Our faith is not something we pick and choose the things we like and don't like. A true follower of Jesus Christ is also obedient to the Absolute Truth of His Word...ALL IF IT!

Lord, even though we have no right to ask, please continue to watch over this nation. Thank You for showing us the clear signs of destruction our sin and rebellion have heaped upon our land. I pray today that as a nation we will turn back to You and Your Truth. Give me strength as days of persecution are upon us, and let me stand proud and strong for You and Your Kingdom. In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

The media is targeting “Christian nationalists!” Christian nationalist is a fairly new term that is being used in the secular world by Democrats and the corporate media as a pejorative. They equate a Christian nationalist with a domestic terrorist, a white supremacist, people who are colluding to overthrow the government and replace it with a theocracy. They claim that Christian nationalists are “Christofascists,”basically Christian Hitlers!
Obviously this is sheer nonsense and is being used as a weapon to silence Christians who speak out in the public square. There is a very SMALL, FRINGE element who believe that the United States should be a theocracy, much like Muslim nations such as Iran are a theocracy. However, that belief is not just a contradiction of the US Constitution but also of the Bible!
A founding principle of this nation was the freedom of religion. As Christians, we understand God gave man the free will to believe whatever he wants. We realize it is part of our responsibility as followers of Christ to share His hope and love with the lost. This whole Christian nationalist narrative has sprung up by the corporate media to slime true followers of Jesus Christ as a “danger to democracy,” and is being used by Democrats to target activist Christians such as those in the pro-life movement who they see as the enemy to their “religion” of killing innocent babies.
One of my mantras for the 34 years I have been in the ministry, 27 years online and 23 years on TV, has been to challenge God's people to stand up and to speak out. Inaction and silence is NOT an option for the follower of Jesus Christ!
Sadly, even today it is estimated that apx. 50% of people who identify as Christians never vote. I get the argument that politics is an evil institution, that we are not of this world. However, for this season we are IN this world and there is much in God's Word that speaks about being a Godly citizen. Taking a stand on the issues that affect our faith is something every Christian should be part of. Working to elect men and women to office who will best represent our faith beliefs should be a priority for all followers of Christ. We understand we are electing people to public office, not electing a pastor.
SPEAKING OUT SO GOD'S TRUTH IS INCLUDED IN THE CONVERSATION ON THE ISSUES OF THE DAY IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL BELIEVERS!
Those who are condemning Christian nationalists are sending a message to all Christians to stay in your church, sing your songs, pray your prayers, and when church is over go home and shut up! The Christian nationalist pejorative is meant to intimidate Christians into non-action and silence. Accusing us of being fascists is saying our beliefs are rooted in authoritarianism that everyone must adhere to. We are allowed to believe what we want to, but we must keep those beliefs to ourselves and stay out of the public square.
Sadly, Christians have done a great job of self-censoring and this new assault on our beliefs is meant to silence us even further. NOW MORE THAN EVER WE MUST NOT BE SILENT AND BOLDLY AND LOUDLY DECLARE GOD'S TRUTH TO THIS LOST AND FALLEN WORLD!!!

***June Financial Update***
As we are into June, we ended May with a shortfall of $35,000. I am praying that we can cover the balance of May in the first 2 weeks of June so we can begin working on the $55,000 we require for our June ministry operation. So far we have covered $5,000 of May’s $35,000 shortfall leaving the final $30,000.
That is $85,000 to end June with all of our ministry operation current. Traditionally each year we struggle during the summer months of June, July, and August, but am believing God this year we will have an ABUNDANCE! OUR GOD IS ABLE!!!
The Bible teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some that may be $10 or $20. For others it may be $50 or $100. Still others it may be $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000 or more. God will bless your gift no matter the amount.

I had a whole list of current issues to deal with, different sins people are struggling with, but as I was in prayer this morning the Holy Spirit said that the word people needed more than any other today was that it is going to be OK!
It is easy to get weary fighting the evils of this fallen world. It is easy to get weary fighting the battles each one has in their own daily lives. It is not only easy to get weary, but at times feel defeated. You see evil flourishing around you, you see the unrighteous prosper, you see the injustice that exists, you see all of the pain and heartache each day, and you can get down.
My friend, let me give you a word straight from the throne room of God today . . . IT IS GOING TO BE OK!!!
By now, most of you know me well enough to know that I would never say something just to "tickle your ears." One of the things Liveprayer does each day is bring hope to millions worldwide, but not false hope. So when I tell you "it is going to be OK," I am not just saying that to make you feel better or to give you hope that really doesn't exist. I tell you that it is going to be OK BECAUSE IT IS!
We have the promises of God in His Word that no matter what is going on in the world around us, no matter what is going on in our own lives, it is going to be OK . . . because of Jesus!
No doubt, it is easy to look at this fallen and sin-filled world we live in and get very discouraged. A world that is living in utter and total rebellion to God and His Word. For many, looking at the current circumstances of your life can be very discouraging. Financial problems, health problems, marriage problems, addiction problems, employment problems, children problems, legal problems, and a whole host of other problems cause many to look at their lives each day and feel hopeless.
Between the evil in this world that we live in and whatever battles we have in our own life, the fact is that there is nothing to be hopeful about without the hope we have in Christ.
You see, my friend, I can say with 100% assurance to you today that it is going to be OK because of Jesus Christ. It is Jesus that has overcome this sinful world we live in. It is Jesus that allows us to live in victory despite the problems we face in our life. That is why the one and only hope for this world and for our life is faith in Jesus Christ.
Those who put their faith in anything or anyone else will not only be lost for all eternity, they will go through this life never knowing the true peace, the true joy, the true abundance this life can offer, despite the evil in our world and the problems we all have to live through. It is Jesus Christ and Him alone that allows us to live this life and for all eternity in complete and total victory!
I love you and care about you so much. As I type these words directly to YOU today, please hear this message. Don't let the things in the world around you discourage you. Don't let whatever problems you are facing in your life today discourage you. Today, be ENCOURAGED because of Jesus. He has overcome this world, and He will allow you to live your life in victory!
He loves you and He cares about you. He loves you enough that He died for your sins and He cares about you enough that He promised to never leave you nor forsake you. So no matter what is happening right now, God is saying to you that IT IS GOING TO BE OK!
As I close today, let me leave you with some powerful promises from God's Word. They are for YOU today! Read each one, meditate on them, and let them be a reminder to you that no matter what is going on in the world today, no matter what is going on in your life, IT IS GOING TO BE OK!!!
"He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." (Psalms 91:15)
"He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows." (Isaiah 30:23)
"Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence." (Psalms 91:3)
"But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the LORD, because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares." (Jeremiah 30:17)
"You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you." (Isaiah 26:3)
"The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them." (Psalms 34:7)
