What you need to know about Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico! and, The “fake church!”

DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY JUNE 2, 2026

2 Timothy 2:15 tells us to, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." It is critical to study the Word of God so you are able to discern false doctrines and theology that are not in line with the Bible!

What you need to know about Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico. Despite the fact Talarico will take in a minimum of $100 million dollars and potentially as much as $200 million dollars, understand that 80% or more of that money will come from out of the state of Texas. It will be the normal illegal laundering of foreign donations along with typical US hating globalists like George Soros and the Hollywood crowd. One thing we have learned is that money DOES NOT equal winning elections!

The corporate/globalist media will spend the next 5 months lying to the public about who Talarico is and what his policies will be. Sadly, there will be an equal amount of conservative media outlets who are mostly in lockstep with the globalist Republicans like Senate Majority Leader John Thune whining that Texas AG Ken Paxton will have a difficult time beating Talarico, and even if he does it will require tens of millions of dollars that could be spent on other Senate races.

My friend, unless God has another plan we can’t see, Ken Paxton will be the next Senator from Texas and it won’t even be close!!!

In baseball if you get three strikes and you are out. James Talarico has three strikes against him before the race even begins! Strike one, he is an advocate for and committed vegan. That dog may hunt in California, the northeast, or even in the uber liberal Texas capital of Austin that Talarico currently represents in the Texas legislature. However, in Texas where the Longhorn is the state animal a vegan stands out as a pathetic joke! Don’t let the recent ads just released showing Talarico eating a rib with a napkin fool you. In the political world it is called DAMAGE CONTROL!

Strike two, Talarico has a complicated love life for a 37-year-old man who has never had that part of his life investigated. His answers when asked in the past was he had a secret girlfriend who was his rock, yet he always refused to identify her stating a desire to protect her privacy. New Jersey Senator Cory Booker played this game until he decided he wanted to run for President in 2020 when all of a sudden a “girlfriend” appeared. After he dropped out of the race in 2020, so did his “girlfriend.” Now that he is looking to run for President in 2028 he all of sudden Booker gets married. It is called a “beard,” or a person who serves as the romantic partner to conceal the other person’s true sexual orientation.

Out of the clear blue this weekend a woman named Breanna Menard appears as Talarico’s infamous girlfriend. She describes herself as a vegan, a yoga fan, a cat mom, as someone who likes to dance her nights away at Austin gay bars. As a matter of fact the story is Menard met Talarico at an Austin gay bar that hosts drag shows for children! The interesting thing about Talarico is that in previous interviews he made it a point to talk about how much he loved “trans kid,.” how he found them to be special. So I don’t know whether Talarico is a 37-year-old incel, homosexual, or drawn to mentally ill children who don’t know what gender they are. Either way when it comes to his love life, Talarico is the total opposite of a virile 37-year-old Texas man!

No matter how bad strike three may be for a batter, probably swinging at a pitch that is 60 feet, SIX INCHES SHORT OF THE PLATE, is as bad as it gets! Talarico’s strike three is that fact in Texas which is often called the “buckle of the Bible belt,” James Talarico is a fake Christian! A fake Christian is a person who calls themselves a Christian but their beliefs are 100% inconsistent with Biblical Christianity! The foundation of Talarico’s heresy is a Theological Studies degree he received from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary that is a liberal school teaching heretical doctrines that are in opposition to 2,000 years of orthodox Christian theology!

Just like Mormon cult member Glenn Beck is a fake Christian since Mormon theology is in direct opposition to orthodox Christian doctrines, so are Talarico’s beliefs! He believes God is a non-binary being while the Bible clearly teaches God is an infinite, genderless Spirit according to John 4:24. Talarico says the Bible supports the slaughter of innocent babies, suggesting the angel Gabriel asked for Mary’s consent before she conceived, while the Bible views Mary’s submission as an act of worship and regards every life as sacred in the womb from conception dismissing the lie that the Bible supports bodily autonomy.

Talarico claims he has grown in his Christian faith by studying Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism stating these false faiths are “circling the same truth.” During my actual Christian theological studies 35 years ago, I also studied all of the various false religions of the world to understand what they believed. The fact is other than Judaism from which the Christian faith came with the birth of Jesus, the promised Messiah, NONE of the world’s religions are even close to Christian theology. Even Judaism fails after the birth of Jesus since Christianity maintains an exclusivist Doctrine of Salvation claiming that Jesus Christ is the sole mediator between God and mankind as found in John 3:16 and John 14:6.

Lastly, Talarico spews this nonsense that being “Christ-like” is about how people treat others, stating atheists can be more Christ-like than people who have put their faith in Jesus. The Bible teaches that moral behavior flows from a person’s faith in Jesus and that the only requirement for salvation is a personal confession of faith in Jesus, not moral behavior. Speaking of morals, Talarico’s church is St. Andrews Presbyterian in Austin. In their church library you can find books with illustrations of oral sex, masturbation, anal rape, and incest. There are books that claim God is queer, that confuse children as to their gender, and promote political activism for trans kids and LGBTQ Presbyterians. Is you church library up to date with pornographic and anti-Christian books like these?

