My God will Meet All Your Needs According to His Glorious Riches in Christ Jesus

(John 14:6)

***ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, I would like to know, will we know our loved ones when in Heaven?

ANSWER: We need to understand that the finite, space/time existence of this life ends with our death. Our eternal state is something that our current finite minds could not even begin to comprehend. It is comforting to think of Heaven as some cosmic campground where we will all have a big reunion, but there is no concrete Biblical support for such a notion. I understand that people are told these things to comfort them after the death of a loved one or to help them with the unknown of our eternal state, but I think it is not wise to tell people things that we simply don't know for certain. What we DO know from Scripture is that we will know Jesus, we will be serving Him in some form or fashion, and that anything more than that is a bonus.

Paul wrote to his friends in Philippi, "Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again and again when I was in need. Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for what may be credited to your account. I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."

As I read that passage of Scripture, it reminded me of my feelings towards you and the work here at Liveprayer. Paul took the Gospel to the lost and hurting in the world of his day by faith, trusting that God would provide for the day to day needs of his ministry. He looked to those that he ministered to to support his efforts to take Christ to those who were living without His love in their life. THEY MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR PAUL TO DO WHAT GOD HAD CALLED HIM TO DO!

He reminded them that in their giving, they were not giving to Paul, but they were giving to God. It was their obedience and faithfulness that God would credit to their Heavenly account. Likewise, as you give to Liveprayer, you are not giving to Bill Keller, but you are giving to God. It is your obedience and faithfulness that God will credit to your Heavenly account. YOU MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO DO WHAT GOD HAS CALLED ME TO DO!

I strongly believe you're doing things the right way, & it breaks my heart that because you give the gospel for free - because you're out doing things God's way - you don't have financial support from the American church to get out in the secular marketplace & to go toe-to-toe with false prophets. Thank you for the daily word. I promise I will lift you up in prayer & give financially to LivePrayer. I pray our Lord bless you & keep you. In God's love."

As we are down to the final 10 days of May, we have taken in $6,000 of the $40,000 we require for our basic operations budget this month. $10,000 of our balance is from the first week's operations that is required to be paid immediately as we had to use funds received from that first week to cover our April shortfall! On the TV front, PRAISE GOD we covered the final $5,000 we required for the TV program in Chicago during May, and are now working on the $31,450 due Friday May 30th for the June programs, a 5 week payment because of the way the weeks fall this month.

With the long holiday weekend coming up, we will lose at least 3 days of the final 10 this month! I am praying today that everyone will pray for these financial requirements to be taken care of by the end of the month so we can begin June with no budget shortfall for Liveprayer.com or the Liveprayer TV program!
