***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, open my eyes to see this world clearly, and show me what You want me to do to serve You in these times we live. You and You alone will have the last word Lord. Let me see this lost world through Your eyes and with Your heart and help to lead the lost and hurting to find Your hope, strength, and peace! In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!!!

Part Two of Three

“...but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world...” John 15:19

The world we are living in for this season. Today is Part Three of a very special 3-PART Daily Devotional series on recent major events and news stories in the United States and around the world that are shaping the culture we live in today.

It is critical for Christians to clearly understand the culture around us so that we can be the Lord’s agents of change as He has commanded us to be. May the Lord guide us each day by His Spirit as we faithfully serve Him!!!

*The satanic Mormon cult is having a real problem with the LGBTQ community within their cult. Sadly, many Christian churches and denominations have been compromised by not taking a stand against the sin of same-sex relations and the perversion of God’s Holy Institution of Marriage! Cults are usually pretty strict about enforcing their false beliefs, but when it comes to this issue the Mormon cult has caved and accepted this group into their ranks.

Of course they try to use lame word games that they don’t agree with people who engage in this type of sexual perversion or recognize their “marriages,” but that is like people who say they personally don’t agree with abortion but support people who do. NOTHING BUT A ROTTEN WORD SALAD FROM A CULT ALREADY LEADING SOULS TO HELL WITH THEIR SATANICALLY INSPIRED BELIEFS!!!

*The powerful pro-life movie “Unplanned” was given an R rating due to “extreme violence.” This movie had ZERO curse words, ZERO nudity, and what was labeled “extreme violence” was apx. 38 seconds of a woman having her baby murdered. Quite an admission even though I am certain they didn’t mean for it to be. Even more ironically is that with an R rating if you are not allowed to see the movie unless accompanied by an adult. However, in most every state a girl that is 16 and even younger can have an abortion without ANY parental notification!!

*An Iraqi Christian man was captured by Isis and burned with fire THREE TIMES! All 3 times the man claimed to see Jesus, and all 3 times he said not one hair on his body was burned!!! Now I understand most people would hear this testimony and be very leery that this really happened.

Let me introduce you to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from chapter 3 of the Book of Daniel. These three Hebrew men thrown into a fiery furnace by Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon for refusing to bow down to the kings image. The three Hebrew men were protected from the fire and the king actually sees four men walking in the flames, "the fourth ... like a son of God!!!” AMEN!!!

*In many Daily Devotionals talking about the sexual abuse within the Roman Catholic Church all over the world because of the non-Biblical edict over the last 1,000 years that priests and nuns are not allowed to marry, I have shared that while the abuse by priests has been the story, nuns were also involved in sexually abusing young girls. That part of this destructive story is now starting to get coverage. It is no less egregious and just as destructive to the life of the child.

For reasons we will never fully know, God may call a man or woman to a life of celibacy. However, He will equip those people with the strength and commitment to honor that vow without sexually abusing children or as more often occurs, engaging in sexual activity with adults of both sexes.

*As we are a good decade into social media being part of the cultural landscape, the World Health Organization has labeled social media as a mental health issue for those who become addicted. Like any addiction, it takes over a person’s life. Those who become addicted to social media begin to lose sight or reality, and the real world and the virtual world become blended. Addiction to social media is no different than an addiction to alcohol, drugs, shopping gambling, shopping, food, or anything else a person becomes addicted to, and just as destructive!

*Street preachers get much grief, but they are truly front line warriors for Christ! They are heroes who get little acclaim! As the crackdown on Christianity around the world unfolds, you can be jailed for simply preaching God’s Word in places like England and Canada. Please realize, it will soon become illegal in this country as well, since already many cities and towns REQUIRE a person to have a permit in order to preach God’s Word on a public street corner!

*A byproduct of the surge of illegal aliens into this country has been the re-introduction of diseases rarely seen for decades like the mumps and measles. As children in the country illegally are sent to cities and towns in most every state, they are introducing into local schools many different types of sicknesses and diseases.

*With the spread of “fake churches” that I have recently written about in the Daily Devotional, one of the newest “fake churches” has as one of their sacraments....smoking marijuana! Satan has grossly perverted the church, the Bride of Christ, in every way imaginable. “Churches” that promote and glorify the sin of same sex relations. “Churches” that literally and without conscience worship satan himself. Sadly, a “church” where smoking marijuana is part of their service should really not be a shock!

*A public service message. Please understand that all of the new in-home technology is INTERNET BASED. That would include your SmartTV, home assistants like “Alexa,” baby monitoring devices, doorbells that you can monitor from anywhere, new wireless home security systems, and many other gadgets. Please understand that any INTERNED BASED device can be hacked into, but more important, can be used to see and/or hear everything going on in your home.

If that is not bad enough, whatever information they are hearing or seeing is recorded and stored, usually by the company you bought it from. I am well aware many say they aren’t doing anything wrong and they don’t care, but I want to make you aware that this is being done. Add this to all of the info being collected and stored from your social media accounts, devices in newer cars, in addition to everything you do or say on your computer, tablet and PHONE!!!

I love you and care about you so much! These past 3 days has been a challenge to stay educated about the world we live in but are not part of, in order to the best ambassadors of Christ we can be as we share His love and hope with this lost and hurting world. God’s richest blessings as you take your stand for Christ in these final days!!!
