***Personal Message For You From Bill Keller***

Thank God today for the gifts and talents He has blessed you with. It is critical that we cover the final $35,000 or our June ministry operations by Friday. I am praying for 1 or 2 friends of Liveprayer who the Lord has blessed with a financial windfall from a real estate sale, the sale of a business, a stock or bitcoin windfall, or just funds you have to invest since there is no better investment than in the eternal souls of men. If God is speaking to you about helping me with a special one-time gift of $35,000, or whatever amount He puts on your heart, know I will be praying for you as you cheerfully and obediently make your sacrifice. Whatever amount the Lord is speaking to you about is precious since God never expects you to give what you don't have, only what you do have and are led and able to share. Thank you and know you are in my prayers as we press on towards the prize each day! Blessings! To give a gift to Liveprayer: http://liveprayer.com/donate.cfm

Please Lord bless me and my family today. Help us to never forget to honor You and praise Your holy name. Thank You for Your blessings. Let us be good stewards of those blessings and never forget to reach out to others and be a blessing to those who cross our path each day. In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!!!

In Mark’s Gospel the question is asked, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lost his own soul?” Over the last decade there has become a new phenomenon of entertainer known “social media influencers.” These people range in age as young as 10 up to those in their 60s, tho the vast majority are between the ages of 15-35. They have a presence on social media platforms like YouTube, X, Facebook, Instagram, top gaming sites, and many other popular social media platforms and have millions of followers, some tens of millions, a few hundreds of millions. They have been able to monetize their followers into millions, even tens of millions of dollars of personal income. While there are both men and women who have become influencers, probably about 70% are females who are usually in their late teens thru their 20s and very attractive. They have gathered these millions of followers based on a wide range of things they do. How to put on make-up, political beliefs, real crime stories, issues involving food, advice on life issues, some sort of special talent, and about anything you can imagine that might get people’s attention. While the majority of these influencers are young, it makes sense that the majority of their followers on these platforms are also young.

I laid this out for you since over the last 5 years I have noticed an alarming number of these influencers who have either died of a drug overdose or committed suicide. In this age of the internet, it has allowed young people to become famous in their slice of the entertainment world and often fabulously wealthy. However, something isn’t adding up. You have younger people with millions of followers, making serious money, yet at the same time you have a growing number of these people who are taking their life. That brings me to the passage from Mark’s Gospel about what does it profit a man to gain the whole world yet lose his own soul. It is a great question. Obviously these influencers who have gained a certain amount of fame and money, have something seriously missing in their lives if they are killing themselves.

I can only share with you that after 33 years of ministry and having dealt with so many people from every walk of life, at every economic level, some of the most troubled have been very successful by the world’s standards with incredible amounts of wealth. There came a time in their life when their success, their wealth, couldn’t help them in dealing with some of the issues of life most face at some point. I am sure that was the same for these young people who chose to take their life. When the real storms of life hit as they will virtually everyone at some point, you quickly realize YOU aren’t enough. Whatever power you might have, whatever financial means you might have, simply can’t help you during life changing events that most will face during their lifetime. There has to be something greater than yourself and of course as Believers we know that is God and our relationship with Jesus that carries us thru those difficult times in life.

Sadly I can imagine that these young people who had it all by the world’s standards came to a place in their life when they realized that wasn’t enough, and without the knowledge of something greater than themselves they listened to the lies of satan and took their life. So sad and why we must be diligent to reach those outside the four walls of the church to help them know there IS something bigger than themselves, God their Creator, and a relationship with Jesus by faith is what will carry them thru anything this world may bring their way.

***August Financial Update***

Thank you to all who have been praying and those able to help me with a gift during July. We ended July still carrying the final $35,000 from our June shortfall and of course the $55,000 we required for our July ministry operations. That is a total of $90,000 to clear up our shortfalls heading into our anniversary month of August. God is able!

26TH ANNIVERSARY MONTH! As we head into August, our 26th anniversary month, please pray about helping me with a special one-time gift of $26, $1 for every year, or $260, $10 for every year, or $2,600, $100 for every year, or $26,000, $1,000 for every year.

