Are you prepared for God to bless you above and beyond all you can ask or think?

(Deuteronomy 8:18)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, guide my steps today. Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet. Give me Your favor, wisdom, and blessings as my day unfolds. Let Your blessings be multiplied many times over in my life today. You and You alone are the giver of all good and perfect things. You oh Lord are my Supplier. Pour out the riches of Heaven upon me this day as I obediently and faithfully follow You! In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!!!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: Why isn’t God ending this? I am oft reminded of Isaiah 55:8,9, usually many times each day! The prophet writes, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Countless prayers of the faithful are going up from all over the world to the heavens regarding the Chinese Flu. God could simply blow warm air across the globe and kill this virus. So why doesn’t He? Maybe a better question is why did He allow this to occur in the first place? Theologically the answer is simple. We live in a fallen environment, a byproduct of man’s fall in the Garden of Eden. There was no disease or any type of virus in God’s original creation. They became part of man’s short life due to his sin destroying that perfect environment God had created for him to dwell in. Practically, I am afraid we are back to Isaiah 55:8,9. From the start, I have stated that I believe this is a huge WARNING from God for this nation as well as the other nations around the world to turn back to God and His Truth. I am certain the United States will this time, but sadly after a little more than 3 months my original question still remains....will we hear God and respond? I fear there will not be any more warnings!!!

Are you prepared for God to bless you above and beyond all you can ask or think? Being born in 1958, I have seen numerous times in my lifetime the nation go through periods of financial upheaval. We had skyrocketing interest rates in the late 70s. In early 2000 the Internet bubble burst causing another time of financial distress for millions of people. Perhaps our worst financial crisis occurred in 2008 when the housing market crashed that reverberated throughout our economy and the economies around the world.

NONE OF THESE EVENTS REMOTELY COMPARE TO THE CRISIS WE ARE IN TODAY AS I TYPE THESE WORDS. IT IS NOT HYPERBOLE TO STATE THAT WE ARE IN A CRISIS ONLY RIVALED IN US HISTORY BY THE GREAT DEPRESSION THAT BEGAN IN 1929!!!

THE ECONOMIC DISASTER WE ARE FACED WITH TODAY LITERALLY AFFECTS EVERY MAN, WOMAN, AND CHILD IN THIS NATION IN SOME WAY. IT HAS BEEN VISITED UPON THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN. SADLY, TENS OF MILLIONS OF OUR FELLOW CITIZENS WILL BE DEALING WITH ECONOMIC RUIN!!!

Having the benefit of having lived 62 years on this earth, making millions of dollars in the business world while running from God for a decade in my 20s, I can testify this day that it is God who gives man the ability to create wealth in this life. Deuteronomy 8:18 tells us, “ But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.”

I want to give you a word of encouragement today. If God has spared you and your family from the financial upheaval we are experiencing due to the Chinese Flu pandemic, give Him the thanks He deserves for protecting you. The Lord has shielded you and your family and will continue to give you His wisdom and favor each day as you are a good steward over what He has entrusted into your care.

For my friends who are out of work today or your employment is tenuous, FEAR NOT! It is God who will plant you where He wants you for this season and in seasons to come. Pray each day that the Lord will guide your steps as He opens and closes doors in your life so you are right where HE wants you to be. The Lord knows you have needs each day in this life and He will open doors of employment to help you meet those needs!

Remember, Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." The original Greek of this verse says that our number one goal in life is to be a member of God's Kingdom and be perfectly holy, in God's sight, just as He is. WOW! That is powerful and puts in perfect perspective what our true goals in this life are-to be a member of God's Kingdom and be perfectly holy in God's sight.

However, tying into today's message on finances is an incredible truth from God's Word found in this verse that many people miss and never connect. The end of Matthew 6:33 says, " . . . and all these things will be given to you as well." What things? The necessities of life that were spoken about in the preceding verses, food, shelter, and clothing. What God is saying is that if you will seek Me, seek My Kingdom, seek My righteousness, I'm going to take care of your day-to-day necessities of life. God is saying to you today,"Be about My business and I'll be about your business."

For my friends who have lost their business due to this crisis, the same God who gave you the favor to start and succeed in your previous business, is the same God who will give you the favor to succeed in your new business! The same wisdom He provided before will be provided again. Trust Him! You didn’t succeed before by accident and you won’t succeed in the future by accident. It will be your hard work as God guides you each step of the way!!!

Listen, this is the United States of America, the land of the free and the home of the brave! This is the land of opportunity where the “American Dream” still rules and reigns the day! Yes, apx. 40 million of our fellow citizens may be out of work today, but WATCH this nation come roaring back!

Shutting down overnight the greatest economy in world history with more people working than ever before in history, and re-starting it 7-8 weeks later is like cutting Samson’s hair. WE KNOW AS TIME WENT ON SAMSON’S STRENGTH RETURNED AND SO WILL THE ECONOMY OF THE UNITED STATES!!!

We are a nation of entrepreneurs and hard workers, and every time we have had an economic downturn for whatever reason we have come roaring back. THE PEOPLE OF THE US WILL COME ROARING BACK ONCE AGAIN!!! IF YOU ARE DOWN TODAY, YOU WILL COME ROARING BACK TOMORROW!!!

I love you and care about you so much. I want to encourage you and pray for you today. For those of you who God has blessed financially, never forget that to whom much is given, much is required. For those of you who are facing great financial obstacles in your life today, now is the time to make your faith real and trust that God will provide as He promised in His Word. Even if you don't have great financial wealth, you are still accountable to God for what He does bring into your hands, so be faithful with what He provides.

Whatever we have in this life has been given to us by God and belongs to Him. We are simply stewards of what He has put into our care. I pray that you will seek the Lord and get His wisdom and discernment in how you can always be a good steward of the resources that He has entrusted to you. God wants to use you regardless of the amount of money you have to be a blessing to others.

The Bible has much to say about the care of the poor. We immediately think of the poor as being those who have no money, but this also includes the spiritually poor, those people who are living without the hope and love of Christ in their life. Everyone can do something with what God has given you to be a blessing to those who are financially poor as well as those who are spiritually poor!

I want to leave you with a special prayer of blessing over your finances. "Father, I pray, today, for each person who is reading these words. You know exactly where they are at today financially. I pray that whatever they have today is multiplied many times over in the coming weeks and months. Bless them in the area of their finances, Father, so that they may not only care for their day-to-day needs of those they are responsible for, but so that they may feed the poor around the world, those who are materially poor as well as those who are spiritually poor. I pray, today, a prayer of BLESSING on the finances of the person reading these words. Whatever we have in this life comes from you and is yours Father. May we be faithful in managing what you have given to us. Multiply many times over what you have currently given to the person reading this word today and allow them to be a great blessing to the work of God throughout the world. I pray BLESSINGS over the finances of the person reading these words today for the glory of Almighty God. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
