House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Must Pursue Public Policies in Keeping with the Values of Jesus Christ

(John 1:1, Isaiah 29:13; James 3:9,10)

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) recently said that she believes she must pursue public policies "in keeping with the values" of Jesus Christ, "The Word made Flesh." At a May 6 Catholic Community Conference on Capitol Hill, the speaker said: "They ask me all the time, 'What is your favorite this? What is your favorite that? What is your favorite that?' And one time, 'What is your favorite word?' And I said, 'My favorite word? That is really easy. My favorite word is the Word, is the Word. And that is everything. It says it all for us. And you know the biblical reference, you know the Gospel reference of the Word."

I have a message for House Speaker Pelosi. Supporting the legalized slaughter of innocent babies is NOT "in keeping with the values of Jesus Christ!" Supporting the perversion of God's Holy Institution of Marriage by same-sex couples is NOT "in keeping with the values of Jesus Christ!" Supporting the radical homosexual agenda is NOT "in keeping with the values of Jesus Christ!" Supporting the enemies of Israel is NOT "in keeping with the values of Jesus Christ!" As a matter of fact, there is not one, NOT ONE spiritual issue of our day that you support that is "in keeping with the values of Jesus Christ!"

Speaker Pelosi can state how important "the Word" is, a reference to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but her actions state something quite different. Jesus would not supporting killing babies, or same-sex marriage, or the radical homosexual agenda, or those enemies of Israel who want to see God's chosen people wiped off the face of this earth. She makes a mockery of Jesus in even saying such a thing.

The prophet Isaiah said it so well in the anchor verse for today. "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me." It is not what you say that makes you Godly, it is what you do! Please don't get me wrong. I am not saying that we should not give God all of the glory, honor, and praise that He deserves. WE MUST! But God is more interested in how we honor Him with our lives.

The greatest impact that we can have on someone we are close to is not by what we say, but how we live our life. Our most powerful testimony is not our words, but our actions. The greatest impact that you can have on unsaved family members, friends, those that you may see at school or work, is not what you will say to them about Jesus, but how you show them Jesus in YOUR day to day life.

I love you and care about you so much. Please join me in praying for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. I pray today for her salvation. Nobody that is truly saved could ever support everything our Lord spoke against. Like many in ALL churches, not just the Roman Catholic Church, she has bought into the lie that being "good" will get you to Heaven.

Sadly, that is the message people get at these seeker/purpose driven/emerging churches, as well as many institutionalized denominational churches where they never hear about sin or receive invitation to accept Christ as their Savior by faith. Instead, they are fed a feel good, motivational message that gives them the false sense of security that as long as they "try hard" and are "good," they will make it to Heaven.

THAT IS A DAMNABLE LIE FROM SATAN LEADING THE SOULS OF COUNTLESS MILLIONS TO THE ETERNAL FLAMES OF HELL!!!

It today you are not certain of your salvation, or have never made the conscious decision to accept Jesus Christ into your heart and life by faith, take a few minutes and go to the following link. Read the words, watch the short video, and pray the prayer so that you will never have to wonder or worry again about your eternal home. Also, please share this link with someone you know who is not saved.

I pray today that just because someone uses the name "God", or "Jesus", or "Christian", that you just don't automatically accept all that they say and do. You can't be "of God" and then blatantly live in 100% opposition to God or His Word. The Bible iis our final authority in all matters, the ABSOLUTE TRUTH that we base our very lives on.

So people like Speaker Pelosi can invoke the name of Jesus, pray all they want, but that does NOT make what they are doing "of God." God is not impressed with our words, but our actions. My question to you today is this: "Do you honor God with your lips or with your life?"

In His love and service, Your friend and brother in Christ,. Bill Keller
