Daily Devotional for Friday April 15, 2016
Our God is Able!
(1 Corinthians 15:57)
***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord! Today I come to you, asking you to bless the dear people who we faithfully minister to each day. I ask for your protection, that you meet their every need, and bless them and their families richly. As I have each morning for 17 years now, I commit YOUR work to you this day. May your Truth in the marketplace, lives be impacted, and souls saved….FOR YOUR GLORY! My life is in your hands and I simply ask that you use me so you are glorified!!! In the name of Jesus my Lord I pray….AMEN!!!
Our God is able! I will never forget in early 2000. Liveprayer was less than a year old. We were one of the first ministries to use the internet to interactively minister to people. We were the first non-pornographic website to use “live” video in order to pray for people who came to the website. Our monthly budget at that time was around $10,000, and it looked like we simply weren’t going to be able to continue. One morning I got an email from one of the people who had become part of the Liveprayer family, stating how much this ministry meant to him and his family and he wanted to help me. He sent a check for $10,000 to keep Liveprayer going!
In 2005, the revolutionary TV program airing on non-Christian TV was 2 years old. We were reaching over 1 million people worldwide daily online. However, we had a stretch of 4-5 months when donations simply weren’t coming in to sustain our operations and it looked like we were going to have to shut down Liveprayer. On a Saturday afternoon I was at home and checked the email. There was an email from a man who stated he was in prayer that morning and the Lord spoke to him about Liveprayer. He stated he was overnighting a check for $80,000, exactly what we needed to get Liveprayer current.
Over the years, dozens of friends of Liveprayer have made incredible sacrifices in order for God’s work here to do what we have been called to do. Thousands have given as they were able, gifts equally as critical to funding our work here. It has been humbling and an honor to be part of this wonderful work and family here at Liveprayer and to minister to the needs of so many, often in the darkest hours of their life. Sadly, today for the third time, Liveprayer is at a place where we might have to cease operations. I refuse to believe God is finished with this ministry, since the amount of money we require isn’t some astronomical sum.
I never used your gifts to buy real estate, or build stock portfolios, or acquire assets since this was never a “business” but a ministry. I didn’t answer God’s call to the ministry 25 yrs ago for fame or fortune, but to serve Him! I have bared my soul and lived my life before you day after day, week after week, and year after year. I have made myself accessible since my commitment is to serve the people who come to us in need, to share His Truth with this hurting world, and the Gospel with the lost. That has ALL been possible because of the love, prayers, and generous sacrifices of you in the Liveprayer family.
Thank you to those who were led and able to help Liveprayer yesterday. As you know, we have an immediate need of $22,000 to clear up our March shortfall, along with the first $25,000 of our $65,000 April budget. We had $3,000 of that $22,000 come in and I am standing in faith today for the Lord to send FOUR friends who will open their heart and make the sacrifices necessary to get our finances current and keep God’s work here moving forward.
I need ONE FRIEND who is able to wire transfer or deposit into our Wells Fargo account $6,000 TODAY. I need ONE FRIEND who is able to help me with a special gift of $13,000 that you can overnight to our office in St. Petersburg or put on your credit card. That clears up the $19,000 balance of our March shortfall!
By Monday, we will be 18 days into April and require $25,000 of the $65,000 we need for our April internet and TV programs. I am asking the Lord for TWO FRIENDS who can make a one-time sacrifice of $12,500 each that you can get to our St. Petersburg office Monday or put on your credit card. That leaves just the $40,000 we will require during the rest of April to end the month current!
*That is $44,000 we need NOW, and another $40,000 by the end of the month. $84,000 to bring Liveprayer current! I will not leave out of this message from my heart the opportunity for one of our friends to be blessed by helping me with a gift of $44,000 or the entire $84,000!!! PRAY AND SEEK THE LORD IS THIS IS SOMETHING HE IS CALLING YOU TO DO TODAY!!!
*PLEASE EMAIL ME AT bkeller@liveprayer.com OR CALL ME AT 727-420-7005, and I can get you whatever account information you need!
*******SPECIAL NOTE!!!!! As I was preparing for the TV program Thursday, our main server that carries the software for the TV program crashed. We will have to play re-runs Thursday and Friday and come up with $5,000 for the new server required by Monday so our techs can re-load all of the software!!! .I guess satan thinks this will be the final nail in the Liveprayer coffin…but he is a LIAR and a LOSER!
Few know the daily battles physically, financially, and mostly spiritually that I have had to fight. This is why few ever answer the call to the Lord’s work, and many who do run from it as Demas did, or live in the safety and comfort of the Christian subculture that was created to separate ourselves from the world we were called to minister to! I will fight until the very end, and as God has moved on many hearts to help me over these nearly two decades, I know there are many hearts he is speaking to today about taking their stand with me.
I love you and care about you so much. I will be in prayer today, standing in faith. Together we are going to see VICTORY as His work here at Liveprayer marches onward, daily praying for the needs of people worldwide, declaring his Truth to the masses in the marketplace, and leading lost souls to faith in Jesus Christ!!!
