DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 19, 2025

***PERSONAL MESSAGE FOR YOU FROM BILL KELLER: Pray daily for the Lord’s protection from fallen nature!

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, please be with the families who have lost loved ones in the recent weather tragedies across our nation, as well as those who have lost their homes, businesses, and have had their lives turned upside down. I ask that You be with them in a special way during this difficult time as You strengthen and comfort them. Guide them through this time of turmoil and give them Your peace and blessings as they move forward. We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus…AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: Pray with me today. Pray for the people in western North Carolina who are still suffering 5 months later from the aftermath of the hurricane that his that region and the lack of government help. Pray for the people of Kentucky who were affected by the floods this past weekend. 9 known dead, tens of thousands without power, an area that needs a full of government response. Pray for the 80 people involved in the Delta Airlines plane that skidded down a runway in Toronto, Canada yesterday with the wing being taken off and ending up on fire upside down. Miraculously, as of today there was no loss of life, with 19 hospitalized so pray for their healing. Lastly keep praying for the people in Los Angeles who had their lives turned upside down due to the massive fires 6 weeks ago. Thousands lost everything and it will be many years before life resumes to any sense of normality. Lift up these dear souls, the families who have lost loved ones, people who need the Lord’s healing touch, and the tens of thousands who need to know the Lord’s strength and peace as they rebuild their lives. GOOD IS ABLE!!!

**FEBRUARY FINANCIAL UPDATE: After covering the balance of our 2024 shortfall in the first week of January, we ended January with a shortfall of $35,000. As of today that shortfall is now down to the final $10,000. I am praying that we can clear up the balance of January in the next week so we can begin work on the $55,000 we require for our February ministry operation. That is $65,000 to end February with everything current. OUR GOD IS ABLE!!!

The Bible teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some that may be $10 or $20. For others it may be $50 or $100. Still others it may be $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000 or more. GOD WILL BLESS YOUR GIFT NO MATTER WHAT THE AMOUNT!!!

The fall of nature. One of the questions I get very often is why God allows tornadoes, hurricanes, lightning, typhoons, floods, earthquakes, and other acts of nature that destroy billions of dollars of resources each year globally, and take thousands of lives. I have received many such emails in the past weeks after the winter tornadoes, floods, and other weather upheavals that have devastated so many across our nation. An understanding of this requires an understanding of the consequences of man's original sin in the Garden of Eden. As I have shared on many occasions, man was created to live and never die. He was placed in a perfect environment, free of germs, disease, and the acts of nature that we have in our world today.

At the time God created this environment we lived in, there were NO tornadoes, hurricanes, lightning, typhoons, floods, earthquakes, or other acts of destruction by nature. These acts of nature are often referred to now as acts of God. That is a very misleading statement. God does allow these acts of nature to occur but these were NOT His intended actions for the environment He created man to live in. A consequence of the fall of man due to sin, was a fall of his environment.

The good news however, is found in Isaiah 35 where it speaks of the restoration of nature to its pristine condition and beauty. Adam and Eve were thrown out of the Garden of Eden and forced to make their way in this now fallen creation. They were created to live in a beautiful and perfect environment. Now they and their ancestors would have to get along in an imperfect and hostile one. However, there will come a day very soon, when Christ shall return, in a twinkling of an eye, and wipe out all sin from this world. Nature will once again be restored to its perfect beauty and free of the destructive acts we face today.

As you know, one of my goals each day is to take our unseen faith, and translate it into the very real world we live in today. I do my best daily to make our faith come alive, real, and practical in the day to day lives we lead. Understanding that nature has fallen just like man, and that due to its fallen state is capable of great destruction, we must use every tool God has given us to protect ourselves. God has given man great wisdom over the years in the ability to predict and follow the patterns of weather that can lead to destruction and loss of life. While we cannot stop these acts of nature, we can be prepared for them.

I love you and care about you so much. While we cannot change the fact our environment has been cursed by sin, we can use God-given tools to help us be aware of the potential dangers from fallen nature. I pray today that you will take advantage of the incredible free resource to help you and your family be safe. God has much work for each of us to do in these last days, and helping us be aware of, and not fall into the traps of sin this world is infested with, is part of what He has called me to do. While nature has fallen from its created perfection just as man has, one day both will be restored to its original beauty and glory!
