Press on!!!

(Philippians 4:12-14)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, help me to focus on the fact that while as a nation and people we operate in a political infrastructure, the answers for our nation are not political but spiritual! Only through the Gospel transforming lives can this nation once again rise up and be the GOD BLESSED land we once were. Help us Lord to not be distracted by the “noise” of the political world, but stay focused on the one and only answer for our land, turning back to Almighty God and HIS Truth!!! In the name of Jesus…AMEN!!!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: If you doubt God is pouring out his judgment on our land, please stop doubting. If this was not God’s judgment, the Chinese flu outbreak would be over by now as the Swine Flu, Ebola, and many other recent outbreaks came and went quickly without much damage. However, none of these were as infectious as the current pandemic, keeping it from naturally dying out and sparing any more souls in the vulnerable population all of these viruses are most deadly to...the elderly with pre-existing health issues. In addition, we have racial tensions that have been manufactured and used for profit. We have evil groups who wish to see our nation destroyed that have risen out of the shadows and are actively pursuing their anarchist agenda. A byproduct of the Chinese flu outbreak has been economic pain for millions of people. Currently, half of our churches have been shuttered for the past 6 months with no sign of opening anytime soon! On top of everything else, our President and First Lady are both currently battling the Chinese flu! THIS IS WHAT A NATION WHO HAS REJECTED GOD AND HIS TRUTH LOOKS LIKE!!! TURNING THE NATION BACK TO GOD AND HIS TRUTH, A NECESSITY I HAVE CONSISTENTLY WARNED ABOUT FOR OVER 21 YEARS NOW, IS NOW NECESSARY NOT TO PREVENT GOD’S JUDGMENT FROM FALLING, BUT STOPPING IT!!! We have our work cut out for us my friend, but God’s people have always risen to the task, and now it is out turn at this moment in human history to take our stand for Christ and our faith! Please pray for the Lord’s healing in the bodies of President Trump and First Lady Melania, as well as all of those in our nation and around the world fighting this evil scourge. Also, be praying for the Lord to prepare your heart, as very soon it will be time for His children to ACT if we are to save this precious land we all love!!!

***Action steps: 1) Pray for the nation to turn back to the Lord every morning for at least 5 min. 2) Share the Gospel every day with at least 1 person you know is no saved. 3) Every day share something Biblical with everyone you know via email. 4) Every day encourage at least ONE PERSON you know about the responsibility we have to VOTE in November. 5) GET ONE PERSON YOU KNOW TO DO ACTION STEPS 1-4!!!

Pressing on. A very simple, but POWERFUL word for you today!!! Some days when you wake up, you just don't feel like fighting any longer. You are tired of the battles, tired of the struggles, with no desire to keep fighting. Paul in his letter to the church at Philippi, gives us some great daily advice. He says, "Forgetting what is behind, and straining toward what is ahead."

How often are we weary and tired because we are still looking at the past? Allowing those past problems and situations to hold us down today. Listen, what is past is past. The enemy wants to hold you back by keeping you focused on the past. I am telling you today to let it go and live for today. Focus on today and tomorrow, not yesterday.

So many I deal with every day are in a pit of quicksand called "yesterday’s problems". First of all, whatever those problems are, it is time to turn them over to God and start living for today. Most of what is going on isn't going to be fixed quickly, isn't going to have an overnight answer, and is going to take a power much greater than yourself to fix. After all, if you could fix it, you would have already.

Turn it over to God. Does that make it go away magically? No. But it does put it in the hands of our Lord who can start working it through and getting you beyond those circumstances.

In the meantime, you have today in front of you. Tomorrow on the horizon. Get out of the quicksand of yesterday, and start living for Him today. You will be surprised how much quicker and easier your past problems work out when you are concentrating on serving the Lord today.

I understand that there are many complicated and difficult situations many of you are facing today. I am not trying to minimize those in any way. I am encouraging you to quit focusing so much on the problems of yesterday, and start making the most of your opportunities today, looking towards the challenges of tomorrow. Looking back can paralyze you, looking forward can energize you.

I love you and care about you so much. I am praying for you. Be blessed this day, and take the challenge to leave the past behind, and push forward, onto the prize!
