God is Speaking to the Nation that Our Hope is in Turning Back to the Almighty and His Truth
(James 1:17)
God is trying to speak to the people of this nation that our hope is not in a man, but in turning this nation back to the Almighty and His Truth! Today, I want to look at 4 separate issues that I believe is God clearly using to get the attention of the people in this nation that He and He alone is God and our only true hope. First is the now clear proof that President Obama is a Muslim. Second is the oil spill in the Gulf. Third is the victory of Alvin Green in the South Carolina Democratic primary for the US Senate. Fourth is the references to "God" in President Obama's address to the nation Tuesday night.
In January and on several other occasions this year, President Obama has met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Abul Gheit. On a Nile TV broadcast in which Egyptian Foreign Minister Abul Gheit was a guest on the "Round Table Show," he stated that he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama who swore to him that "he was a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father and step-son of Muslim step-father, that his half-brothers in Kenya were Muslims, and that he was loyal to the Muslim agenda. He asked that the Muslim world show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic American problems, that he would show the Muslim world what he would do with Israel."
This would clearly explain why he recently dissed Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. This would also explain why our President has shown clear support for the Palestinians and their agenda to wipe the state of Israel off the face of the earth. Of course, President Obama claims to be a Christian, yet as I have clearly documented, he has NEVER talked about his conversion, that moment when he asked Christ to forgive him for his sins and accept Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. He also has acted in 100% opposition to God and His Word on EVERY spiritual issue of the day. From his support of killing babies, to gay marriage, to the radical homosexual agenda, to the enemies of Israel, there is not ONE ISSUE President Obama takes a Biblical stand on.
The well explosion and oil spill in the Gulf is a horrible accident, but one God clearly allowed to happen. Sadly, 11 workers lost their lives in the intial explosion. Over the past 2 months, the incompetence of the government to respond in a meaningful way has destroyed the Gulf coast for decades. The fishing and tourism industries will not fully recover for many decades, if ever. The administration's moratorium on further drilling will also destroy the oil and gas industry that is so critical to the states along the Gulf coast, not to mention their contribution to the energy needs of our nation.
I remember in a Devotional nearly 2 years before the Presidential election in 2008, when most people didn't even know who Barak Hussein Obama was, due to my Chicago connections I introduced those in the Liveprayer family to this man. In that introduction, I clearly stated that he was not in any way qualified to run this nation. The fact was, he had never even run a lemonade stand in his life. He had no practical experience in being the CEO of any origination, and to make him the CEO of this nation was insane. In the 17 months he has been in office, if there is one thing that is now crystal clear, it is that President Obama has NO CLUE how to solve or manage even basic problems that arise on a daily basis. God has clearly used the oil spill in the Gulf to make that point abundantly clear to everyone.
That takes us to the victory last week by Alvin Green in the South Carolina primary to determine who would represent the Democrats to face incumbent Republican Senator Jim DeMint in November. Many claim that Green was some sort of a plant, that his candidacy had to be a prank, or that some fraud had occurred since he spent zero dollars, held no campaign meetings, didn't even have a website, yet won over the other Democratic challenger handedly. Eventually the truth of Green's candidacy will come out, but if nothing else, I see God using this to show people how foolish politics can be and how those who put their hope and faith in a politician will always be disappointed. That will be the topic of tomorrow's Devotional you don't want to miss!
Lastly, was the President's invocation of prayer and God in his address to the nation Tuesday night. I totally agree with the President. We MUST pray. God is the ONLY hope we have for the Gulf oil spill, but also for this nation as a whole! If this was a true man of God, he would call this nation to prayer. Not to the imaginary, non-existent god of Islam, but to the God of the Bible! Also, memo to President Obama. Asking God to bless the United States at the end of your speech is a nice thought, but God can't and won't bless sin!
If you really want God to bless this nation, STOP supporting the legalized infanticide of 4,000 innocent babies each day, STOP supporting the perversion of God's Holy Institution of Marriage thru same-sex marriages, STOP supporting the radical homosexual agenda, STOP supporting the enemies of Israel. We need God to bless this nation, but if we want God's blessings, we must honor and obey God!!!
I love you and care about you so much. As the Bible commands, PRAY for President Obama and pray for his family. Pray that he will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and accept the Lord as his Savior. Pray that he will turn his heart to Christ and begin to serve the Lord in the office God allowed him to hold for this brief time. Pray for the families of the 11 killed when the oil rig exploded, for them to know the Lord's comfort in this time of great loss. Also, pray for all those in the Gulf who have had their lives affected by this horrible disaster. Lastly, pray for those involved in the clean-up, that God will guide them in their efforts.
Please pray for this nation to turn back to God and HIS Truth. It is our only hope. The time is short, Jesus is coming soon. Don't miss the Devotional tomorrow since it will expand on the fact that no politician, or political commentator, is going to lead this nation back to righteousness. Now more than ever, we need men and women of God to stand up and share that Christ and Christ alone is our hope now and for all eternity. I pray for God's blessings upon our nation, but I pray first that we will turn back to God and be worthy of asking for His blessings!!!
In His love and service, Your friend and brother in Christ, Bill Keller
