Daily Devotional for Thursday November 8, 2018

***LIVEPRAYER TV IS BACK!!! We will be re-launching the Liveprayer TV program with a Thanksgiving Day special broadcast LIVE from 7p-8p EST! Our regular broadcast schedule will begin that following Monday, December 3rd, airing every Monday thru Friday LIVE from 11p-Midnight EST! As we have since the program began, we will be taking phone calls from the viewers on every program with questions, comments, and prayer requests.

Another great blessing is that the TV program will initially on cost only $2,000 a monthly, as opposed to the tens of thousands of dollars each month it cost the ministry to air on traditional TV. That monthly cost will go up only as the viewership increases, meaning if we have to pay more each month it is because we are attracting a larger audience that will also bring new friends to help support Liveprayer. So please be praying about your sacrifice each month to insure that this additional monthly cost for a critical part of the Liveprayer ministry is covered.

After doing our LIVE TV program on various non-Christian stations and networks around the nation since 2003, I am humbled and most thankful for the opportunity to reach thousands and thousands of new people each night. I know that as each year passes, more and more people are growing up having never been to church, having never been in a home environment where God’s Word and faith in Jesus was practiced and honored.

Pray with me that each night lives will be impacted for Christ, hope is given to those who are at a desperate place in their life, and lost souls will come to faith in Jesus Christ!!! AMEN!!!

These quotes came from a man who was a genius by the world’s standards, though he is now burning in hell for all eternity. The Bible tells us that “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise!” Word came this past March that 76 year old world renowned British physicist Stephen Hawking died. Hawking was diagnosed at 21 with ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It can kill someone within a few months of diagnosis, and there's only a 10% chance patients live more than a decade. However, Hawking lived for 55 years with the disease.

As brilliant of a scientist as Hawking was, sadly his brilliance prohibited him from understanding and knowing the greatest Truth of all. To Hawking, that truth was what he called, “the theory of everything.” Sadly, what Hawking never understood is that the “everything” he spoke of was this temporal world that one day will be gone as the Bible tells us. In His “brilliance,” Hawking rejected God, which of course meant he also rejected God’s Son Jesus as the Savior of the world.

Having debated many great minds over the past 25 years who held to the same beliefs as Hawking, minds that would forget more about the complex things of this world than I would know in 100 lifetimes, it always left me sad knowing that their vast intelligence regarding things of this temporal world would prohibit them from knowing the greatest truth of all, and when their brief journey was over their soul souls be needlessly lost for all eternity.

As I always do in these situations, let me remind you of several critical facts. God, not Bill Keller is the author of the plan of salvation. As I remind people often, there is always the chance that a Hawking, a Hitler, or any other public denier of Christ throughout their life could in their final breath seek forgiveness for their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and be forever in Heaven as is the thief on the cross. Sadly however, most who hold beliefs like Hawking have hardened their heart and take their last breath shaking their fist at God their Creator, unaware that they will be cast in the horrors of hell for all eternity.

ONCE AGAIN, I AM SIMPLY SHARING WHAT GOD SAYS IN THE BIBLE. PEOPLE ARE FREE TO ACCEPT HIS TRUTH OR REJECT HIS TRUTH!!!

In debating atheists over the years, those who deny God as the Creator of the universe and all that is in it, they are always stuck when forced to answer the question, “Accepting the Big Bang theory as the way everything was created, where did whatever particles present during the “bang” come from?” Even great minds like Hawking have NO ANSWER! The reality is, there is NO...ZERO scientific evidence for creation outside of God!

Sadly, Hawking never understood we do NOT have an impersonal God. We have a God who loved His creation so much, He desires to have a personal relationship with each of us. He loved us so much that despite our sins that should damn ALL men to hell, God sent His Son Jesus to die for those sins so that each man could make the choice to be reconciled back to His Creator.

Probably the saddest quote of all was when Hawking stated, “"There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark."

Sadly Hawking in all of his knowledge of this world never understood the simple fact that if the world came into being as he believed, than man is nothing but a cosmic accident. No purpose. No reason. Nothing we do matters. Man just lives and dies and that is it. When you think about that for a moment, how sad is this life if we had no purpose or reason for being. I honestly can’t think of anything that is more sad!

I love and care about you so much. Jesus came, lived, and shed His precious blood on that cross for ALL mankind. That included Stephen Hawking. However, God gave man freewill. His free gift of everlasting life through faith in Jesus Christ is available to every person who has lived, is alive today, and will live. GOD HAS NEVER SENT ANYONE TO HELL! One more time. GOD HAS NEVER SENT ANYONE TO HELL! The only way a man can end up in hell for all eternity is to reject faith in Jesus Christ.

While the world celebrates the life of Stephen Hawking, paying him great tributes, satan is also celebrating. A man who was arguably one of the greatest minds of his generation for things of this world, a man that like so many rejected the very existence of God and thus His Son Jesus. In the end, just one more soul that is most likely adding to the population of the eternal fires of hell!

YOU know people today that may not be world renown scientists like Hawking, but who are just as lost. Possibly people under your own roof, other family members, friends, neighbors, co-workers, people you interact throughout the course of your day. Pray for someone today YOU KNOW has rejected Christ as their Savior.
