KICKING THE DOOR DOWN!!!

(1 John 3:8)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Please Lord, give me the strength that when tested, I will not be silent nor will I be afraid to tell YOUR TRUTH! Give me courage, give me strength, and let me stand strong for You no matter what the personal consequences! In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: : Suicide rates amongst 10 to 14 year olds has tripled in the past several years. It has TRIPLED! If there is ever a time in life to look forward to the future, to have endless hope for the future, it is kids 10 to 14. The natural question is why? Even without a complete understanding of basic theology, going to church gives a child the comfort in knowing there is a God who gave each person life and loves them and is watching over them. Sadly, with the better percentage of the last 2 generations having never been to church, most children are growing up without that confidence something bigger than themselves exists and loves them. This sad statistic is also the reality of children growing up in broken homes, with blended families. Love, nurturing, stability, feeling protected, not being exposed to all of the evils of this world at a young age, are all critically important to young children and what a large percentage of children today don’t have! Unfortunately, so many children are growing up today and being indoctrinated at school and by peers with the false beliefs of this fallen world. With such turmoil at such a young age, it is no wonder why the suicide rate amongst children between 10 and 14 has recently tripled!!!

KICKING THE DOOR DOWN! There are NO COINCIDENCES with God! When the Holy Spirit is guiding you, everything falls into place in ways that only God could orchestrate. Each morning as I sit down to write the Devotional, I rarely know what I will be writing about the following day. It is amazing when I look back on a week, how each days Devotionals seem to all fit together like a puzzle. Some days, I feel like a football coach sharing those last few words with the team right before they take the field to play the championship game. I pray that these words will motivate and inspire you today!

Over the holidays, I was meeting with a dear friend of Liveprayer who was in town and stopped by to see me. He reminded me of the first time we had met. It was 2003 and on a TV in my office was the coverage of the war. He reminded me that he looked began laughing and I had asked him what he was laughing at. On the TV was a video of the American troops that had taken over Saddam Hussein's main palace. They were sitting on his furniture, cleaning up in his shower, using his bathroom, resting on his bed....they had kicked in the door and taken over his home. It was a real life visual picture of what I have often shared in the Daily Devotional that we were at Liveprayer...kicking down the door!!!

On August 31, 1999, empowered by the Holy Spirit, Liveprayer literally walked up to the home of the "enemy," kicked down the front door, went into "his" kitchen and fixed a snack, went to "his" living room, sat down in "his" favorite chair, and turned on "his" TV (by the way, watching a re-air of the Liveprayer TV show). Within a few weeks, the ENEMY returned and found "his" door kicked in, Liveprayer sitting in "his" favorite chair, eating "his" food, watching "his" TV, in "his" house. Of course, the "enemy" was enraged.

Over the past 20+ years, Liveprayer has come under SERIOUS attacks on many fronts. Some of those attacks could have been fatal, but God kept HIS hand on this ministry and it survived. In the last 20+ years, I could spend hours listing the litany of attacks that Liveprayer has come under, any one of them that could have destroyed God's work here. One day, it would be encouraging to put the history of the first 20 years in a book, so people could see in detail just how faithful God can be when our hearts and lives are totally committed to Him.

The fact is, after 20+ years, Liveprayer is STILL in the house of the "enemy," the door of his house is still KICKED IN, we are still sitting in "his" chair, still eating "his" food, and still watching "his" TV! Is the "enemy" still upset? OHHHHHHHH yes. Are the attacks still coming? OHHHHHHH yes. Are we leaving? OHHHHHHH no!!!!! Over 1.6 million souls we know of have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior! We have claimed the Internet for the Kingdom of God and are not going anywhere!!!

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU? This. You can either do like most people do and stay as far away as possible from the neighborhood the "enemy" lives in, or you can boldly walk right into "his" neighborhood, walk right up to the front door of the house the "enemy" lives in, and not knock, but KICK THE DOOR DOWN!!!!!

Never forget that as a child of God you are covered by the blood of the Lamb, and GOD will protect you!!!

The FACT IS, the enemy will be relentless coming to YOUR house, hunting you and your family down, to DESTROY YOU anyway! His goal is to KILL, STEAL, and DESTROY...YOU AND THOSE THAT YOU LOVE!!!!!! So you can either wait for the "enemy" to come into your life, or you can launch a pre-emptive strike and attack "him." God will not only protect you, but give you the SAME VICTORY that He has given to Liveprayer!

I love you and care about you so much. The key point today is to not be passive in our relationship with Christ, but be bold, proactive, and walk in the victory that Jesus won on the cross over 2,000 years ago. I do that daily here at Liveprayer, and will not live any other way! Life is too short NOT to make the greatest impact that we possibly can during our brief journey here. I just want you to know how deeply I appreciate your love, prayers, and support for what we have literally been doing 24/7/365 these 20+ years.

Whatever God has done in the lives of tens of millions of people’s hearts and lives worldwide since we "kicked in the door" is all because of YOU!!!

Thanks for helping me continue to occupy the house of the "enemy." Trust me, I have NO PLANS to leave. Liveprayer has taken this house over, renovated it, and transformed it from a house of pain and suffering into a house of hope and everlasting life! YOU HAVE MADE THAT POSSIBLE!

Let me encourage you today to have the boldness to not be afraid of the enemy who seeks to destroy you. HE IS A DEFEATED FOE, A TOOTHLESS LION! God will not only protect you, but empower you to be victorious. Satan has NO POWER over your life today. NOW, GET OUT THERE, AND GO KICK THE DEVIL UP AND DOWN THE STREET LIKE AN OLD SOUP CAN!!!
