HACKED! satan still loses!!!

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, I pray today that You help me be a truthful person in my life each day. I know that YOU are truth and lies are from satan. Please give me the strength and the courage each day to be truthful in all of my dealings with everyone I interact with so that You are glorified. You are worthy of all praise, honor, and glory! This is the latest creative legal maneuver by the radical environmentalist movement to try and block projects they disagree with from moving forward. The uber hypocrisy of these radicals is amazing when you understand the vast percentage of these same people are in 100% support of killing innocent babies. So think about this for a moment. They want a river to have legal rights, yet they want to deny any legal rights to an actual human being. This is the place we get to when we operate in complete rebellion to God’s Word. Absolute chaos and confusion, and we all know who the author of chaos and confusion is!

HACKED! Satan is nasty and always looking to cause trouble. On Tuesday night as I was planning on enjoying some birthday cake after the TV program finished, I got an emergency call from my head tech that some very creative hackers had breached our website. Please understand that the nation’s largest corporations, the US government, major banks, entities with incredibly sensitive national and corporate information are attacked and breached all of the time.

These organizations have the most sophisticated state of the art security software costing millions of dollars and some of the most experienced technical people on the planet. Despite that, they are often hacked into and breached by various nations and international groups whose sole existence is to try and steal such sensitive and classified information.

You also have armies of lower-end groups and individuals here in the United States and operating all over the world who are looking to break into people’s websites and data bases to cause mischief, sometimes for monetary gain and often just for bragging rights on the internet. Over 20+ years now, due to the uncompromised message from God’s Word, our longstanding visible and public presence, my appearances in the secular media on programs like Howard Stern and others, Liveprayer is a big target.

WE HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLY BLESSED! Liveprayer has been attacked dozens of times over the years. Our email data base for the Daily Devotional is housed on separate servers in several different locations and our credit card donation system is housed at our credit card processor. They are the largest processor in the world and by God’s grace we have not had one issue since we began over 20 years ago.

The damage done in these hacks varies, but it is usually the wiping out of files and data bases of information. Of course we have them all backed up, but depending on the damage it is a painstaking process to reinstall everything and get it all back up and operational.

Each attack is a bit different, but they end up costing the ministry anywhere from $3,000-$10,000 when they occur, primarily from the labor costs we incur in getting everything back up and operational. As our finances are very tight each month, these are emergency expenses that we simply aren’t able to budget and have to deal with as they occur.

We have been blessed with a head technical person who has been part of God’s work here at Liveprayer since the very first months. He and his team over the years have worked endless hours for much less than what they could earn in secular organizations for their expertise as their service to the Lord.

OVERALL, GOD HAS WATCHED OVER AND PROTECTED US! WE HAVE ONLY BEEN DOWN LESS THAN 8 FULL DAYS IN THE 20 YEARS AND 6 MONTHS SINCE WE HAVE BEEN ONLINE. THAT IS A TOTAL OF 192 HOURS OUT OF 180,000 HOURS!!! THAT IS GOD AND SOME VERY GIFTED PEOPLE HE PUT IN PLACE HERE!!!

The website was down for about 2 hours very early Wednesday morning. Our tech teams we had to bring on board worked 20 straight hours to get everything back online and working properly. The only thing they could not get back online in time was the data bases for the TV program, so we aired a special salvation program Wednesday night and will be back LIVE Thursday night at our regular time, 11pm EDT.

We don’t have final numbers in yet, but it we are looking at between $4,000 and $5,000 from this hack and will be in prayer for a special gift to cover this emergency expense since we are already behind in donations this short month. So I am praying for the Lord to move on one or two hearts of our friends who have been blessed and are able to help out with a special gift towards this emergency need.

I love and care about you so much. I refuse to allow satan to keep us from what God has called us to do, impacting lives for Christ 24/7/365 while bringing His Truth to the masses in order to lead this nation back to the Almighty and Biblical Truth!

God has always helped us, even in times of emergencies by moving on the hearts of friends like you because we have been faithful, have not backed down, compromised, or sold out the Truth for money, while walking each day these last 246 months by faith trusting Him alone!

Please help me with your prayers and your sacrifices as we help lead this nation back to God and His Truth!!! AMEN!!!
