Daily Devotional for Monday February 4, 2019

"God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. "

(Romans 11:2-5)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, help me to focus on the fact that while as a nation and people we operate in a political infrastructure, the answers for our nation are not political but spiritual! Only through the Gospel transforming lives can this nation once again rise up and be the GOD BLESSED land we once were. Help us Lord to not be distracted by the “noise” of the political world, but stay focused on the one and only answer for our land, turning back to Almighty God and HIS Truth!!! In the name of Jesus…AMEN!!!

"God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don't you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah-how he appealed to God against Israel: "Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me"? And what was God's answer to him? "I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal."So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. Romans 11:2-5

The United States of America is a nation founded on the God of the Bible, His Truth, and faith in Jesus Christ. It has never been a perfect nation, early on embracing such sins as slavery. However, it has only been in the last 40 years that it has completely turned from being a nation that as a whole honored God our Creator and held to Biblical Truth, to a people in full rebellion to Almighty God and His Truth. We have embraced and glorified every gross sin imaginable from infanticide to gross sexual perversion. We have embraced every false god and idol man has created in his evil imagination.

THE UNITED STATES IS NOT DUE GOD'S WRATH AND PUNISHMENT, IT IS OVERDUE!

At fault for this spiritual decay is the church. Until the last 40 years, the Christian church in the United States had a huge role to play in our culture. Now, the church has virtually zero influence over our culture. 40 years ago we left the marketplace for the "Christian trough," a Christian subculture made up of the church, Christian TV, radio, broadcasting, and music, geared to and marketed to people who are already Christians. The "trough" is a safe and profitable place where Christians don't have to deal with the evils of this world.

The byproduct of creating this Christian subculture is that we have left the nation to the wolves of satan. That is why you now have sin being promoted and glorified as normal and acceptable behavior, while righteousness is scoffed and ridiculed. The "trough" is so divided and made up of thousands of fiefdoms, all trying to woo the limited number of people who make up Christendom, that it not only has zero impact on our nation, but has even failed most who are truly searching for Biblical Truth. Man still has this spiritual yearning due to his separation from God, and to fill the void you have the rise of every kind of cult, false religion, and new age philosophy that is leading searching souls to the flames of hell for all eternity.

My friend, while the church has run and hid, has deteriorated into little more than marketing organizations and entertainment centers, many embracing the sins of this lost world, it is time for the "remnant" to rise up. In Israel, there was always a remnant of the faithful. In my study of the Scriptures, the remnant never had any power to sway the masses. It was the masses who turned their back on God that caused His wrath and judgment to fall on their land. The same will be true in this nation unless we turn back to our Creator and His Truth.

While the high profile preachers go into the Christian media to build their own kingdom, building multi-million dollar buildings, living in opulent luxury, amass great followings, they are doing virtually NOTHING to change the spiritual course of this nation nor do they every try. While so-called Christian leaders are being bought off by cult members and compromising the Gospel for their own gain, a nation is spiraling into the spiritual abyss awaiting the wrath and judgment of Almighty God.

Unlike the remnant of Israel, I refuse to sit back and watch our once great nation destroyed. My friend, there is NO political answer to this nation's problems, since those problems at the heart are not political but spiritual. That is why there is no politician who can heal our land. It will take a man of God who has no other desire, no other goals, no other purpose but to unite the remnant and go into the marketplace to call this land to repentance or experience the full wrath and judgment of God Himself.

I love you and care about you so much. After so many years on front lines I simply want to share His love, see souls saved, and live a quiet life. However, it is not my life, it is His. It is His plan I must fulfill, not my own. I shared with you over the past 2 decades that these days were upon us. Each passing day sees the spiritual foundation of our nation deteriorate in every way. God's judgment has already began to fall and most of this nation doesn’t even know. His wrath and judgment will continue to fall and get worse each day unless we get on our knees, repent, and turn back to Him and His Truth!

Know that you and your family are in my prayers each day. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support as we take our stand in these last days. It is time to get busy since our time is very short!!!
