! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me at: bkeller@liveprayer.com

How often do we pray, but never really expect anything to happen? Praying for many has become almost like a superstition. How many pray with confidence? How many pray expecting God to answer? You see, prayer works because God gave us this way to communicate with Him. We do it almost as a chore at times. We do it usually when we have failed and we don't have any other answers. Prayer should never be the last resort, but the first option.

So many emails I get each day state that God doesn't hear their prayers. God isn't answering them. First of all, God's timing is not our timing. Many times you are praying and God is trying to answer in a different way. Prayer is not like buying a lottery ticket. If your number doesn't come up, you lose. God ALWAYS hears your prayers, and God ALWAYS answers your prayers. Maybe not in the time frame you want, or in the way you want, but God does answer.

The problems I find with most people's prayer lives is the unrealistic expectations they have. In so many cases, their own rebellion and disobedience has put them in a difficult situation. Now they run to God like He is a genie in the bottle, expecting everything to be fixed overnight. That is not real life. Can God do it? Of course, but that is not the way it normally works.

In the midst of a tragedy, people pray, and then when everything isn't better, they think God has not heard them or He doesn't care. Again, you have unrealistic, unscriptural expectations of God. God has a plan, a plan that works if you have read the end of the Book. He is on the throne and in control at all times. He knows what is going on.

Can I then explain why He allows some of the horrific things that happen in the world to people every day? No. I am not even going to pretend to understand all God is doing. I do know this. He loves us. He cares about us. He promised all things will work together for good to those who love Him. It doesn't say it will work together the way we want it to.

So if all I have just said is true, what is the point of praying? Because that is how we communicate with God. That is sometimes how He communicates His wishes to us. He told us to come boldly before the throne of grace. Over and over he exhorts us to ask, to pray, to seek Him. One thing prayer does is confirm who is in control.

Another thing it does is help us to know God better as we see Him working in our life. Prayer also reaffirms our dependence upon Him and is a way of surrendering our will for His. These are all things we need to do daily to mature as believers, to better know God, so ultimately we become more productive servants of our King.

I love you and care about you so much. I will be praying for you today, praying that you will understand better prayer and it's power. Use the great access God has given us to Him, not just in our time of need, but every day. I am praying that today you will open your heart and let God speak to you about how you can see more results out of your prayer life, as you focus more on what God wants and less on what you want. Prayer does work, and it is our greatest weapon. Don't neglect it!

In His love and service,

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Bill Keller
