Will you obey God when He speaks to you?

(Ecclesiastes 5:1)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Father, I know this is an evil and sin-filled world I live in. Please, protect me, but don't let me be afraid. Let me be bold in declaring Your Truth to this lost world and not be afraid to speak up. Now more than ever I need Your strength to be the servant You have called me to be. Help me, strengthen me, and guide me to do Thy will. In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: When this health crisis is in the rear-view mirror in a few months and we are back living our normal daily lives again, here is what you will soon realize that has changed! The battles over opening our borders to anyone, being soft on crime, trying to infringe on your 2nd Amendment rights, and the lust for killing babies and old people (euthanasia) will continue in full force. However, a battle that will be lost in all of this is Chinese-style surveillance! If you remember, 6 months ago I was telling you about how you already have a “social credit score” whether you realize it or not! There are various data bases being collected 24/7 that can pretty much trace your every movement. The number one instrument to do this is your phone, something the VAST majority of people have with them all the times. RIGHT? Between your cell phone carrier, the various apps you have, your search history, it is easy to track you. Add to that ANY sort of internet connected device in your home be it Alexa, Ring, a SmarTV, anything, and it only adds another layer of your movements. Of course once you are in public there are cameras on most every street corner, in most businesses, everywhere, to once again add an additional layer to your movements. So even without the excuse of a health crisis, total surveillance of virtually every person is now here to stay. While that may not be a big issue for most, I will simply leave you with this thought. What happens when we get a government that say wants to close down the churches and persecute Christians like China is doing. I know...”we’re not China, and that would never happen here in the US!” We’re not China...today. However, we currently aren’t being allowed to go to church under the excuse of this health crisis. Possibly tomorrow it is another “crisis.” Those who don’t follow the government mandate might be jailed. Pastors might be accused of subverting the government, beaten, and imprisoned for many years. Can’t happen? A month ago did you think you would be quarantined to your home with most of the businesses in the country closed down? Again, a month ago did you ever think of all things you would be ORDERED BY GOVERNMENT that you can’t go to church?

Hearing what God Has to Say can be One of the Most Difficult Things we do Each Day In some cases, we "just know" and in others we just aren't really sure. When we "just know," we need to boldly move ahead. When we aren't really sure, we need to be patient, because He will always send us confirmation.

When God gave me the vision for Liveprayer.com over 21 years ago, it was one of those "just know" messages. Having enjoyed great success over many years prior to starting Liveprayer.com, my life and ministry was going very well. But despite things going so smooth, I knew deep down I was on cruise control and God wanted more from my life.

I have to be honest with you and share that I originally put God on hold about Liveprayer.com. After doing the initial research, doing what God was asking me to do was going to require several hundred thousand dollars to launch and sustain AND a huge commitment of my time. For both reasons, I started to find excuses not to move forward.

Then one night, I was reading about Jesus calling His disciples from their lives to follow Him. The Holy Spirit told me that what I was reading about were the ones that responded to the call. What was NOT in the Bible were the ones who did not answer the call to follow Jesus. No doubt there were some who Jesus called who did not respond just like the rich young ruler in Matthew 19 who "went away sorrowful" because he did not want to pay the cost of discipleship. Talk about missing the opportunity of a lifetime.

Under great conviction, I asked God to forgive me, and quickly turned my entire focus to preparing and launching Liveprayer.com to reach people on the Internet for God. When I signed on the website on August 31, 1999 at noon EDT, Liveprayer. com was the only non-adult website, and still is today, to literally broadcast LIVE video 24/7 over the Internet.

In nearly 21 years, we have had tens of millions of visitors to the website from around the world, have prayed over and responded to just over 170 million prayer requests, and now send the Daily Devotional to over 2.5 million email accounts worldwide each morning. More important, we know of at least 1.7 people who have professed Jesus Christ as their personal savior and have seen countless miracles in people's marriages, health, and finances.

God is still in the miracle business in the year 2020!!! Never forget that God is no respecter of person and the same God who worked miracles in the life of someone else, IS THE VERY SAME GOD WHO WILL WORK A MIRACLE IN YOUR LIFE!!!

I love you and care about you so much. I share this to encourage you today, that when God is speaking to you, LISTEN and OBEY. It is unlimited what He can do with a life totally yielded to Him. He took a few totally sold-out men after the death and resurrection of Jesus, and not only turned the world of that day upside down, but changed the course of human history forever as untold millions, maybe even billions have come to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior because of their obedience.

When Jonah finally yielded his life to God’s calling and went to Nineveh, the people repented of their sins, turned to God, and was spared His wrath and judgement!!! When Bill Keller decided to listen to God 21 years ago, the Lord raised up this amazing last days work in what was the new technology or our day, the Internet, to impact tens of millions of lives worldwide and lead nearly 2 million we know of to faith in Jesus Christ!!!

Remember, God uses our obedience and faithfulness to accomplish His plan and purpose, and nothing we do for Him is in vain, though we will never fully see the fruits of our labors this side of Glory!!!
