Daily Devotional for Tuesday October 23, 2018

You are SPECIAL...and...a special need!!!

(Deuteronomy 7:8; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:4,5)

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord, YOU are my provider. You know my daily needs. You promised to care what I need each day for life....food, shelter, clothing. I put my trust in you. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and I come to you today to thank you for providing for my needs in the past, and knowing my needs today. Today, I come to you, asking you to meet those needs as you promised in Your Word! In the name of Jesus I pray...AMEN!

This is a very short and simple word for YOU today, but powerful in its truth! Many days we get so consumed with our lives, that we lose sight of just how special we are. Life is filled with many problems and because of those problems, we sometimes get down and blame ourselves.

My dear friend, God is GREAT and worthy to be praised!!! Dozens of times over the 19+ years of Liveprayer we have faced difficult financial challenges. Last year it looked like Liveprayer was over due to our inability to pay basic operating costs. Each time, God has raised up one or two of our friends HE had blessed to help us with a special gift to continue His work at a critical moment when it looked like we would have to close down.

Every minute Liveprayer is in operation, satan shivers as lives somewhere in the world are being impacted, God’s unadulterated Truth is being heard, and souls are being saved!!!

At those moments when even my faith waivers a bit, God sends someone to encourage me, a special gift to help at a critical time, and I am rejuvenated, supernaturally charged with Holy Ghost power to stay on the front lines and battle satan for the souls of men. It is on the front lines you will find my empty body when either the trump sounds and Christ returns, or the Lord says my work is complete and HE calls me home to my eternal rest!

This year, 2018, our 19th year online, has been a POWERFUL year of ministry for Liveprayer. Thanks to the sacrifice of some dear friends at the end of the year to get Liveprayer current, I have been able to focus most of my time on ministering to the needs of the people we reach worldwide each day.

So far we have received, prayed for, and sent a personal responses to just under 11 million emails for prayer during 2018. We have received apx. 1 million praise reports archived from the first 9 months of 2018! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

MOST IMPORTANT HOWEVER, WE HAVE SEEN RIGHT AT 40,000 SOULS WE KNOW OF COME TO FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST SO FAR THIS YEAR!!! AMEN!!!

This has all be possible because friends like you have sacrificed your prayers and many, some of your treasure!!!

With just 9 days left in October, we are getting a late start on the $50,000 we require of our October ministry operations since we just cleared up our September shortfall last week. So far, we have received the first $5,000, leaving $45,000 to end the month with all of our obligations current.

***Every year there are one or two times when the need is very critical. $19,000 of that $45,000 left is very critical and needed TUESDAY MORNING! I am praying for ONE of our friends who God has enabled and blessed to help me with a special one-time year-end gift of $19,000. Obviously, whatever you can sacrifice is special to God. No gift regardless the amount is less than or greater than another. I am asking everyone else to pray about what the Lord is calling you to give, whether it is $10, $20, $50, $100, or more in order to cover the final $26,000 of October’s operations budget by the end of the month.

*SPECIAL YEAR-END GIFT!!! With the end of the year just 71 days away (Can you believe it?), PLEASE be praying about a special year-end gift to Liveprayer that will also help with your 2018 taxes. Over these final 71 days of 2018 we require the final $45,000 of our October ministries budget and the $100,000 we require for November and December. If you haven’t heard these words in a while, maybe in a long time, hear them now....YOU ARE SPECIAL!!!

Forgiving others can be very difficult, especially when they have hurt us in some way. However, just as difficult, even more so, is forgiving ourselves! The Bible tell us that we have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory.

There are no perfect people. But our God is ready to forgive us and cleanse us from all our sin, if we will simply confess our sins to Him and repent. My friend, you cannot change what has already been done, but you have total control over what you will do from this point forward.

I pray that this day, you will find freedom in the fact that you are special and God loves you. What may have happened in your life before is behind you. You need to stand on God's promise that if you are willing to confess those past sins and ask His forgiveness, He will forgive you and give you a fresh slate. If our God is willing to forgive you, then isn't it time you forgive yourself?

Let today be the first day in your knowledge that you are special. God has a plan and purpose for your life. Go forward to accomplish His plan for your life, knowing that you are His child and He loves you unconditionally.

I love you and care about you so much. No matter what anyone may tell you, YOU ARE SPECIAL. Special to me, but more important, special to God. HE LOVES YOU SO MUCH!

I don't care what you are facing today or what the issues may be, take a few moments out of your day and just reflect on the FACT that in God's eyes . . .YOU ARE SPECIAL!!!
