Walk by faith, be obedient, be faithful, and God will do the rest!!!

(1 Corinthians 15:57)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, You are our provider each day as You promised in Your Word. Today I pray for Your favor and blessings to be upon all that I do. My hope is not in the things of this passing world, but in the eternal truth of Your promises. Guide my every step Lord, and may You be glorified through my life for all the world to see. In the name of Jesus my Lord, Savior, and Redeemer I pray...AMEN!!!

Liveprayer.com signed on to the internet at exactly Noon EDT on Tuesday, August 31, 1999. As I signed us on, Michele Beardon, the Religion Editor for the than Tampa Bay News, was there to do a feature story on this new ministry. We had a camera crew present to video the event, and a copy of that video was sent to the National Religious Broadcasters for their historical archives.

Liveprayer was not just the first interactive Christian websites, but it was the very first non-pornographic website to offer LIVE video. For the first several years we had a small studio in the back of the used car lot our offices have been located at from day one, and a LIVE prayer partner was on camera literally 24/7 to pray for people who came to Liveprayer for prayer!

Liveprayer was truly a God-breathed miracle, since I literally walked by faith that first day and every day since. I had no real idea what Liveprayer would become, but as I was obedient and faithful each day, God began to shape what would become a bold and visible ministry online. A few years later we would add a TV program to air only on non-Christian TV.

As we approach our 20th anniversary, God has used Liveprayer to literally impact tens of millions of lives worldwide!!!

I have written over 7,000 Daily Devotionals that for years now has gone to apx 2.5 million subscribers worldwide every morning in order to bring God’s Truth and the love and hope of Christ into the marketplace. We have broadcast several thousand LIVE TV programs reaching millions of people on various non-Christian TV stations and networks. Liveprayer has prayed over and responded to over 150 million emails for prayer and have an archive of right at 15 million praise reports as a testimony to God’s faithfulness and miracle working power in the lives of people.

Most important, we have seen at Liveprayer over 1.4 million people we know of come to faith in Jesus Christ!!!

Those impacted live and souls who will be forever with their Savior Jesus will be my eternal legacy, as well as the eternal legacy of every person over these past 2 decades who prayed for me and for Liveprayer! Those dear pople along with the thousands of friends over these past 20 years who have sacrificially given, in some cases making great personal sacrifices, enabling us to accomplish all that God has called for us to do for Him and His Kingdom in these last days.

When I began Liveprayer, I simply prayed for the Lord to meet our financial needs each month necessary to do the work He had called us to. I had no interest in turning the ministry into a marketing business to sell books, tapes, and products. I had no desire to acquire land and buildings. I certainly was not motivated to see how much personal wealth I could accumulate in homes, luxury cars, private jets.

I had spent my 20s running from God making millions in the business world and understood the folly of chasing money. I simply asked the Lord to provide for my daily personal needs and shared the needs of the ministry each month, walking in faith each day that the Lord would move on the hearts of people to make the sacrifice to give some of their treasure to fund God’s work here at Liveprayer. Each month for 20 years God has been faithful!!!

Because I refused to turn God’s work here at Liveprayer into a money machine as so many ministries have become, I have had the incredible freedom to boldly preach the unadulterated truth of God’s work without compromise. I know for a fact the millions in lost donations from people who were upset that Liveprayer talked about issues that upset people ranging from certain cults to abortion to people living together outside of marriage to the reality of satan and hell.

Many angry emails told me that I was too intolerant, I was being hateful, that I was a bigot, and they were no longer going to send Liveprayer their money. I have been told more times than I can count that I shouldn’t talk about things that upset people, to be more like that nice man who is so upbeat..Joel Osteen! (For those who have been part of Liveprayer for any length of time, you can insert your laughing emjoi here!)

Because I refuse to back down from telling God’s Truth, because I refuse to simply use the ministry to generate personal wealth, satan has only had one weapon to fight me and that has been our monthly operating budget. For clarity, our current monthly operating budget of $55,000 is equivalent to a local church with a congregation of less than 1,000 people! When you factor the number of people we reach every day for just over $1,800, it is really a modern day loaves and fishes miracle.

However, when you aren’t buying property, paying to build and upkeep buildings, have a huge payroll to meet every Friday, aren’t paying to park, gas, and fly private planes, don’t have several luxury cars to replace each year, you aren’t paying the dollars required to maintain several multi-million dollar homes...when 93 cents of every dollar is going to the actual work of God...it is amazing how much you can do with so little in comparison to the dollars squandered by this world!

It has been amazing over these many years as we have struggled probably 80% of the 238 months we have been online. However, God has always honored our faith and always come through! We have been in some really tight spots probably about 6 times when the Lord led someone to help us with a special gift of $30,000, $50,000, $80,000, and a one very critical time $100,000!

The only time Liveprayer was literally at the place we were going to have to close down since we couldn’t meet our operating obligations was the final 4 months of 2017. We were at a place where as I stood each day in faith, I had to realize that perhaps our season was over. I knew in my heart we still had much more to do, but in the end it was God’s work.

As we were literally shutting down different aspects of our daily ministry each week, determined to keep what we could going until we had none of our ministry services running, God led one dear friend to send a special gift of $100,000. That gift enabled us to get our basic daily ministry operations back in full operation to the glory of God!

