I Wish People Would Start Listening to What I Tell You

(John 14:6)

I wish people would start listening to what I tell you. In the past 72 hours, British Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary, who once said 'the flag of Islam will fly over the White House,' has announced he will lead a demonstration calling on Muslims to establish the Sharia law across America. Protests are now in full swing all over the Middle East, as Muslims see an opportunity to not just dominate the religion of these countries, but rule them as well like in Iran!

While the House voted to cut-off all Federal funds for Planned Parenthood, something I have been writing about for the past 6 years, sadly even if it passes the Senate, which is unlikely, our pro-death President will veto it.

Now more than ever, we don't need another church on some corner, or another preacher wanting to be rich and famous on Christian TV, but a VOICE, an uncompromised, trusted voice for Biblical Truth in the marketplace that can effectively articulate the Christian worldview. As each day unfolds, more and more I see the time being ripe to change the spiritual direction in this nation like never before. People are afraid, people are hurting, people are uncertain, people are simply looking for real hope and answers!

These are challenging times in our nation, the world we live in, here at Liveprayer, and for so many families. Civil unrest is now becoming a daily occurrence across our nation, as people rise up against many state governments as well as the Federal government over budget cuts necessary to bring some fiscal responsibility back to governments at every level. Across the Middles East, you have daily protests, often violent, as citizens rise up against those in power, demanding more freedoms and rights.

After a drop of nearly 65% in donations over the past 2 years due to the economic downturn, Liveprayer is doing all we can to simply continue with our basic daily operations, having cut everything possible to keep operating. Every day, we are praying for and counseling people who have been out of work for many many months, losing or having lost their home, simply trying to pay the bills to live from one day to the next.

It is in these times we can often start wondering where is God? Why has He forsaken us? The fact is God has not forsaken us, we have forsaken Him! The nation's of the world, including the United States, live in all out rebellion to God and His Truth. We bow down and worship every false god and idol man has created in his rebellious mind. Why is anyone surprised at the all out turmoil this world is in, and the enemies of God are on the rise!

My friend, there is only one hope for the Middle East, for the United States, for Liveprayer, for you and your family, for every person alive...JESUS!!! He, and He alone is our only hope and answer for the problems in our world, nation, and lives. Now more than ever we need to turn to Him like never before. He promised to never leave us nor forsake us. Jesus doesn't lie. Now is the time we must reach out to Him like never before.

In the Daily Devotional, I have put what is happening in the Middle East in Biblical perspective. For nearly 12 years, I have warned you that if we don't turn back to God and His Truth as a nation, we will see His wrath and punishment. The hope of each family who is struggling, the hope of each person, is to put our faith in hope of Jesus like never before. Only He can lead us through this difficult time, despite what happens to this nation and the world around us.

Liveprayer has cut back all we can to continue our daily operations, feeding over 2.4 million souls worldwide each day, sending personal responses to over 40,000 emails every day for prayer and counsel, all for free. We are on the verge of having our permanent location at ground zero finalized, to give us a high profile physical presence to daily proclaim the Gospel to the lost and hurting in that great city. Along with the daily TV program on superstation WWOR, we have the vehicle to literally change the spritual course of tens of millions of lives as well as this nation and world!

As we head into the last week of February, we need to bring in $20,000 to cover our monthly operating budget. In addition, we need to start raising the funds to open the permanent home of the "9-11 Christian Center at Ground Zero," that includes airing the Liveprayer TV program on superstation WWOR in the New York City media market.

The key is the $500,000 we need by the end of this month, $90,000 of that is needed right away. After praying, the most efficient way to get this initial amount in on time is to break it up into 100 $5,000 units. So far, we have had 10 units committed. In addition, one dear friend can only take 1/2 unit and is looking for someone to take the other half. Another friend of the ministry has issued a challenge to match the next 3 units. That means your unit will be doubled!

We will be placing a gorgeous plaque in the lobby of the new center with 100 engraved leafs, each one in honor or memoriam of someone special in the life of the person giving the $5,000 unit for that leaf. Also, for a special gift of $100,000, we will name the new chapel in honor of a person the donor designates.

In addition, I need 100 people to give a gift of $1,000 for the "9-11 Memorial Prayer Room." We will also have a special plaque there with 100 leafs engraved in honor of the person the donor designates.

--->Lastly, to help cover the construction costs of the new "9-11 Christian Center at Ground Zero," we have 10,000 bricks that people can personally engrave for $100 each, that will form the main walls of the sanctuary where souls will be saved, and a nation will be turned back to God and His Truth!!! I am asking you today to pray about taking 1 or more of the units we are offering, or at least one engraved brick. I realize for many this could be an incredible sacrifce, but when have you ever had the opportunity to be part of something that can literally change the spiritual direction of this nation???