The Bible teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some that may be $10 or $20. For others it may be $50 or $100. Still others it may be $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000 or more. God will bless your gift no matter the amount.

Also, don’t forget a gift of $1,800 covers one day of ministry at Liveprayer. I received this email recently, “Pastor Bill, My wife and I have just sold our last rental and God told us to tithe $1,800.00 to pay for a day of your ministry. Not looking for accolades, just that you know when you receive the check. Rest assured that we will still be making our regular weekly tithes."

To give a gift to Liveprayer you can use your major credit card at: http://liveprayer.com/donate.cfm or you can mail your gift to: Liveprayer, 6662 46th Ave. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. All gifts to Liveprayer are 100% tax deductible!

One of the most stupid things we can do in his life is try to negotiate with or talk with Satan. Now I realize many people doubt that there really is a Satan, that he is some mythical character with horns, a red cape, and a pitchfork. Some think that Satan is not real, but what we call the evil side of life, something to blame all of the pain and suffering on.

As in everything, rather than try to sort through what we think Satan is, let's go to the Bible and see who he really is. In Ezekiel chapter 28, we find out that the devil was at one time an angel, with access to the very throne room of God. Isaiah the prophet tells of his fall in chapter 14, after Satan desired the very throne of God and is cast out of Heaven because of pride, taking along 1/3 of the angels who followed him.

A quick side note. Maybe now you can see why pride is so dangerous; it was the original sin in the universe. Satan is intelligent, has a memory, a will, emotions, and great organizational ability.

THE DEVIL HAS READ THE BIBLE!!!

Think about that. If your enemy has read the Bible, how much more do we have to? He is busy. He imitates God, perverts the Word of God, hinders the works of God's servants, blinds men to the Truth, accuses Christians before God, tempts, afflicts, deceives, undermines the sanctity of the home, and tries to disrupt the prayers of God's people. Can you see why he is so dangerous?

However, let me clearly tell you that his powers are limited. He is NOT omnipresent. He cannot be in more than one place at a time. He is NOT omniscient. He does not know everything. He is NOT omnipotent. He is not all powerful. These are only attributes of God himself. Also, and hear this clearly . . . Satan can DO NOTHING apart from God allowing it to happen as in the example of Job.

The good news is that he has already been defeated by Christ. God foretold of Satan's demise even as early as Genesis 3:15. Knowing that prophecy, Satan and his demons must have been rejoicing as Christ took His last breath on the cross. However, their rejoicing turned to terror just 3 days later when Christ rose from the dead. The resurrection of Jesus Christ sealed Satan's doom once and for all.

The Bible tells us that his final destination is the Lake of Fire for eternity. That is why it is so sad to see people reject Christ. They are going to spend eternity in a place that was never created for man, but for Satan and his fallen demons.

My prayer for you today is that you will recognize who your enemy is and stand in the midst of whatever he may try to throw at you. Satan's final resting place will not occur until after the millennium, which is after the 7 year Tribulation, which happens after the Rapture. Until then, we still have to contend with Satan and his hosts. Satan claims authority over this world, which is why he is called the god of this world.

I love you. Satan has the power to blind sinners to the truth, contends for the saints to destroy their lives of service and their testimony. He is a very real foe that we must contend with. That is why the Bible warns us to be self-controlled and alert, to submit to God and resist the devil..to stand firm in the faith. Ephesians 6:11 tells us to "put on the whole armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes." Ephesians 4:27 says " . . . do not give the devil a foothold."

Those who have put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ are protected by His blood. We do not have to live in fear, but in victory. When Jesus was in the wilderness and Satan came to tempt Him, Jesus didn't try to negotiate with him or debate him. He simply stood on the Word of God. Stand on that word today that says "greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world." The best way to deal with Satan is by taking souls on the way to Hell, and reroute them to Heaven.

I love you and care about you. Live in the victory that Jesus Christ has given us each and every day!!!

In His love and service,

Your friend and co-laborer in His work,
