Paul Ryan and Spiritual Leaders vs Political Leaders

(Ezekiel 3:17; 33:6)

***ASK BILL: Pastor Bill, I am a teacher and bullying is a HUGE issue in schools and all over this nation. What is the fundamental sin behind bullying that drives children to do such evil to each other? Even the very younger ones are involved to the extreme that we have to have training and huge awareness plans in effect to be on top of this expanding problem.

ANSWER: Sadly, this is not anything new, it has simply escalated and is now getting the proper attention. Since Cain and Able, people sinned against others in horrible ways. As more children have grown up in broken and blended homes, not going to church, being desensitized to violence, and not viewing life as precious, the acts of violence against others has dramatically increased and will continue. It is a sad reality of this fallen world without any moral or ethical restraints.

The problems we have in our nation today are NOT political but spiritual, and the result of a void of spiritual leadership! If you are looking to politicians to lead this nation back you are DOOMED! In a few months, God will decide whether President Obama or Mitt Romney will be the political leader of this nation for the next 4 years. Whoever it is, because of who these men are, as I told you in November it is a furtherance of His judgment for our sins and forsaking the Almighty.

I have documented for 5 years why President Obama is an enemy of God in every sense of the word. I have also documented why the nation will suffer irreparable spritual damage having a 5th generation high priest of a cult that worships satan and propagates a false gospel leading souls to hell.

For those who still don't understand the 200 year goal of Romney's cult has been to gain mainstream acceptance, meaning many current unchurched and future generations will buy into their false doctrines and end up in hell, read this: "A key decision has been made to highlight Romney's Mormon faith at the upcoming Republican Convention rather than to downplay it. On the night that Romney addresses the convention, a member of the Mormon Church will deliver the invocation. In addition to the invocation, Mr. Romney's work as a bishop in the Mormon Church will be on display."

THIS is why I have warned you about Romney's cult brother who sees himself as the "Paul Revere," not warning this nation of pending doom, but ushering in the fulfillment of Smith's White Horse Prophecy and "the chosen one" as he was called since his youth as the first Mormon President. Beck has proudly brought his Mormon cult into the mainstream with the help of Biblical Christians who have bought into his LIE that he is a Christian. He has replaced Oprah as the most dangerous person on the planet since Jesus said don't worry about the one who can kill your body, worry about the one who can kill your soul!!!

NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHY I HAVE WARNED PEOPLE FOR YEARS ABOUT BECK, RAILED AGAINST THE MODERN DAY JUDAS' LIKE BARTON AND ROBISON WHO WERE BOUGHT AND PAID FOR TO GIVE HIM CREDIBILITY WITH MAINSTREAM CHRISTIANS SO IGNORANT TO BUY INTO HIS SHTICK???

Now add Paul Ryan to the Romney ticket. As you know, I could care less about politics, since that is not the answer to our problems. Ryan is a very intelligent man regarding the fiscal issues. However, even though he is a Roman Catholic, he has never been a leading voice for life or Biblical marriage. He certainly voted for those issues, but was never a leader on any of the spiritual issues of our day.

In addition, Ryan is a devotee of Ayn Rand. As my dear friend Alan Keys recently wrote about Ryan and his affection for Rand, "There's also the odor coming off his supposedly repudiated (but still awfully fresh-smelling) admiration for the God- and Christ-hating guru of self-righteous elitism, Ayn Rand. She's the idol of sophomoric "conservative" libertarians who a) haven't yet realized that her version of freedom for the "superior" people placidly contemplates loveless perdition for the rest; b) don't care that it does; or c) like Rand herself, wrong-righteously revel in that fact."

The point is, anyone who thinks Ryan as VP will in any way deal with the spiritual problems our nation faces is delusional. Romney as President will certainly not work to overturn Roe vs. Wade. As Governor of Mass. when he supported abortion, he instituted $50 co-pay abortions as part of his Romneycare that become the blueprint of the abomination we know as Obamacare. Gay marriage was also enacted under his watch as Governor, so anyone who thinks he will push for a Constitutional Amendment to define marriage as between a man and a woman is also incorrect.

This is why in the Old Testament, there were the political leaders, the kings, and the spiritual leaders, the priests. These were two very separate offices with two very separate roles to play. The king was the political leader of the people, analogous in our society to the President. The priest was the spiritual leader of the people, which would be the same as the pastor of a local church. God clearly established these as two separate offices. The governing of a nation and the shepherding of the spiritual lives of people are two separate and distinct roles.

THE ONLY ONE GOD CALLED TO BE BOTH PRIEST AND KING WAS JESUS CHRIST!!!

For some reason, many people in our nation look to our politicians for spiritual leadership. These men and women are NOT in office to provide spiritual leadership to the nation, but are there to govern our nation. It is a great blessing to have political leaders that have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and try to live their lives in accordance with God's Word, but we can never expect them to be spiritual leaders, that is NOT their role.

The role of spiritual leadership is one that God has given to those men and women He has called into His service. I want to tell you today that the problems we have in this nation today are NOT the fault of the political leaders, but are the fault of the spiritual leaders. The void of spiritual leadership in this nation is directly responsible for the state of the culture and society that we are living in today.

Today's spiritual leaders hide behind the four walls of their churches where it is safe, and they preach their message to the choir through the Christian media where it is profitable. There is now a large percentage of two full generations in our nation that have never been to church. The fastest growing religious movements in this nation today are the cults and false religions of the world because they are bold enough to take their lies that are straight from the pits of hell, directly to the people the church ignores. Every day, more and more people are dying and going to hell, and God is going to hold accountable those He has called into spiritual leadership.

I love you and care about you so much. We are at a critical time in our nation. Anyone who is expecting Obama or Romney to help this nation is 100% incorrect, since neither one can fix the real problems which are spiritual. There are more churches, more ministries, and more resources than ever before. The paradox is at the same time we have more people living their lives void of God and a society operating in total rebellion to God's Word. The blame has to fall squarely on those God has called into spiritual leadership. Contrary to popular belief, this is no longer a Christian nation. 50 years ago it was assumed most people were Christians. That is no longer the case.

We have got to understand that this is a war my friend, a war for the eternal souls of people. You simply can't open the doors of the church on Sunday morning and expect the people to come. Most people don't go to church and they never have, so why should they come? You can't put a program on Christian TV and radio and expect people to tune in. There are hundreds of stations to choose from, so why would they want to listen?

That is why God will raise up NEW SPIRITUAL LEADERS in these last days. Men and women with the guts to stand toe to toe with the world regardless of the consequences; men and women who can operate on a street corner just as effectively as they can behind a pulpit; men and women who will take the truth of God's Word, the hope and love of Christ to the people through the same delivery methods the world uses to take its lies to the people; men and women who are not ashamed of the Gospel and are not worried about being politically correct; men and women who are not here to be served but have come to serve others;

MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT BUILDING THE KINGDOM OF GOD THAN THEIR OWN KINGDOMS USING GOD'S NAME!!!

I pray, today, that you will not put your hopes in a politician. They can't fix the problems we have. I pray that you will find Godly men and women who He has called to lead the people in these final days. God always has a remnant, both of people and leaders. As these final days wind down, those true leaders will rise up and you will know who they are because you won't be able to miss them. They won't be hiding in a church or secluded on the Christian media, but they will be visible in this world we live in.

The world will scoff at what they have to say, they will be persecuted for their bold stand for Christ, but God will have His hand on them and their message will be heard by the masses. They will boldly declare to this lost, hurting, and dying world the TRUTH of God's Word, that Jesus Christ is the "way, the truth, and the life," and that He is the only answer for this world and each person.
