The world we are living in for this season. Part Two of Three

(John 15:19)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, open my eyes to see this world clearly, and show me what You want me to do to serve You in these times we live. You and You alone will have the last word Lord. Let me see this lost world through Your eyes and with Your heart and help to lead the lost and hurting to find Your hope, strength, and peace! In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

Part Two of Three

“...but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world...” John 15:19

The world we are living in for this season. Today is Part Two of a very different 3-PART Daily Devotional series on recent major events and news stories in the United States and around the world that are shaping the culture we live in today. DO NOT MISS PART THREE TOMORROW!

It is critical for Christians to clearly understand the culture around us so that we can be the Lord’s agents of change as He has commanded us to be. May the Lord guide us each day by His Spirit as we faithfully serve Him!!!

The feminist movement of the 60s that began with some legitimate issues of inequality, quickly became very radicalized and was a major cause for blurring and changing the God-given roles of men and women. Fast forward to today, and now there is literally and all-out assault on destroying an entire gender...men! This perversion is becoming so ingrained in the culture that the maker of razor blades, Gillette, has a national commercial embracing this false notion of “toxic masculinity!”

While CNN has clearly demonstrated its’ political bias in their programming, they have to be given credit for their documentaries. Most are very informative and very accurate. Their most recent series is on “American Style.” In looking at fashion in the 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s through the culture of those days, we can clearly see the breakdown of marriage and the family during the rebellion to all authority that began in the 60s and picked up steam in the 70s. The dawning of the “Playboy” mentality, promiscuous sex that became the norm with the advent of the pill, and a rejection of the values and morals that had guided our nation we clearly breaking down as each decade passed.

Over 15 yrs ago I wrote a Daily Devotional about the first “implantable chip” created by Motorola. Today, this chip is being used in many places around the world for basic functions such as access to work places and storing basic personal information. It is also being used with GPS technology to track children of wealthy parents in places where kidnapping for ransom is commonplace. I shared 15 yrs ago, this IS the forerunner of the technology all people must have during the reign of the anti-Christ to simply live their daily lives.

The annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas was a showcase for more home items that are internet connected. Also, they had lots of new facial recognition technology on display. Just remember, anything connected to the internet has the ability to constantly gather information and is ALWAYS able to be hacked into.

In the early stages of the effort to culturally mainstream those who are so confused they don’t even know what gender they are, we are already starting to see “gender regretters,” or people who are realizing the damage they have done to themselves physically and mentally in buying into such a blatantly ridiculous lie.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has called the wall on the southern border immoral. She has also waxed poetically about the moral responsibility this nation has to illegal immigrant children. This is from a woman who claims to be a practicing Catholic and serious Christian, yet her entire political career has been an advocate and supporter of killing innocent babies. How immoral is infanticide, and what moral obligation do we have to the human life of American babies in the womb?

Euthanasia and doctor assisted suicide is slowly beginning to become acceptable not just in foreign countries, but sadly as I warned many years ago, here in the United States. It is now legal in Washington state, Oregon, Colorado, Hawaii, Vermont, Montana, the District of Columbia, and California. The Netherlands and Canada have now made it legal to euthanize children, and in Belgium a 64yo woman was assisted by a doctor to kill herself because she was depressed.

I love you and care about you so much! Please, don’t miss Part Two tomorrow and Part Three tomorrow where I will be dealing with a whole range of issues currently in the news that are shaping this culture we are living in. This is a challenge to stay educated about the world we live in but are not part of, in order to the best ambassadors of Christ we can be as we share His love and hope with this lost and hurting world.

Don't miss Part Three of Three tomorrow!

In His love and service,

Your friend, brother, and co-laborer in Christ,
