Multiple wars and no good solutions! and, Contentment!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY JUNE 17, 2025

(Philippians 4:11)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Please Lord, give me the strength that when tested, I will not be silent nor will I be afraid to tell YOUR TRUTH! Give me courage, give me strength, and let me stand strong for You no matter what the personal consequences! In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: In the ten years since Donald Trump came down the golden escalator, he is in the most difficult situation he has faced yet during his time in politics. Up until now, Trump’s enemies were always clearly defined. It was always a classic us versus them situation. The battle lines were clearly drawn and it was a simple binary choice for people, they either supported Trump or they supported his enemies. Today Trump is for the first time looking at a split amongst those who support him and is facing incredibly difficult decisions where there is no clear answer. During the height of WW2 you had fighting in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Russia, Northern Africa, and in the Pacific. Today, we have war in Ukraine and Russia, in Israel and Iran that could soon encompass most of the Middle East, with war storms brewing in Asia between China and Taiwan. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE THE MESS BIDEN’S GLOBALIST MASTERS LEFT FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP! With much of the Republicans in the Senate wanting to commit the United States to Ukraine in the ongoing war with Russia, Trump MUST get the votes needed for his Big Beautiful Bill if he is planning on pulling out. The fact is, a complete pull out by the US is likely the most effective way to get rid of our CIA’s puppet Zelenskyy that would provide a real opportunity for peace. As for the war with Israel and Iran, any deal MUST include a complete dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program, something they refuse to do. To date we have played a support role, mostly defensive. However, there is a huge battle underway by half of the Trump coalition to go all in with Israel while the other half wants no involvement at all. This is the first time there has been a real split in the Trump coalition and it is very real. So far, Trump has been sitting back and simply helping Israel fight off the missiles Iran is shooting into civilian population centers in Israel, but he is getting pressure from those who want us to go all in with Israel and those who want us to stay out. In war like in any battles, there is something called the “law of unintended consequences.” While you game plan out the various scenarios the best you can, you never really know until things begin to unfold. Never forget, China is an ally of Iran as is Russia. How do those powers play into future events of this war??? THERE ARE NO EASY ANSWERS AND NOBODY CAN PREDICT HOW THESE EVENTS PLAY OUT! Please pray for President Trump, now more than ever he needs God’s wisdom in these coming days and weeks. His decisions will have a dramatic impact on millions of lives worldwide, most impacted are the lives at stake in these war zones at this very moment! PRAY!

For many, one of the greatest challenges of this life is finding contentment. For those who have bought into the world system, contentment is impossible. The world system teaches that happiness comes with being successful, being on top.

The fallacy of that philosophy is that you are NEVER successful and NEVER on top. There is always someone more successful and there is always another rung on the ladder to climb no matter how high you may get. Chasing the things of this world and finding contentment in the things of this world is impossible because there is always more and always someone ahead of you.

So many reading this devotional today are unhappy, bitter, and in many cases, without any joy or peace in your life because you are trying to find contentment in something that will never offer it to you. It will entice you and make you feel like you are almost there, but then the unquenchable thirst begins and you have to keep chasing . . . chasing . . . chasing until you get to a point you don’t even know what you are chasing any longer.

My friend, there is only one avenue to finding true contentment. That is in your daily relationship with Christ. You see, the short gratification this world can offer you leaves you only wanting more. Your relationship with Jesus give you all you need and then some.

This is a very difficult and involved issue because it is going to require a total re-prioritization of your life. That will take commitment. That will involve a conscious effort on your part to find contentment in something other than what you have been programmed to for most of your life.

It won't be easy, and my main job today is to be a messenger and inform you that there is true contentment in this life, if you are willing to get it. My prayer is that if this is speaking to your heart today, you will make that difficult decision to find the contentment only found in your daily relationship with the Lord.

I love you and care about you and know many are struggling with this issue today. Open your heart and let God speak to you today. It is not an accident you are reading these words. I am praying for you and will stand with you and help any way that I can. Today is the day of decision, so why put it off. Make the choice today and find the true contentment this life can offer.
