Read the Bible

(Luke 17:26-32)

***ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, some people think God chose who he was going to be saved even before they were born. I tend to think He just knew who was going to follow him and who wasn't. What is your opinion?

ANSWER: It is the age old debate about "election." God in His omniscience knew before the foundations of the earth was formed who would accept Him and who would reject Him. Having said that, despite His knowledge, man has the free will to accept or reject Christ and God DOES NOT interfere with that free will choice, meaning each person is responsible for what they do with Jesus. Otherwise, there would be no need for preaching the Gospel, there would be no point in evangelizing, and all of the commandments regarding telling others (Romans 10) would be meaningless.

"Killing Jesus" by "Pope" O'Reilly is the theological trainwreck as I predicted when he announced this book was coming out, and not worth a dime of your hard earned money! Sadly, this book will soar to the top of the NY Times Best Seller list, just like the blasphemous garbage written by Muslim Reza Aslam titled, "Zealot," the life and times of Jesus of Nazareth that I told you about a month ago. SADLY, LESS THAN 10% OF THOSE WHO CLAIM TO BE CHRISTIANS HAVE EVER READ THE BIBLE COVER TO COVER. BEFORE YOU WASTE ANOTHER DIME ON A BOOK ABOUT JESUS OR CHRISTIANITY, HOW ABOUT READING THE BOOK YOU ALREADY OWN THAT IS PROBABLY SITTING BY YOUR BED WITH DUST ON IT!!!

Having been on O'Reilly's program numerous times dealing with issues in the news from a Biblical worldview, and having warned people in the Daily Devotional over and over during the years about his dangerous theology which is a hybrid of liberal Catholicism and New Age mysticism, I knew this book would be nothing but the latest "Jesus book" that makes the author millions of dollars while leading the lost and ignorant astray with Biblically inaccurate theology.

For the record, I have not been on the arrogant and pompous O'Reilly's program the past 4 years because his producers told me that he did not appreciate me correcting his flawed theology. In the world of tabloid journalist "Pope" O'Reilly, he is always right and everyone else is a "pinhead."

He also did not appreciate the fact a few months ago I publicly challenged him for calling Bible believing Christians "Bible thumpers," a pejorative term used by those who have disdain for people who they feel are foolish enough to actually believe what the Bible teaches. BillO loves to chastise his detractors for not coming on his program, but he is no different, just another gutless self-promoter who runs and hides from those who can embarrass him.

O'Reilly is actually on the record stating that the Bible is not a literal book, only a book of allegories and good moral stories. Sadly, due to the fact the majority of the past two generations have never even been to church, people like Muslim Aslam and the theologically challenged O'Reilly, make millions selling their "Jesus" books to people who have little to no Biblical knowledge, filling their minds with gross errors! O'Reilly will make his tour of secular programs sharing his theological errors with those audiences who are virtually all Biblically illiterate and will never know what he wrote is not Biblical Truth!

It was even more disheartening to see O'Reilly's new bought and paid for "Christian go-to guy," Dr. Robert Jeffress, who is the pastor of First Baptist Dallas. FBD became a great church under the leadership of Dr. W.A. Chriswell who was the senior pastor for decades. Dr. Jeffress if you remember, took a stand during the spring of last year by correctly telling the media Mitt Romney was part of a cult. Sadly, due to pressure from many fronts, he later backed down and told people that it was OK to vote for a 5th generation high priest of a satan worshipping cult leading souls to hell with a false gospel.

Dr. Jeffress is now O'Reilly's guest when Christian issues arise, and instead of telling people the truth he goes along with whatever O'Reilly says. Such was the case the other night because O'Reilly has been exposed from a few like myself who are not intimidated by him and will warn people he is leading astray with his false theology. Dr. Jeffress compromised his integrity by telling O'Reilly's audience what a wonderful book "Killing Jesus" is, twisting himself into a pretzel while trying to help O'Reilly sell his book.

He is no different than "jellyfish" Osteen, "my own purpose driven empire" Warren, or modern day sell-outs to satanic cult member Glenn Beck like David Barton, John Hagee, James Robison, Ralph Reed, and Beck's other bought and paid for sock puppets! I guess for Dr. Jeffress, being on O'Reilly's program is more important than telling people the truth. The reason this is so critical is because the eternal souls of men are at stake, and if they can't get the truth from supposed men of God like Dr. Jeffress, where will they? Certainly not from people who are theologically ignorant like "Pope" O'Reilly!

O'Reilly, in this Sunday's "60 Minutes," claims Jesus was afraid to die. Jesus WAS NOT afraid to die. In His humanity he understood what his purpose in life was, and that was to die for the sins of all mankind. Like ALL humans in their weak moments, the Lord asked God to take that burden from Him, yet still went obediently to the cross to give His life which was His ultimate mission.

The most laughable claim in O'Reilly's theological disaster was that Jesus was killed because of taxes. On his FOX News program in March O'Reilly stated, "I'm researching Killing Jesus. Do you know why Jesus was killed by the Romans? You don't know and you shouldn't know because it was about taxes, taxes!"

What??? Jesus was not killed because of taxes or for inciting some sort of tax revolt. Quite the opposite. He clearly taught the people to render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. It was the Jewish religious leaders who plotted to kill Jesus since he was interfering with their "business," much like most of the church world today is little more than a business. They held an inquisition of our Lord and got Him to admit He was God, which according to Jewish Law was a blasphemous statement. They than used their Roman occupiers as the instrument to execute Jesus.

More critical however is the fact the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus was born ultimately to die on the cross as the one-time perfect sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. O'Reilly in his arrogance and theological ignorance doesn't understand that theologically the killing of Jesus was ultimately about one thing, God's one and only plan to redeem fallen man in order that His creation could come back into an eternal relationship with their Creator as he created them!"

I love and care about you so much. I see ZERO difference between the blasphemous book by Muslim Aslam and the new book by the theologically challenged O'Reilly on a network many Christians view on a daily basis. I have told you for over a decade that FOX News is no more Christian than MSNBC at the end of the day. They are about one thing, just like O'Reilly is about one thing, just like sadly most of the Christian churches and ministries today are about one thing..MONEY!!!

It is so sad to watch good people send hard earned money to tools of satan like Beck, pay for theological trash like O'Reilly's new book, give money to major ministries so they can buy a new private jet, or help fund a local churches newest building project. THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS SOULS, SINCE ONLY SOULS WILL EXIST FOR ALL ETENRITY!!

Instead of lining the pockets of O'Reilly for his theological nonsense, if 1600 people would take that $20 and send it to Liveprayer to help bring God's Truth to the marketplace and save souls, our September operations will be taken care of. Of course for "Pope" O'Reilly, it is not about souls, but MONEY!!!
