God allows men to rise to power/Being a servant

(John 12:26)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, help me to never forget how each life is from You and precious. In this culture that puts little value on a human life, let ME stand for You and the fact ALL LIFE IS FROM GOD! May I find courage and strength to never waiver or fail to speak up for this most precious of all gifts! In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: The Bible clearly teaches us that it is God who allows men to rise to power and God who takes men out of power! In many cases we will never understand fully why, but the Bible teaches us that God’s ways and thoughts are much higher than ours. If you don’t believe this truth that God is the one, you should. In 2016 a businessman/entertainer/cultural figure named Donald Trump became the first President of the United States who had never help any elected office in his life nor had a military career. He defeated a woman who regardless what you think of her, was the First Lady of Arkansas two times, First Lady of the United States for 8 years, a US Senator, and the US Secretary of State. Every political expert and pollster right up to the day of the election predicted she would easily win the Presidency. God, for whatever reason, obviously had other plans!

On November 3rd, God once again will decide who will lead this nation for the next 4 years. I can assure you today, that if President Trump is re-elected it will actually be even more amazing than his first victory. In following politics for the past 52 years, I have NEVER seen the number of high profile people from the incumbent President’s party raising hundreds of millions of dollars and operating scorched earth operations to defeat their parties incumbent to help elect the nominee of the other party. This comes after the entire corporate owned legacy media for 4 years has spent 24/7 in negative coverage of the President and his administration, much of the coverage being deceptive and outright lies. Since his victory in 2016, the social media giants have been operating a consistent campaign to block and censor a large percentage of content in support of the President and his administration, efforts that will no doubt continue thru election this November.

That all has been in addition to President Obama and his top people in the West Wing, FBI, CIA, and Intel communities spying on the future President during the campaign and continuing thru the transition up to inauguration day. Those illegal efforts gave way to an all-out 2 year Special Counsel investigation into what was proven to be non-existent collusion with Russian during the election. That was followed by nearly a year of impeachment proceedings initiated by a bogus whistleblower complaint from a John Brennan protégé and aggressively pushed through by Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, and Gerald Nadler changing House rules. Due to the non-existent facts to support the articles of impeachment, that effort ended with acquittal in the Senate.

As impeachment was in the final stages, the nation gets hit by a generations worldwide Chinese Flu pandemic that has not only taken 117,000 lives to date (95% over 67, 98% with pre-existing medical issues, 45% in nursing homes primarily in NY, NJ, Mi, Pa, and Ca), but for the first time in our nation’s history we literally shut down the economy. Over the first 3 years of this administration, the stock market had hit hundreds of record highs, unemployment for ALL sectors were at historic lows, and more people were working than at any point in the nation’s history. That historic economy was literally shut down leaving 40 million people out of work and costing well over 1 trillion dollars!

Lastly, the race hustle industry used a horrible video of a white police officer using excessive force causing the death of a black suspect to incite hundreds of thousands of people nationwide (most who had been sheltered at home for months) to protest against racism and the police, some using the opportunity to riot, loot, destroy property, and even kill people. This also provided the perfect cover for Marxists, Socialists, Communists, and Anarchists to push their American-hating message into the ether in an attempt to weaken and destroy the nation. Despite all of that, the Trump Administration has achieved incredible victories in the economy, immigration, religious liberties and the life issue, African American issues, and never-ending foreign policy challenges. My friend, if after all of this President Trump is re-elected, that will happen ONLY because it is God’s plan!!!

As always, our example on how we are to live this life comes from Jesus. One of the most powerful lessons He taught during His earthly ministry was that He came to serve others, NOT be served. One of the things that I vowed to God when I started Liveprayer.com 21 years ago, was that I would be a servant, that I would freely give of all that I had to meet the needs of the hurting and the lost of this world using this incredible technology. I believe in my heart that one reason God has had His hand on this ministry and has helped it reach so many, is because I have been faithful to that vow.

There is NO other Internet ministry of our size that literally responds in a personal way to every incoming email. I have assembled an incredible team of over 700 retired pastors nationwide that help me make this happen. Between the Daily Devotional I write each morning, the 40,000 plus personal responses to incoming emails that go out daily. Everything we do is geared to sharing the hope and love of Jesus Christ in a very personal way with people worldwide.

I personally still answer 100 or so of the incoming emails myself each day. Why? Sure, I could have my team do it, but I want in on the action! This is what God has called me to do with my life. I want to be a servant like Jesus was a servant! I don't ever want to get removed from the hurts and pains of the people we minister to each day.

For many years I was involved in a large way in the Christian television world. I have to admit that I was a bit shocked at how some of the men and women God has so richly blessed have it upside down. Jesus said He came to serve others, NOT be served. Yet so many of our Christian leaders seem to have forgotten this.

Being the recipient of numerous death threats a month, I understand how those high profile people need to be sensitive to security needs. But the entourages, the opulence, make these people of God look more like visiting royalty than servants of God. Some pastors are harder to get on the phone than the President. Again, I understand the need for order and the incredible responsibilities some of these men and women of God have, but we are to be servants first and can never lose sight of that!

I love you and care about you so much. You are the reason I am here each day. Your needs, your concerns, your hurts, your pains. That is why Liveprayer is here. While I have tremendous responsibilities in the daily operations of this ministry, I don't ever want to forget that my number one responsibility is to be a servant.

I pray in the coming weeks and months, should Jesus tarry, that I can continue to faithfully serve you and stand with you in an even more of an intimate way for those needs that you have in your life. I never want to lose sight that just as Jesus came to serve, not be served, so are those who have been called into full-time ministry. We are to be servants first. Our needs come second to the needs of those God has called us to minister to.

I pray today that my service to Him will be pleasing and acceptable in His sight! After all, the words all of God's children should yearn to hear are, "well done, thou good and faithful....SERVANT" !!!!!!!
