Daily Devotional for Saturday September 26, 2020

The coming visitation of raw evil on Judge Amy Coney Barrett!!!

(Micah 7:2; 2 Timothy 3:1-2)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, help me to always be prepared to serve You in any way that I can. My life belongs to You. I am ready, willing, and able to answer Your call as I go through my life in these challenging days. Use me for Your glory. I fear not. I am Yours! In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: Ephesian 6:12 tell us, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” This passage refers to the non-stop spiritual battle that is being waged against the forces of satan in the heavenlies. While in our finite minds we could never begin to comprehend such warfare, we do see raw evil manifested in this world all the time. I suggest that every precious baby whose life is taken is an example of raw evil! Well my friend, you are going to get to witness the manifestation of raw evil over the next 30 days. As I shared on my TV program numerous times in the past few years, if Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died while Donald Trump was in office he would most likely nominate Court of Appeals Judge and law professor Amy Coney Barrett. For people who don’t fully comprehend the hatred of Christianity by this lost world, prepare yourself! The irony is this wife, mother of 7, 2 of her children adopted from Haiti, attorney who graduated first in her class at Notre Dame Law School, law professor, and now judge on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, was a liberal judge she would be lionized as the second coming of Ginsburg! However, Barrett is a committed Catholic, staunchly pro-life and pro-Constitution, and thus the worse nightmare of the Democratic Party and those who support their Godless agenda! The forces of evil don’t fear “people of faith” such as Speaker Pelosi and former VP Biden, both who make a mockery of their faith in their support of killing babies and opposing so many other Biblical issues. As I have been warning people, if you think the way Justice Brett Kavanaugh was slandered, slimed, and attempted to be literally destroyed was sad to watch...YOU HAVEN’T SEEN ANYTHING!!! I have tried to explain to people that the animating energy in the upcoming election would be those who worship at the altar of dead babies. With the nomination of Judge Barrett, you will see the manifestation of the raw hatred of Christianity by this lost world. Pray for Judge Barrett and her family. I pray that the sight of such raw evil focused on our faith will challenge you to boldly rise up without fear and take your stand for Christ!!!

***Action steps: 1) Pray for the nation to turn back to the Lord every morning for at least 5 min. 2) Share the Gospel every day with at least 1 person you know is no saved. 3) Every day share something Biblical with everyone you know via email. 4) Every day encourage at least ONE PERSON you know about the responsibility we have to VOTE in November. 5) GET ONE PERSON YOU KNOW TO DO ACTION STEPS 1-4!!!

Most people want to dismiss evil as a fairy tale, but what happened in the United States on 9/11 was an example of evil. A recent home invasion in Washington DC where a father, mother, son, and housekeeper were tortured and killed was an example of evil. The tens of thousands of babies aborted each day worldwide is an example of evil. Islam is an example of evil!

EVIL IS NOT A FANTASY. IT IS REAL. IT IS A SAD PART OF THE HUMAN EXISTENCE!!!

First, understand that God is NOT the author of evil. Evil stems from the rebellious hearts of man. Man has to make choices throughout the day, to either obey God, or rebel against Him. Evil is a manifestation of that rebellion. Those who choose to follow God, make choices that build people up, advance the cause of God on this earth, are positive.

Those who choose to reject God, make choices that destroy people, oppose the plan of God for this world, are negative. To be blunt, those who follow God are good, those who choose to reject God are evil. This may sound harsh, but evil can ONLY come from those who are in rebellion to and reject God!

Satan is the embodiment of evil. He rejected God and was cast out of Heaven, and his entire purpose is to oppose the work of God. Satan is the poster boy for rebellion against God for evil! The simple fact is that any time that you rebel against God in your life, any time that you reject His way, you contribute to the evil that is in this world.

Evil ONLY EXISTS because of the rebellious hearts of man. As hard as this may be to accept, the fact is, every time that you reject God, every time that you choose to ignore God, YOU ARE SIDING WITH SATAN AND ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE EVIL THAT IS IN THIS WORLD!

I love you and care about you so much. The motivation for this Devotional today was the way our society has tried to downplay the existence of evil in our world. The way our society tries to make every excuse in the book to call evil anything but what it truly is…EVIL! The point I want you to understand today is that every time that you rebel against God, every time that you choose to reject God and not follow His way, YOU are contributing to the evil that is in this world.

I pray today that you keep your heart open to the Lord, and His guiding influence in your life. This is why I emphasize so often how important it is to read the Bible each day, since THAT is how we better understand exactly what God expects from us, how He has asked us to live our lives. That way, we can follow Him in all of our choices, and we don't have to be in rebellion. We don't have to contribute to the evil that already is rampant in our world today.

The good news is this. The Bible tells us that in the end, God will wipe out ALL evil from this world. It will no longer be part of this existence. But until this time, we have a responsibility as His children to not only fight against the evil that exists, but to not contribute to it through the choices that we make each day. God is greater than evil, and one day, very soon, He will wipe evil away!!!
