The obsession by the most wealthy to never die! and, The drive for physical beauty!
DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY JUNE 18, 2026
(Psalms 49:14)
***Personal Message For You From Bill Keller***
Share this passage of Scripture with everyone you know today! Jeremiah 18:8: “If that nation against whom I have pronounced , turns from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them!”
***Prayer***
Dear Lord, thank You for the precious promises in Your Word. Let Your Truth be the lamp unto my feet this day as I faithfully follow You. May my obedience be a sweet smell as I honor You with my life this day. In the name of Jesus...AMEN!
***The Daily Liveprayer TV Nugget***
As Elon Musk’s company SpaceX went public this past Friday, he became the world’s first TRILLIONAIRE! In the process over 4,000 of his current and ex-employees became millionaires, some now worth hundreds of millions! One of the most popular and shared TV Nuggets I have written in the last year was a couple months ago when I talked about the fact that the never-ending obsession of the world’s richest men like Musk was to live forever, to never die.
The Lord led me to share this critical word with you again today, and ask that you post it on your social media accounts and share it with everyone you know, encouraging them to do the same. Also, pray since I have sent this to Elon Musk in a few different ways. Pray that God allows him to read these words and that he too will become a bold follower of Christ as so many wealthy people throughout the ages have!
The passage of Scripture in Luke 12:16-21 is often referred to as the Parable of the Rich Fool! Jesus said: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. He thought to himself, What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops. Then he said, This is what I'll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. I'll say to myself, You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry. But God said to him, You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself? This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”
Would you like to know what the number one thing the richest men on the planet think about, literally 24/7? Men like Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerburg, and those worldwide? Making more money? Building the world's biggest yacht? Buying a small country and having a state of the art doomsday bunker for them and their family in preparations for a nuclear disaster? How to give away most of their vast fortune to secure a legacy? Buying a sports team, priceless art, or something else that interests them? All of those would be good guesses, but all would be wrong. No my friend, the number one thing that keeps the world's richest people up at night is how to live forever, how to never die, how to be immortal! Obsession with immortality would be an understatement!
As an aside, in September of last year Russia's Vladimir Putin visited China. In a walk with Chairman XI, a hot mic picked up a snippet of their private conversation where they were discussing the great advances in modern medicine and how it might be possible for man to never die! The fact is rich and powerful men throughout the 6,000 years of human history have had an innate desire to try and find ways to live forever, to never die, and of course have failed in their efforts!
The focus of the richest men on the planet to live forever is guided by the incredible advancement of modern medicine that is helping people today to live longer, even if it is just a few years. There is extensive research into many unique scientific experiments that would blow your mind regarding different ways to help a person to live without dying. These men from around the world with tens of billions of dollars don't reject any potential hypothesis to make immortality possible, pouring tens of millions of dollars into this type of research.
I sure wish they would have contacted me. With a small fraction of the money they are investing in this desire to live forever, Liveprayer could create a global operation that would reach every living man, woman, and child on the planet at least 100 times in the next year with the Gospel and see a worldwide revival that would rival the non-stop efforts of satan to lead those same souls to eternity in hell!
I would sit down with them and share what the Bible says in Genesis Chapter 1 thru Genesis Chapter 2 verse 3. This explains how God created everything that exists in the universe, including mankind. I would than share with them Genesis Chapter 2 verse 17 that is God's ONLY commandment to man, “but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” I would than share with them what God says in Genesis Chapter 3, about how man disobeyed God and ate from the tree of knowledge. I would go back and focus on verse 22 where the Bible tells us, “And the LORD God said, The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”
The summary is simple. God is the creator of ALL things, including mankind. God created man in His own image to live forever. He gave man just one commandment and told him the punishment for disobedience would be death. Man made the free will choice to disobey God and God banished him from the Garden of Eden to prevent him from eating from the tree of life so he would not live forever.
The bottom line is like in the Parable of the Rich Fool, it is foolish for man to try and live forever. Physical death, along with spiritual death as Adam's sin has been imputed to all men thereafter, is the punishment for man's disobedience in the Garden of Eden. While their extraordinary efforts may allow them to live a few extra years IF they stay in perfect health throughout their lives, immortality, living forever, is the dream of fools!
Obviously at this point, I would finally talk to them about how they CAN live for eternity and it is a gift available to all without price! God gives each man an eternal soul at the moment of conception. Adam's sin in the Garden of Eden broke man's spiritual connection to God His Creator, and only faith in Jesus who God sent to this world to redeem fallen man can repair that connection. It is faith in Jesus and Jesus alone that allow fallen men to have his sins forgiven and enjoy eternity with God his Creator!!! Plan of Salvation: https://www.liveprayer.com/salvation.cfm

***June Financial Update***
As we are into June, we ended May with a shortfall of $35,000. So far we have covered $10,000 of May’s $35,000 shortfall leaving the final $25,000. I am praying that we can cover the balance of May this week so we can begin working on the $55,000 we require for our June ministry operation.
