Foolish men control a global economy that is actually controlled by God alone!!!

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, Your Word promises our daily provision of food, shelter, and clothing. In the midst of a season of need I stand in faith on that promise, knowing that the same God who met my needs years ago, the same God who met my needs several months ago, and the same God who met my needs yesterday, is the very same God who will meet my needs today and tomorrow! Let me never forget that You bless us so that we can be a blessing to others. Thank You for Your bountiful blessings each day. In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: What the world thinks of YOU! Last week, a viral video was making the rounds of various media platforms, showing a clip from Don Lemon’s CNN program where he and two guests spent several laugh-filled minutes mocking, demeaning, and ridiculing the people who voted for and support President Trump. Having been in the mainstream media ether for over 20 years now, I saw the unvarnished dripping contempt for people simply because of their different beliefs to be 100% analogous of how the non-Believing world views followers of Jesus Christ. The non-believing world views Christians as toothless rubes, uneducated, easily swayed by fairy tales, irrational, and simply weak people who need a “crutch” to get through life. As Christians have been virtually eliminated from the secular media and most of the marketplace, the open mocking and demeaning of people of faith goes on unopposed and unchallenged 24/7, very similar to the unopposed and unchallenged contempt virtually all of the media has for those who voted for and support President Trump. HERE IS THE CRITICAL POINT! People who support President Trump refuse to be silent and use every tool they have to fight back. That is primarily due to the fact that the one they support refuses to give even one inch and fights back, defending himself against those who oppose him and his administration. The Bible tells us “the battle is the Lord’s.” We, His followers are the Lord’s army. Christ has equipped us with the “armor of God,” given us the “sword” to fight with, and most important His example to battle to the death against the evil of this world. Like supporters of the current President fight for and defend him as he leads that political fight, so the followers of Jesus Christ must fight and defend our Lord and faith against the legions of satan. Jesus said that the world would hate us because it hated Him first. He is correct, they DO hate us and that isn’t going to ever change. Do we cower and hide in the face of that hatred, or do we stand up and fight? I MAKE MY DECISION EACH AND EVERY MORNING GOD GRACES ME WITH, WHAT ABOUT YOU???

Foolish men control a global economy that is actually controlled by God alone!!! Back in 2003, I shared a Daily Devotional on a potential worldwide pandemic known as SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome). 17 year later, the world is facing SARS 2.0 that is known as the “coronavirus,” and I spoke about this new strain in the context of the 2003 outbreak in a Daily Devotional in January. In addition to the potential worldwide health crisis the coronavirus presents, one that we MUST pray about since we are seeing more people dying and more cases reported in many nations around the world, it also presents a serious wildcard to the global economy!!! THE GLOBAL ECONOMY HAS NOT FACTORED IN ANY SUCH SURPRISE MAJOR FINANCIAL DISRUPTIONS!!!

I was very involved in the global markets during my ten years running from God’s calling during the 80s. These were the early days of the financial markets around the world becoming intertwined into the true global economy that it is today. I have written often in the Daily Devotional over the years, commented on the TV program, that the reality is our US economy and the economies of the world that are now inter-dependent on each other are in actuality a huge Ponzi scheme. It makes Bernie Madoff’s 20+ year, $65 billion financial scam look like child’s play!

THE GLOBAL ECONOMY LITERALLY EXISTS AS IT DOES TODAY BY SMOKE AND MIRRORS!!!

Now that I have scared you to death and have your attention, let me explain why men are such fools to believe for one second they control the world’s economy. All of the economies around the world are loaded with long-term debt they have no idea how to ever repay, nor are they even addressing that issue. Their answer to debt is like many consumers who owe $30,000 on their credit cards. They go get ANOTHER credit card!

For a consumer, they ignore the long-term effects of their debt, instead focusing on keeping money rolling in to take care of the needs of today. Those overseeing the economies of the world are doing the exact same thing! They are printing money, borrowing money, selling off national resources, whatever they need to do to get new money. This my friend is exactly what a Ponzi scheme is. Ignoring the money you owe and simply focusing how to bring in new money to keep the scheme from falling apart!

The good news for the United States is that of all the world economies, none is more legitimate and strong as the US economy. That is NOT to say it is healthy or isn’t vulnerable to wildcards like a worldwide pandemic. However, the United States has real consumers, actually makes things and is capable of making more things, and has an abundance of natural resources, oil and gas being the most important.

So, in the midst of the daily manipulation to keep the world markets afloat, here comes a potential world pandemic we know of as the coronavirus. This is one of those “unexpected events” that from time to time proves the vulnerability of man and shines a light on the fact God, not man, is in control!!!

This is also originating in China, the world’s second largest economy that is at its’ weakest in the past 50 years due to the pressure from the United States to create a more fair trade policy between the two countries. This additional unexpected hit to the Chinese economy from the coronavirus at such a critical time makes the impact on ALL of the world markets that much more pronounced as seen in recent days with the sharp sell-off of the global financial markets.

AGAIN, FOOLISH MEN DO NOT HAVE THE CONTROL OVER THE DAY TO DAY ISSUES THAT AFFECT THE FINANCIAL MARKETS AROUND THE WORLD THAT THEY THINK THEY DO!!!

I love you and care about you so much!!! Fear not my friend, God is still on His throne and in total control. Take comfort in the fact our loving and caring God and not evil man has the final word in ALL matters! God has promised to provide for our daily needs, food, clothing, and shelter. God does not lie and God does not renege on His promises!

The current disruption in the global financial markets are a direct result of something no man could have seen coming. It is a great reminder how fragile ALL aspects of our life are, things we as individuals have zero control of. It is a visible reminder of how dependent we are upon God for each second of life. From the next breath we take, to the man-made institutions which govern our daily lives.

Let me also use this opportunity to remind you that it is this type of potential global upheaval that at some point WILL break down and usher in the reign of the anti-christ. A break-down in world governments will pave the way for an individual to “fix” the governance problems. A break-down in the world financial markets will pave the way for an individual to “fix” the economic problems. The anti-christ will NOT be a spiritual figure, but a political/economic “fixer!!!”

THE “ONE-WORLD RELIGION” WILL APPEAR AFTER THE “ONE-WORLD GOVERNMENT” AND “ONE-WORLD ECONOMY” HAVE BEEN USHERED IN AS A MEANS TO GIVE THE MASSES A LIE FROM SATAN TO APPEASE THEIR SPIRITUAL HUNGER!!!

As the daily ramifications from the coronavirus continue to unfold, pray for a quick end to this global health crisis that will also bring a quick end to the uncertainty in the global financial markets. May it be a lesson that God, not man, is in control and will always have the last word in ALL MATTERS!!!
