Now is the Time to Do Great Things for God

(2 Corinthians 8:3-4)

Now is the time to do great things for God!!! I have always loved to read about the man called Saul, who became Paul. A man who was a leader in persecuting the first church, had that incredible transformation on the Damascus Road, and then proceeded to live one of the greatest lives of service ever recorded.

Hours upon hours I have studied Paul's life, and in the end I came to the conclusion that his success in serving the Lord was due to the fact he had no fear of what God could do and lived out his belief that all things were possible with God. Listen to me closely. Paul did not just say it . . . HE LIVED IT!!! If you are going to do great things for God, you must have no fear and LIVE each day without doubting that God is able to do all things.

I hear many people condemn the church, condemn ministries for always talking about money. I agree that perhaps too much effort does go into fund-raising, but I want to remind you that one of the most effective fund-raisers in the history of the church was Paul himself. He understood that to spread the Good News in a massive way took the financial support of those who were already in the faith.

I appreciate his approach in that he always made it clear it was not the size of the gift, but the attitude of the heart that gave. It was not the amount, but the sacrifice involved. Paul was realistic because he understood that to take the Gospel to all the world, it required hard work, sacrifice, and finances. Being the intelligent man he was, I have, no doubt, that he sat down, figured out what it would take for each of his missionary journeys and the planting of the new churches, and then asked God for wisdom in how to raise the amount needed following God's plan.

My heart is so open this very moment as I am typing these words to you. I sense in my Spirit so many wanting to do more for the Lord, so many wanting to make a bigger impact. I want to tell you in love, the only thing stopping you is YOU! God is ready. We have a BIG God. He can do all things. Only YOU can limit what God can do!!!

I want this message to be an encouragement and a challenge for you to get out there and see how big God really is. Don't be afraid of failure because there is NO failure in the things of God. I am encouraged by the great men of vision alive at this point in time, men who have challenged God and done great things for God, men who were not satisfied sitting back waiting for someone else to do something.

God has given many of you reading this Devotional visions, plans of how to help me reach the lost, abilities to help me touch the hurting. The state of our society and the world we live in tells us that now more than ever, we must move forward with the visions and plans God gives us to reach people with the Gospel. This is a wake-up call to many of you that NOW is the time to move forward. Now is the time to make those dreams into reality.

NOW IS THE TIME TO DO GREAT THINGS FOR GOD!!!

Liveprayer has been on the front lines for the past 12 years. Our work is not finished just yet. God has called me to use the incredible resources we have developed over these past 12 yrs to help lead this nation back to Him and His Truth. I need your help! NOW IS THE TIME TO DO GREAT THINGS FOR GOD!!!

Three yrs ago, I had 15 people who were either high-end REAL ESTATE agents, home builders, or in the mortgage business. All of these people were making mid- 6 figures up into 7 figures. They loved the Lord and were able to send an average of $100k a year to God's work here at Liveprayer.

They were also the type of people I had built a relationship with, and in a time of need could call any one of them and they would overnight $5,000-$20,000 without question. That enabled me to never have to ever come to those we minister to in a financial emergency for help like I have been forced to recently

Sadly, the downturn in the economy, especially businesses associated with real estate, have devastated all 15 of these families. I pray for each of them daily as they simply try to salvage their businesses that also employ hundreds of people collectively, and keep their families afloat.

But I know that God always has a ram in the bush and that there are hundreds, even thousands, reading this today who have the ability to help me. The people of the world can come up with unlimited amounts of money to help lead souls to hell. For only $10 million, Liveprayer can not only see millions saved, but change the spiritual course of this nation. $10 million. That is nothing for God. That is nothing for His people who love Him!!!

I love you and care about you so much. We only get one life. This is our one and only opportunity to do great things for God our Creator! I am amazed at how simple people like you, who bought into the false "hope and change" of a politician seeking his own agenda, went out and raised thousands, in some cases millions, for this political cause based on smoke and mirrors that have proved to be fruitless.

I am coming to you today and asking you to help me for Jesus! Many of you have limited resources, but everyone has gifts and talents from God who can use those gifts and talents to help me fulfill God's work here at Liveprayer. In the process, we can see millions of souls re-routed from the flames of hell to the glory of Heaven while helping to lead our nation back to God and His Truth!

As we live in these critical days, now more than ever the lost masses who will die and end up in hell without faith in Jesus need to hear His Truth! Now more than ever, the lost and hurting masses who have never even been to church, need to hear the Truth of God's Word. That is what the mission of Liveprayer has been for nearly 11 yrs now. To utilized the Internet, the secular media, to bring the truth of the Bible to the hurting masses and the hope and love of Jesus Christ to the lost.

God is speaking to you today. This is not a coincidence that you are reading these words. Will you help me? Will you allow God to use your life, your gifts and talents to help me fulfill His mission for Liveprayer? WILL YOU DO GREAT THINGS FOR GOD???