James Talarico is a non-meat eating, sexually confused, fake Christian running for the Senate in the state of Texas. As much as Democrats have dreamed for over a decade about taking the state of Texas, even if they raise ONE BILLION DOLLARS for Talarico he will lose and lose big!!!

So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, "I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing"—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— Revelation 3:16-17

The “fake church!” 50 years ago, you could walk into virtually any Christian church of any denomination and sing most of the same hymns, pray in the name of Jesus, hear Scripture from the Old and New Testament, a theologically correct sermon, and usually at the end an invitation for non-Believers to make a decision to accept Jesus Christ into your heart and life by faith.

That is NOT the case in 2026. Sadly, FAR FROM IT! Due to the rebellion that infested all of society starting in the mid-60s, along with most major denominations requiring seminary degrees for their pastors, the real start of the apostate church began. Seminaries became more liberal, often denying the very inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture. Of course, once you do that it no longer represents Absolute Truth nor is it our final authority in all matters. It simply become a book of good ideas that you might want to incorporate into your life.

After 5 decades, it is now dangerous to even call a church a church in the Biblical sense. The fastest growing “denomination” is the Metropolitan Community Church. This is a nationwide group of churches where the pastors, men and women, openly, proud and unrepentantly engage in perverted sex with people of the same sex. The majority of the congregations are also men and women in the bondage to same-sex perversions. One of the fastest growing “churches” across the United States today are “churches” that worship satan. This is not a joke, but people who seriously and literally worship satan!

Of course these are horrible extreme examples of some of the churches today. They are a bit obvious. However, what makes up most of the “fake church” in today’s culture, well over 60% of churches proclaiming to be Christian and associated with mainline denominations, are churches where sin such as homosexuality is accepted as a wonderful lifestyle, gay marriage is supported since it is legal, abortion is not murder but a choice a woman has the right to make.

In these churches, sin is rarely spoken of, only good works. Hell is either never mentioned or often spoken of as not a place that really exists. God’s love, mercy, grace, patience, and kindness are extolled, while never mentioning His wrath or judgement. The Bible is used for certain verses, but you are more likely to hear words from other books in most messages.

THERE WILL NOT BE AN INVITATION TO BECOME BORN AGAIN, SINCE THAT WOULD REQUIRE A CONVERSATION ABOUT SIN AND HELL!

This is why I rage about gutless motivational/prosperity/ear-tickling “pastors” who actually brag about not talking of sin or things that might upset people. A recent poll of pastors stated that over 65% refused to talk about controversial issues since it would always bring down the amount of the offering.

IS IT ANY WONDER WHY OVER 60% OF THE CHURCHES TODAY ARE ‘FAKE CHURCHES???”

Most of these churches are made up of a group of people in our nation who call themselves the "religious left." Fifty years ago, this group didn't even exist. They have actually evolved and grown tremendously over the past decade. The "religious left" is made up of people who identify themselves as Christians and hold strong religious beliefs as well as sharing left-wing ideals.

Obviously, this group has risen up in opposition to those who have been tagged the "religious right" or the "Christian right." The "Christian right" is that group of Bible-believing Christians who are politically active and seek to elect to office those candidates who hold to Biblical values on the key spiritual issues of our day that are also political issues.

These would be issues like abortion and life related matters, gay marriage, family issues, the proliferation of the pornography industry, and the drive to remove God from the public square. Those in the "religious left" actually take an anti-Biblical position on these issues and are also heavily involved in the ecumenical movement, environmental issues, opposing war for any reason, world hunger, and social issues like healthcare, immigration, welfare, and education.

There is nothing wrong with pursing these noble social issues, Believers should be more involved on those fronts. The problem with this group is their anti-Biblical position on the key spiritual issues of our day and their involvement in these ecumenical movements that require you to set aside the Absolute Truths of the Bible. Like my dear mother used to tell me, talk is cheap. I can’t know a person’s heart with regard to salvation, that is something only God can know. However, I have every right to judge people on their words and actions in accordance with God's Word.

How can you say you are a person of faith, yet vote to support the legalized slaughter of over 4,000 innocent babies every day? How can you say you are a person of faith, yet vote to redefine God's Holy Institution of Marriage? How can you say you are a person of faith, yet support special rights for people who have chosen to engage in perverted sex acts God calls an abomination, a sin, including their ability to adopt children into their deviant lifestyle?

I guess the real question becomes, what is the faith of those in the religious left really in? It is inconsistent to say you are person of faith yet continually take a stand in complete opposition to God's Word. Jesus said that if you love Me, you will obey Me. That means His Word. Of course, those in the "religious left" has been born out of the liberal "churches" of our day who make a mockery of Christ as they operate in open rebellion to the Truth of the Bible while claiming to be followers of Christ.

I love you and care about you so much. You can no longer just go to a church and assume it is a Bible-teaching, believing Christian church. THE “FAKE CHURCH” IS GROWING EVERY MONTH! It is beyond me how a person can consider themselves a Christian, which means they are a follower of Christ and automatically a follower of His Word, yet take a public position in complete opposition to that Word.

You better wake up, since these people make up the largest growing segment of Christendom, this apostate group who call themselves Christians but go to “fake churches” that operate in complete rebellion to Christ and the Bible!
