God Allows Men to Rise to Power and Takes Men Out of Power

(Jonah Chapter 3) It is GOD who allows men to rise to power and takes men out of power. I have been a bit surprised by the response to my Daily Devotional last Thursday regarding the upcoming election for President between a true enemy of God, President Obama, and the member of a satanic cult, Mitt Romney. Let me make this point blatantly clear. The problems in this nation are NOT political, they are spiritual. Are poor political decisions by this current administration making life difficult for tens of millions of people? Absolutely! However, even if a new President is elected to office, anyone who thinks difficult times won't continue is living in fantasy land. The fact is, I could care less about politics, since the root problems are NOT political but spiritual. The political problems we face aren't going away over night, since they weren't created overnight. NO President is going to have a quick fix. Having said that, we know that if President Obama is re-elected, he will continue his Godless policies of supporting the killing of babies, the radical homosexual agenda, and the enemies of Israel. However a Romney Presidency may help some of the political challenges this nation faces, it is a guarantee that he will also insure a million plus souls in this nation alone will end up in his cult and their souls damned to the flames of hell for all etenrity! The Mormon cult has been preparing for a Mormon President since they were founded 200 yrs ago by Joseph Smith and they believe Romney is "the chosen one" to fulfill that prophecy! As I stated last Thursday, Christians must pray and make a choice who to vote for as a good citizen, even if that vote is for a third party candidate who shares their faith views. Please remember, it is NOT Bill Keller who is going to re-elect President Obama, or help elect Mormon Mitt Romney, it is GOD who allows men to rise to power and takes men out of power! I can tell you that I don't want to be responsible for voting for a man who is a true enemy of God and will continue to execute policies in complete rebellion to the Almighty and His Word, nor will I be responsible for voting for a man who is the member of a satanic cult and will insure a million plus souls will burn in hell for eternity!!! The soul of this nation is at stake, and NO politician is going to lead this nation spiritually!!! The fact is, as I shared last November, if God allowed an Obama/Romney election, what people of faith should understand is that it means He is done with this nation and will remove His hand of blessing and protection from our land. How arrogant are we to think that God, who rained down His wrath and punishment on His chosen people, would spare us when we are 100x worse than the children of Israel in our sins and forsaking the Almighty? I love you and care about you so much. Tomorrow, I will be sharing a special Devotional as we prepare to take our stand for Christ and turn this nation back to God and His Truth for a season in a "Nineveh moment." God is taking His hand of protection and blessing from our nation, but not His people! He will help us to rise up in these last days and bring His message of real "hope and change" to the masses! After His death and resurrection, it was a handful of faithful followers who helped to spread the Gospel to the world of their day. It wasn't the religious leaders, or the churches of that day, it was the PEOPLE OF CHRIST who made it happen. In Nineveh, it wasn't a church or great organization that led that nation to repentance, it was the message of a lone evangelist Jonah, and the people of God who heard and believed that message! God may be done with this nation for our gross sins and wickedness, but there are still 7 BILLION people on this planet, the vast percentage on a conveyor belt to hell. My Bible says it is God's desire that ALL come to repentance, that none be lost. How will they hear the message unless they are told? That is what we are going to do in these coming weeks and months, make sure every person has heard the Gospel and see a revival, not just in this nation, but around the world!
