DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY MARCH 13, 2023
***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, I have strayed from You and want to come home. I have allowed the daily life in this world to lead me astray, to allow me to drift from You, and I miss You dear Lord! Today, I recommit my heart and life to You and to serve You. Use me for Your glory Lord. Make my life count for Your Kingdom. Above all, bring to me your PEACE and JOY! Give me the joy of my salvation again as I walk close to You each moment of each day. In Jesus name I pray...AMEN! *Salvation message from Ground Zero: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqZ9oaqJNJg
***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: Whatever you think of “Hanoi” Jane Fonda, at least she is honest. Appearing last week with the disgusting cackling hens on “The View,” the discussion turned to abortion. Fonda dispassionately said politicians who oppose killing innocent babies should be murdered. That comment was even too much for the nasty View women and they tried to sluff off the comment by treating it as a joke. Fonda didn’t join in and made it clear she was NOT joking. For years now I have shared the 3 stages of conflict. The first being debate, the second silencing your opponent, and the third being violence. Debate has LONG been over. We are now in the stages of silence and violence. But nobody should be surprised. You had a young man fly from California to Virginia and show up at the house of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. He was there with the intended purpose of breaking into the Kavanaugh home and murdering the Justice and probably his family as well. Since the overturning of Roe, there have been over 40 incidents around the country of Pro Life Centers and churches being vandalized, and in some cases fire-bombed. OF COURSE THE FBI HAS NOT TAKEN THE TIME OR EFFORT TO BRING ANY OF THOSE RESPONSIBLE TO JUSTICE! So don’t just dismiss Fonda’s statement. SHE IS SERIOUS AND SO ARE MANY OTHERS IN THE BABY KILLING COMMUNITY! IF A PERSON IS SO VOID OF CONSCIENCE THAT THEY CAN ADVOCATE FOR THE KILLING OF INNOCENT BABIES, DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD HESITATE TO ADVOCATE FOR THE KILLING OF AN ADULT WHO STANDS IN THEIR WAY??????

***MARCH FINANCIAL UPDATE: We ended the month of February with a shortfall of $37,000. So far we have covered $17,000 of that leaving the final $20,000. I am praying we can clear up February's balance by Monday so can begin working on the $55,000 we require for our March ministry operations. That is a total of $75,000 by the end of March. OUR GOD IS ABLE!!!
The Bible teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some that may be $10 or $20. For others it may be $50 or $100. Still others it may be $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000 or more. GOD WILL BLESS YOUR GIFT NO MATTER WHAT THE AMOUNT!!!
ALSO, DON'T FORGET A GIFT OF $1,800 COVERS ONE DAY OF MINISTRY AT LIVEPRAYER!!! I received this email recently, “Pastor Bill, My wife and I have just sold our last rental and God told us to tithe $1,800.00 to pay for a day of your ministry. Not looking for accolades, just that you know when you receive the check. Rest assured that we will still be making our regular weekly tithe.”

One of the most encouraging things the Bible teaches us is that God is a God of restoration. The Bible tells us that we all sin and fall short of God's glory, but what happens to us after we sin is what I want to focus on today. One of the most visible sins in the Bible has to be Peter's denial of Christ. After following the Lord, living with Him, seeing the miracles, hearing the teachings, even being so bold to proclaim Jesus to be "the Son of the living God"...this same Peter, in fear of his life, denies even knowing who Jesus is. If the story of Peter ended there, it would indeed be tragic.
However, we see that same Peter, just days later in John chapter 21, being restored to fellowship by Jesus. We then read about that same Peter in the book of Acts becoming a pillar upon which the early church was founded, boldly proclaiming Christ without regard to his own life any longer. The lesson is that in spite of our sin, God is a God of restoration, so that He can use us to fulfill His plan.
After we sin, the most important thing we can do before the restoration process takes place, is to confess our sin and ask God's forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 tells us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. God wants to forgive you! God wants to cleanse you! But you have to make the first move. You have to swallow your pride and admit to God you sinned.
You have to be sick enough of the sin to want to be rid of it. I am not talking about that "morning after" confession either. I am talking about that confession that says I am sorry, and I am ready to walk away from this sin once and for all. We all feel sorry for our sins after we commit them. The issue is whether we are ready to deal with them once and for all, and allow the restoration process to begin. My friend, it is not God holding back that process, it is you. You have to be serious.
Once we make up our mind and decide to make the necessary changes to walk away from our sins, we then confess our sins and repent. We have now opened the door for God to restore us. You see, God never stops having a plan for your life. Don't forget, your purpose is to serve and glorify Him. He desires to restore us to fellowship, not only because He loves us, but because there is still work for us to do.
If you are looking for that peace, that joy, and that abundant life the bible speaks of....I am telling you that you will ONLY find it in a daily, intimate relationship with Christ. You will only find it in a life totally and unconditionally surrendered to Him and His will. You will only find it when you are fulfilling your God-given purpose of serving and glorifying Him with your life.
I love you and care about you so much. Be encouraged today...God is not through using you. He still has a perfect plan and purpose for your life. It is now up to you. Just like He restored Peter, and used Peter in a mighty way, God wants to use you. The only difference between you and Peter is that Peter turned from his sin, repented and confessed his sins to the Lord...thus opening the door to God's forgiveness and restoration.
God loves you so much. Turn from your sin, confess and repent of those sins, and let God restore you today. No matter what you have done, God's grace is sufficient and His love is endless. He wants to say to you, just as He told Peter..."Do you love me?... Feed my sheep."
In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
