Daily Devotional for Wednesday June 12, 2019

“They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God!”

(Philippines 4:15)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, I know I have only one life, one life to live for You. This is my moment in human history. Please Lord, let me make the most if it. Use my life to do great things for You as I surrender it afresh to You each morning. When I take my last breath, let there be no regrets, no sadness, that I didn't use my life fully for Your Glory! In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

Paul wrote to his friends in Philippi, "Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again and again when I was in need. Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for what may be credited to your account. I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."

As I read that passage of Scripture, it reminded me of my feelings towards you and the work here at Liveprayer. Paul took the Gospel to the lost and hurting in the world of his day by faith, trusting that God would provide for the day to day needs of his ministry. He looked to those that he ministered to, to support his efforts to take Christ to those who were living without His love in their life. He was not ashamed to ask them to help him bring God's Truth to the world of his day and to save souls! THEY MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR PAUL TO DO WHAT GOD HAD CALLED HIM TO DO!

He reminded them that in their giving, they were not giving to Paul, but they were giving to God. It was their obedience and faithfulness that God would credit to their Heavenly account. Likewise, as you give to Liveprayer, you are not giving to Bill Keller, but you are giving to God. It is your obedience and faithfulness that God will credit to your Heavenly account. YOU MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO DO WHAT GOD HAS CALLED ME TO DO!

My wife and I have been reading your Daily Devotionals for years, and have passed many of them along to our children. You have been an incredible blessing to us, and usually once or twice a year we have sent in $100 to help you. I recently lost my job as so many have, and have been working 2 different jobs to hold our finances together. God has been merciful and continues to provide. It has allowed me some time to reflect, and each day as I read about the wonderful work you do, sacrificing all you have to reach those who don't know the Lord, I told my wife it is time for us to step out in faith and make an impact with our lives through the resources God has given to you. Know that our prayers are with you, and we mostly pray for the many like us who can make the sacrifice to stand with you to do so, so you can fulfill all that God has for you and your ministry."

"Pastor Bill, I've been following you for years via the internet and the past year since you have been on TV in the Chicago area where I live. What a joy to put a face to the powerful words you send out each day. I've finally given my heart and life to Jesus. I don't know why it took so long, why day after day I have read your warnings about hell and the peace found in a relationship with Jesus. I finally decided I wanted that peace and joy in my heart. I thank the Lord tonight for loving me and dying for my sins so that I might be saved. Please send me the booklet that you spoke of in order that I may grow in my Christian life."

I made a choice nearly 30 yrs ago when I answered God's calling to the ministry, that I was never going to seek funds for my own needs, or to build my own kingdom, only to bring God's Truth to the marketplace and build God's Kingdom. I have been faithful to do that month after month without wavering. We are at a critical time in the history of this nation. There is no doubt as I have shared with you that God is removing His hand of blessings and protection from our land. TURNING BACK TO GOD IS OUR ONLY HOPE AND ANSWER!

Like all men, I am of flesh and bone, frail, sin more than I want to. However, in over 25 yrs of full-time ministry I have NEVER sold out the Lord for money despite constant opportunities to do so, NEVER compromised the Truth of God's Word even when it would have been more comfortable to do so, and by His grace have faithfully been at my post each day giving everything I have in ministering to the needs of those dear people the Lord has brought into the life of this ministry, even if it is through one email or hearing a few minutes of the TV program.

I am FAR, VERY FAR from anything close to perfection, but will take my last breath at some point with a clear conscience that no matter what the consequences, personally, financially, will finish my race having served the Lord to my utmost abilities.

I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THAT OVER THESE MANY YEARS, NOR CAN I DO IT TODAY OR TOMORROW WITHOUT YOUR LOVE, PRAYERS, AND GENEROUS SACRIFICE!

The Bible teaches to give according to your ability to give. For some that may be $5, for other it may be $20, for others it may be $50. Still others God has blessed and you can make a sacrifice today of $100, $300, $500, $1,000, or more. Never forget that it is not the amount God sees, but your sacrifice, and He will honor your heart as you obey His voice.

Will you help me today? Will you please take a minute today, and pray, seek the Lord what He is asking you to sacrifice to help me as we boldly stand where virtually nobody else will, in the marketplace declaring His Truth as unpopular as that is today, to help lead this nation back to God and Biblical Truth while leading the lost to faith in Jesus Christ!

I love you and care about you so much. I want you to commit to memory today's anchor verse from 1 Corinthians 15:57, "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!" For the 20 yrs since starting Liveprayer.com I have walked by faith, not trusting in the devices of man, but God to move on hearts to help me.

Together we have impacted tens of millions of lives worldwide and over 1.3 million souls we know of will be in Heaven. However, our work is not quite finished, and I need you now more than ever! Know that you and your family are in my prayers each day. Thank you for your love, prayers, and sacrifice as we take our stand in these last days. The time is very short, our time is now! Will you stand with me as we see VICTORY in helping lead a true national revival during this year and lead our nation back to God and His Truth!