Love in Him,
BK
(from yesterday)
Since God led me to start Liveprayer 17 yrs ago, it seems like 5 lifetimes ago, I have done my best to be faithful. I have fought the urge to use the ministry as nothing but an ATM to build a personal fiefdom as so many in the ministry end up doing. From day one I have done my best to be faithful to the work God has called me to. We have been blessed to impact tens of millions of lives over the year, many in their darkest hour, over 100 million emails for prayer have been responded to, 10 million praise reports archived, and most important, 1 million plus souls we know of who have come to faith in Jesus.
Unlike other ministries and sadly most churches, Liveprayer has boldly gone into the marketplace to being the Truth of God’s Word and the hope of Christ to the lost and hurting. The TV program since it began in 2003 has only aired on secular stations and networks, something NO ministry is doing I am sad to say, since our goal wasn’t to raise money but bring God’s Truth to those who will never hear it otherwise, hope to the hurting, and the Gospel to the lost.
For 200 months I have started that month on my knees, simply asking the Lord to provide what we needed for that month. I took a modest salary of $32,000 until 2008 when I stopped taking my weekly pay, only what I needed to live, to help the ministry as we began to struggle in the aftermath of the financial crisis that hit the nation. Through 2009 I had about 12 friends of the ministry who I could call when finances got tight and they were able to help with a gift of $5,000, $10,000, up to $20,000. That is why we only had to share our monthly needs 3-4 times each month with everyone, and never had to make any desperate appeals.
Sadly, some of those dear friends were hit by the financial crisis, 6 have gone on to their rewards and are with the Lord, leaving me in a place where I have had no option but to share our needs each day and pray even harder for the Lord to move on the hearts of those able to help us. I have been humbled as many of our friends have answered God’s call and stepped up at critical times.
Despite the ongoing financial challenges, the ministry of Liveprayer has never been more effective, both online and on TV. As you know I have been working for several years on a syndication deal for the TV program to alleviate some of the pressure off of meeting our monthly operating budget. Our latest negotiations from late last year have been hung up over dealing with Islam. It has been the sticking point and I have relented against my better judgement, agreeing not to deal with Islam on the program, and am now waiting for a response back from the syndicators. Be praying and I will keep you posted as negotiations move forward.
As you know, we ended March with a $35,000 shortfall that is now down to $22,000. We have lost our ability to float many of our obligations needed to simply operate each day because we have been so late each month with our payments. IT IS CRITICAL THAT WE COVER THE $22,000 BALANCE FROM MARCH AND THE FIRST $25,000 FROM OUR APRIL OPERATIONS WHICH WOULD LEAVE US REQUIRING $40,000 BY THE END OF MONTH TO BE CURRENT.
Over the years of Liveprayer, we have had friends step up with $5,000, $10,000, $20,000, in one case $50,000 and another $80,000 at critical times to keep the ministry moving forward. Each month, there are several people who God has used to make a huge financial sacrifice to His work here at Liveprayer that has kept us alive for the millions we minister to around the world daily.
Today, I need 4 of our friends, FOUR, who God can use to help me insure Liveprayer keeps operating. I need ONE FRIEND who is able to wire transfer or deposit into our Wells Fargo account $7,000. I need ONE FRIEND who is able to help me with a special gift of $15,000 that you can overnight to our office in St. Petersburg or put on your credit card. That clears up the $22,000 balance of our March shortfall!
By Monday, we will be 18 days into April and require $25,000 of the $65,000 we require for our April internet and TV programs. I am asking the Lord for TWO FRIENDS who can make a one-time sacrifice of $12,500 each that you can get to our St. Petersburg office Monday or put on your credit card. That leaves $40,000 we will require during the rest of April to end the month current!
*PLEASE EMAIL ME AT bkeller@liveprayer.com OR CALL ME AT 727-420-7005, and I can get you whatever account information you need!
FOUR FRIENDS who God has blessed who are able to step up and rescue God’s work here at Liveprayer from this deep financial hole we are in and must climb out of immediately or we simply won’t be able to operate. $47,000 right away, $40,000 by the end of the month, certainly in the scheme of the worlds finances not an unrealistic amount.
However, it will take FOUR people willing to step up today and make a real commitment to the Lord’s work with $7,000, $15,000, $12,500 and $12,500, and everyone else praying and giving as you are able throughout the rest of this month! May God be glorified through you as He uses your faithfulness to insure His work at Liveprayer continues!!!
I have millions of praise reports archived, many regarding finances. I have watched God over the years move on the hearts of dear friends of this ministry who love the Lord and sacrifice for His work here. As I have done from day one, I am simply sharing our need and on my knees in faith for God to move on hearts and people to obediently respond.
ALL THAT GOD HAS DONE THROUGH LIVEPRAYER THESE PAST 17 YEARS, IS DUE TO THE LOVE, PRAYERS, AND GENEROUS SACRIFCE OF THE FRIENDS GOD HAS BROUGHT TO HIS WORK HERE!!!

I leave you with a quote from the great prayer warrior EM Bounds that sums up my heart, “Talking to men for God is a great thing, but talking to God for men is greater still!”
