Daily Devotional for Monday March 30, 2020

THIS IS A WARNING, THERE WON’T BE ANOTHER CHANCE AFTER THIS ONE!!!

(Deuteronomy 8:17-20)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Oh Lord, may we turn to You today, not to ask for anything but to apologize! We apologize for rejecting You each day. We apologize for choosing to live in rebellion to You and Your Word. We apologize for replacing You with the false gods of this evil world, worshipping them instead. We apologize for embracing every sin we possibly can as we forsake Your Truth. Oh Lord, we deserve nothing but Your wrath and judgment and have NO RIGHT to even ask for mercy! If oh Lord you spare our land this time, please let us turn back to You and Your Truth or we will face certain destruction. In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!!!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: Remember good old Virginia governor Ralph “if a baby survives a botched abortion wrap ‘it’ in a blanket, make ‘it’ comfortable, talk to the mother, than finish the job” Northam? He is the governor they were going to run out of office for racism after it was discovered he wore “black face” multiple times over the years. Well, it appears his deal to stay in office was to be a puppet to push the most aggressive progressive agenda possible, much of that agenda being unConstitutional! We have talked about his push to destroy the 2nd Amendment. Here is Gov. Ralph’s latest edict, using the current healthcare crisis to justify what he is doing. He has ordered that there be NO church services, since they are not essential, and if people violate his order they can be fined $2,500 and face up to 12 months in jail. Meanwhile, “essential” businesses like liquor stores and ABORTION CLINICS are free to keep on with business as normal.

Remember just this past Friday in this space I proffered a Chinese-style persecution of Christians and actually closing down churches? As expected, I received tons of emails telling me I was being foolish to suggest such a thing. Hmmmm. $2,500 and a year in jail...sound familiar???

“You may say to yourself, ‘My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.’ But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. Like the nations the LORD destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the LORD your God.” Deuteronomy 8:17-20

THIS IS A WARNING, THERE WON’T BE ANOTHER CHANCE AFTER THIS ONE!!! Over the past 21 years of Liveprayer, no doubt the most frustrating thing for me personally has been warning the people that if we don’t turn our hearts and lives back to God, repent of our sins, live by His Word, than we will experience the full wrath and judgment of Almighty God and this nation as we know it will be finished!!! How arrogant of us to think that God, who spared not His wrath and judgment on His own children, would spare us!!!

I understand the problem. The events of the Bible were thousands of years ago. We have more recent examples of God taking out nations for their sin and rebellion, but again, that was in the past and it would never happen to the United States of America! I love my brothers and sisters in the prophecy world, but I am sorry, THE UNITED STATES IS NOT IN THE BIBLE NO MATTER HOW MANY PASSAGES YOU WANT TO TWIST TO SAY IT IS!!!

Look at the OT prophets. They actually should have had an easier job selling the people that God’s wrath and judgment will come upon them since it had happened to recent generations. Yet, the people still ignored them. The politicians of the day were busy playing their games of power and greed. Sound familiar? The religious leaders of the day were busy playing THEIR games of power and greed. SOUND FAMILIAR? Meanwhile, the people were busy worshipping the false gods of the world and living in rebellion to God’s plan for their lives. AGAIN, SOUND FAMILIAR???

Let me try to share this in a way that is easy to understand. All of a sudden, one day you have a heart attack. It is a bad one but you survive. As you are being released from the hospital, your doctor sits you down and explains to you that you MUST change your diet. You must get on an exercise routine. You have to make major lifestyle changes or you will get another heart attack and you won’t survive the next one!

An alcoholic is in the hospital because their liver is damaged. Their kidney’s aren’t fully functional. They have lots of serious internal issues, however, they are going to live. As they are being released from the hospital, the doctor sits down with this patient and lays out the meds they need to take in order to keep their internal organs functioning properly. The doctor than states that there is one critical issue that must be addressed. IF YOU EVER TAKE ANOTHER DRINK YOU WILL DIE!

My dear mother was born in 1928 and grew up in a time when smoking was acceptable and part of life. She actually enjoyed her cigarettes as many in that era did, and sadly, many still do today. In 1992, at 64, her doctors told her she had the onset of emphysema and that if she continued to smoke it would eventually kill her. My mother loved her cigarettes and made the CHOICE that she WAS NOT going to stop smoking. On December 23rd of 1998, she had a cigarette mid-morning, around noon she died. As the doctor has warned her, she died from emphysema.

As those who have followed Liveprayer for any length of time knows, I am the most positive person in the world. How can a follower of Jesus Christ be anything else? Part of being positive tho, means dealing with reality. The reality is for the 21 years of Liveprayer, the culture around us has been deteriorating. That deterioration has been due to the people rejecting God and Biblical Truth. The further the people have gotten from God and His Truth, the faster the cultural deterioration has been.

The only answer is to turn back to God and His Truth! That is why I have railed against the gutless pastors of our day, the Christian TV prosperity pimps who are nothing but the Eli’s of our day, since they are the ones who have been called to lead the nation spiritually but are too busy building their own kingdoms to care about God’s Kingdom! These are the ones who have been called by God in our day to lead the people spiritually, but are too busy identifying people as “giving units” instead of eternal souls Jesus died for!!!

THE BIBLE TALKS ABOUT A DOUBLE JUDGEMENT FOR THOSE WHO LEAD GOD’S PEOPLE. THE SAME GOD WHO JUDGED THE FAILED SPIRITUAL LEADERS DURING BIBLICAL TIMES, IS THE SAME GOD WHO WILL JUDGE THE FAILED SPIRITUAL LEADERS OF TODAY!!!

I love and care about you so much! I told you 3 weeks ago, this is NOT God’s final wrath and judgement being poured out on our nation. This IS a huge wake-up call. If you ever doubted how life as we know it can be over very quickly, look at where we were as a nation just one month ago! DO YOU BELIEVE ME NOW? GOD CAN...AND WILL...DESTROY THIS NATION IF WE DON’T HEED THIS WARNING!

As I told you, this is the week we will start to see the wheels start to slowly move the nation back to what we were just a month ago. It is NOT going to be like turning on a light switch, but the movement will be evident and over the coming weeks life as we knew it will begin to re-emerge. The financial markets have already begun to rebound a bit, and by the end of May, early June, will be back in the neighborhood of where they were prior to selling off of apx. 1/3 of their value.

BY SEPTEMBER, THE NATION WILL BE BACK TO WHAT WE KNEW OF AS NORMALCY EVEN THOUGH THERE WILL STILL BE LINGERING VESTIGES OF THIS TIME WE ARE LIVING THROUGH. WHEN YOU HAVE THAT HEART ATTACK I SPOKE OF EARLIER, 6 MONTHS LATER YOU FEEL FINE AGAIN. HOWEVER, EVERY TIME YOU TAKE A SHOWER YOU SEE THE SCAR THAT REMINDS YOU OF YOUR HEART ATTACK! IT WILL ALWAYS BE THERE AS A REMINDER!

My prayer today is that as the nation recovers from this warning from God Himself, we will get on our knees, repent of our sins, re-dedicate our lives to God our Creator, and begin to live according to the Truth of His Word. As I have so often shared with you, we will either be like the people of Nineveh, who when confronted with the wrath and judgment of God asked the Almighty to forgive them of their sins and dedicated their life to Him, or, we will be like the children of Israel who so many times rejected the warnings of the prophets and experienced God’s wrath and judgment.

Who will we be like in the coming months?
