Daily Devotional for Friday April 24, 2020

THE HOPE WE HAVE IN NINEVEH!!!

(Jonah 3:3-10, Jeremiah 15:16)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, I ask You today to open my heart and my Spirit to receive what You have for me today. Let me hear Your voice clearly and obediently follow You. Use me oh Lord, for Your glory and to advance Your Kingdom! In the name of Jesus...AMEN!!!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: The false religion of Islam began the month of Ramadan Thursday night and ends on May 23rd. In the past month we have watched our churches ordered to be shuttered by state governors and local officials around the nation due to the pandemic, in blatant violation of the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution. Those churches who refused to be bullied have had pastors and congregants harassed, fined, and even arrested! Some local authorities have went so far to violate the law by padlocking the doors of churches to prevent them from meeting. Some churches got creative and decided to hold their services in large parking areas with the people remaining in their cars. Even these gatherings were often met by local police harassment, and in one Easter morning service the entrance to the parking lot was laced with hundreds of nails! I will be very interested in seeing over the course of the next month what kind of official response there will be at mosques who refuse to obey the shutdown orders and meet during Ramadan. My guess is nothing. Local authorities will simply look the other way. I may be 100% wrong, and I hope I am since Muslims in the US enjoy the same Constitutional rights to worship as Christians and ALL FAITHS do, but it will be interesting to see.

THE HOPE WE HAVE IN NINEVEH!!!

Jonah obeyed the word of the Lord and went to Nineveh. Now Nineveh was a very large city; it took three days to go through it. Jonah began by going a day's journey into the city, proclaiming, "Forty more days and Nineveh will be overthrown." The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth. When Jonah's warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust. This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh: "By the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink. But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish." When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened. Jonah 3:3-10

GOD HAS TOLD HIS SERVANT BILL KELLER, "THE GOOD NEWS I HAVE FOR YOU THIS DAY IS THAT MY PEOPLE IN THIS LAND I HAVE SO RICHLY BLESSED WILL RISE UP ONE LAST TIME. WHILE MY WRATH AND JUDGMENT IS BEING POURED OUT ON THIS WICKED NATION, MORE AND MORE EACH DAY, IT WILL BE UNDER THE WEIGHT OF THAT WRATH AND JUDGMENT THE PEOPLE WILL RESPOND LIKE THE PEOPLE OF NINEVEH. THEY WILL GET ON THEIR KNEES, PUT ON SACKCLOTH AND ASHES, REPENT OF THEIR SINS, AND TURN BACK TO THEIR CREATOR AND MY TRUTH! THERE WILL BE A SEASON WHEN MY WRATH AND JUDGMENT WILL CEASE AND A GREAT HARVEST OF SOULS WILL BE WON TO MY KINGDOM!" THUS SAYETH THE LORD GOD.

Is it any coincidence that Biblical Nineveh is modern day Mosul in Iraq which was the headquarters of ISIS? THE UNITED STATES LED THE WAY TO LIBERATE THIS CITY FROM ISIS!!!

For those Liveprayer old timers, you know I have been warning people about God’s wrath and judgment falling on the United States. If God spared not His judgment on His own chosen people, how arrogant are we to think He would spare us?

After seeing God's warning being poured out on the United States and the world over the past few months, we are literally at the crossroads of inviting God's ultimate judgment or turning back to our Creator and His Truth!

The hope we have lies in Nineveh!!! The Bible teaches that God is no respecter of person, and what He did for someone else He will do for you!!!

Nineveh was a wicked, secular people, yet when faced with the warning from God's prophet of their ultimate destruction, repented turned to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and one of the greatest revivals in human history occurred and God's hand of judgment was stayed for a season while over 120,000 were saved!!!

I BELIEVE WE WILL SEE A TRUE REVIVAL BREAK OUT THROUGHOUT THE NATION AS WE BEGIN TO TURN BACK TO GOD AND HIS TRUTH. PREPARE YOURSELF MY FRIEND, AS THE UNITED STATES EXPERIENCES A "NINEVEH MOMENT" AND SEE A MIGHTY HARVEST OF SOULS COME INTO THE KINGDOM AND GOD'S HAND OF JUDGMENT STAYED FOR A SEASON!!!

I love you and care about you so much. Our time is very short. Our only hope as a nation is to turn back to God and His Truth. The eternal souls of men are at stake. This nation, like Nineveh, will ultimately be destroyed for our sins and wickedness if we choose to stay in our sin and rebellion. However, there is coming a season of repentance and a mighty harvest of souls that will be won to faith in Christ!!!

MY FRIEND, GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSON, AND WHAT HAPPENED IN NINEVEH 2800 YEARS AGO...WILL HAPPEN TODAY IN THE UNITED STATES!!!