That is $80,000 to end June with all of our ministry operation current. Traditionally each year we struggle during the summer months of June, July, and August, but am believing God this year we will have an ABUNDANCE! OUR GOD IS ABLE!!!
The Bible teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some that may be $10 or $20. For others it may be $50 or $100. Still others it may be $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000 or more. God will bless your gift no matter the amount.
Also, don't forget a gift of $1,800 covers one day of ministry at Liveprayer. I received this email recently, “Pastor Bill, My wife and I have just sold our last rental and God told us to tithe $1,800.00 to pay for a day of your ministry. Not looking for accolades, just that you know when you receive the check. Rest assured that we will still be making our regular weekly tithes."

*By the way I have been seeking the Lord since the start of this year for God to lead someone He has blessed richly to make a legacy gift of $15,000,000 to Liveprayer. That would insure that when God decides to call me home Liveprayer will continue to impact lives and lead lost souls to faith in Jesus for a minimum of 20 years. Please stand in agreement with me for the Lord to raise up that person!
*Live on after you are in Heaven!!! By remembering God's work here at Liveprayer in your will/estate planning, you can still help me share His Truth with the masses, be here for people in their time of greatest need, and help lead the lost to faith in Jesus even after God has called you home!!! God has led many of our friends in the Liveprayer family to remember His work here in their will. Please pray about this opportunity to continue and partner with me in the Lord's work at Liveprayer, even after you are enjoying your rewards and the eternal peace of Heaven! The drive to be beautiful. It is amazing to me, how we live in a society where being beautiful is such an incredible asset. Women who have been blessed with natural beauty have incredible advantages in most areas of life. Because of the importance our society places on beauty, it has become an all-consuming drive for too many. In recent years, this has now also become a very big issue for many men. The problem with chasing beauty, is the same problem people who crave money have. It is an unquenchable thirst that can never be satisfied.
This has become a very real problem amongst teen girls. In the social media age the standard for a woman to look a certain way, looks that in many ways that are totally unrealistic, are causing young girls to commit suicide. They are being bullied and body shamed, and it is literally driving them to kill themselves! Sadly, with many living in the busted, broken, and blended homes of today, the love and nurturing of a mother and father is missing when it is needed more than ever. Also, only a small percentage of those 18 and under go to church today.
That is another place girls can learn that their true worth isn't in how they look, but in who God created them to be!
There will always be someone who is more beautiful, more perfect. This drive to be beautiful powers multibillion dollar a year industries like cosmetics, clothing, hair, and cosmetic surgery. There is an insatiable drive to be beautiful that many women chase throughout their entire lifetime. This is a problem not only for women who are without Christ, but also for women who know Jesus as their Savior. In many cases it is actually a sin since it takes priority over a person's relationship with Christ.
We have all heard many times that beauty is only skin deep, and true beauty is what is on the inside, not the outside. That sounds good, and is actually true. But in reality, it is not how we live. ***Let me say right here, that men are as much to blame for this problem as women are! Men have put incredible pressure on women to look a certain way, to be beautiful at all times. If men were as concerned about a woman's inner beauty as her outer beauty, I believe women would not be as fanatical as many are to be "beautiful." This problem must be addressed by men as well as women.
Of course, the answer to this problem lies in the realization by women and by men of who we are in Christ. We are new creations, beautiful in God's sight, not because of our outward appearance but because our hearts have been cleansed and sin washed away. It is amazing how we can get consumed by something like beauty during these short years we have this life. These clay bodies we are using for this time came from the dust of the earth and will one day return to the dust of the earth. I hate to be so blatant, but that is exactly what we are trying to make and keep beautiful to please society.
Let me say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to look nice, have a good appearance, and maintaining ourselves the best we can during this life. As a matter of fact, I believe the Lord wants us in good shape, looking our best so that we can be the best servants for Him possible during this life. The problem though is the insatiable consuming desire for beauty that this society has pressured many women into trying to attain and maintain. If the same effort went into our service for Him, it would be incredible all the additional work for the Kingdom that would be accomplished!!!
I love you and care about you so much. I want to encourage you today to honestly ask God today if you are putting too much emphasis on your outward appearance, and not enough on your inward relationship with Him each day. I love you and pray for you, and have never even met most of you. I love you because the Lord has placed love in my heart for you, not because of what you look like, but because of who you are. His creation, someone He loved enough to send His son to die for, someone He loves and cares for.
God loves you not because of what you look like, but because you are His child! Let that truth take hold in your heart today, and go forward knowing you are truly beautiful in God's eyes. Would you rather be beautiful to a world that will one day not exist, or to your God who you will be spending eternity with? Make sure your drive to be beautiful is in God's eyes first.
In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