2018, the year satan thought we would be gone, proved to be the most productive year of ministry Liveprayer has ever had. As the culture has become more Godless, as more people live their lives without ever having even been to church, we were being taxed daily with more requests for prayer and counseling than ever. We were also seeing more people come to faith in Jesus each month than at any other time in the history of Liveprayer. GOD IS GREAT!

So far, 2019 has been a continuation of 2018 in terms of the amount of people coming to Liveprayer each day for prayer and counsel. As much as our nation has deteriorated spiritually, it is literally happening before our very eyes each day in very visible ways. With most churches and ministries hiding in the Christian subculture, with the media and other major entities used to reach the culture purposely working to silence the Truth of the Bible and Gospel, now more than ever the boldness, fearlessness, and clarity of our voice at Liveprayer is critical.

Since 2003, a part of the Liveprayer ministry has been the TV program. I purposely refused to go on the Christian networks since our work here is to reach those outside of the four walls of the church. 98% of the people who watch Christian TV are already Christians. For most of the past 15 years, the TV program has been on major secular network affiliates around the nation and for 6 months in 2006 nationally on the ION Network.

The TV program has been a great compliment to the Daily Devotional to bring Biblical Truth into the marketplace where people live. After a hiatus of 18 months, we re-launched the TV program on Thanksgiving 2018. We brought the TV program back strictly on a streaming basis since that is how over 50% of people now watch TV, and in the next 5 years it will be over 70%. It is also costing the ministry a fraction of what traditional TV used to cost us each month!

LIVE every Mon-Fri from 11pm EDT to Midnight, it is aired on our website and simulcast LIVE on the Liveprayer Church ROKU channel as well as our Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages. All programs are available for ON DEMAND viewing on our Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages. It is a very relaxed and personal opportunity for me every Monday-Friday to talk about exactly what is happening in our world at that very moment, the real world events in the news that day, and put it all in a Biblical context.

Tomorrow, I am going to share a very special Daily Devotional about the state of our culture at this very moment. I will share with you about the terrible spiritual erosion we have seen in the past 5 decades, how after 8 years of the anti-Christian Obama Administration God gave the nation a brief reprieve in the form of a most unlikely person, Donald Trump.

Despite being a pro-Christian, pro-life, pro-Christian liberties President, the fact is at this moment in history there is a very real and focused effort to silence Biblical Truth and the Gospel from the masses using the traditional outlets used to reach people 24/7 in the marketplace. This makes the challenge to reach the growing percentage of people who have never been to church and have had their worldview and beliefs shaped by the Godless culture even more difficult.

I will also share with you that as the church has mostly retreated to the safety, profitability, and isolation of the Christian subculture they have created over the past 5 decades, in that void of “salt and light” has risen up a “fake church” and people who identify as “Christian” but live their lives in blatant and unrepentant rebellion to Almighty God and the Truth of the Bible!

Every year since Liveprayer began, we have struggled to cover our monthly ministry operations in June, July, and August. It makes sense since this is the time of year many aren’t quite as plugged in, kids are out of school for the summer, and whether it is vacations or just enjoying the summer weather, people tend to live a more relaxed lifestyle. This is an issue most churches and other types of charities face each year as well.

***As we are 6 days from the end of June, we just cleared up the balance of our May shortfall early last week. We have only been working on the $55,000 we require for our June ministry operations over the past few days and have received the first $5,000, leaving the final $50,000.

It is critical to cover $19,000 of that final amount in the next couple of days, and the final $31,000 by Friday to end the month with all of our June ministry operations paid in full. OUR GOD IS ABLE!!!

Of course next Monday begins July and then 31 days later we begin the 31 days of August. We require $55,000 for our July ministry operations and $55,000 for our August ministry operations. So over the next 68 days we require $160,000 to go into the final 4 months of 2019 with all of our basic ministry operation current!!!

Second, seek the Lord what He is leading YOU to do to help me to take care of the $50,000 we require for our June ministry obligations over the next 6 days, as well as the $110,000 we will require to take care of July and August. Possibly some have sold a home or real estate and are praying about where to tithe some of those funds. Others might have had a business windfall or insurance settlement that you are praying about where to tithe some of those funds. Still others simply might have funds that you are being led to use for the Lord’s work and are seeking His guidance. Trust the Lord and be obedient since that is where our blessings flow from.

Thirdly, pray for the Lord to guide people in their time of need to “find” Liveprayer. Pray about how God can use YOU to share the TV program with people you know, the Daily Devotional to those who are at a time of great need in their life. Much of the great work God has done through Liveprayer over these past 2 decades has happened because friends like you knew people who needed the Lord in their life, often at a most difficult time.

Liveprayer has been a true work of God during this brief moment of human history to impact specific lives. As much as I have lived and breathed Liveprayer virtually every second of every day for the past 20 years, it is still IMPOSSIBLE for me to even remotely know more than 5%, at best, of the lives God has impacted here.

However, my Bible says the Lord knows the very number of hairs on your head! He knows EVERY PERSON INTIMATELY that has been spiritually fed through this work here at Liveprayer since we began. That is why many, many years ago I realized that I only had one real job. Wake up each day, plug in tightly to the Lord through prayer and the Word, walk by faith trusting Him every step, and be obedient and faithful. GOD WOULD DO THE REST!!!! AMEN!!!
