Daily Devotional for Sunday May 16, 2010
I Love You
(1 Corinthians 13)
Sadly, many will not hear those 3 wonderful words today. So I want to make sure that I let you know today that I love YOU! If you like what I write, I love you. If there are days that you may not like what I write, I still love you. If you pray for me and this ministry, I love you. If you NEVER pray for me or this ministry, I still love you. If you are led by God to give to the work here, I love you. If you NEVER give to this work, I still love you.
There are many of you that God has used in a powerful way to help us expand the work here over the last 42 months and I love you. There are many Satan has used to try and stop the work of God here at Liveprayer, and I still love you. You see my friend, my love for you has NO CONDITIONS! THAT is "agape" love, or that special love that only comes from God because it is unconditional, and there is nothing you can do to stop me from loving you!
There is no greater gift than the gift of love. It was out of love that Christ came to this earth to give His life for the sins of this world. That was the greatest example of love there ever was. When I wake up each morning, I realize that the greatest way I can show Christ's love to you is by coming to my office, sitting down at my computer, and as the Holy Sprit direct me, giving you something practical that you can hold on to that will help you through your day.
I can say I love you 1 million times, but as my mother used to tell me, "Talk is cheap," and "Actions speak louder than words." So while I SAY I love you, I attempt to SHOW you that I love you through the words that God gives for me to share with you each and every day.
You see, it is NO ACCIDENT that you are receiving these words each day in your email. It is NO ACCIDENT that God has allowed our lives to cross paths for this season. The fact is, there are billions of people living in our world today. Close to 2 million of those get this Devotional every day. While I have a love for everyone who lives, and a concern for their souls, I have a great love for you because God has brought our lives together!
Of the billions living, it is only the couple of million or so God has allowed me to share with each day that I am personally responsible for. Personally responsible for in the sense that God has brought our lives together for a period of time, and during that period of time, I AM responsible for sharing the ABSOLUTE TRUTH of His Word with you, caring for your needs and concerns, and letting you know that no matter what, I am here, I love you, I care about you, and you are NOT ALONE!!!
One thing I know without a doubt. Not ONE PERSON who reads this Devotionals is not going through something in their life. NOT ONE!!! I want you to know that Jesus loves you, Bill Keller loves you, and the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you no matter what trial or tribulation that you are currently living through. As much as I love you, God loves you even more. He is with you always, especially in those darkest days.
I come to you each day to let you know that you are not alone, to encourage you, and to pray for you. The whole reason God has raised Liveprayer up in these last days is to pray for the needs of people like you who are going through the storms of life that we all go through. So, never hesitate to email me at bkeller@liveprayer.com anytime that I can help you.
I love you. I REALLY DO! I care about you. I REALLY DO! A few weeks ago the Devotional that I wrote was forwarded by someone to an old business acquaintance from my life in the '80s when making money was my only goal in life. This person and I had some very successful business dealings. He had not heard from me over these last 20 years that I have been in ministry, and as we shared about our lives the question he asked was a very legitimate one. He said, "Bill, don't you miss the deals, the money, all the luxuries that life has to offer?"
I had to honestly think for a moment before answering. After a few moments I told him NO. That chasing the things of this world is a wasted effort since one day, when our life is over, those things will not matter any longer. God has given me a very special job to do in these last days. The things of this world will be gone one day, but the lives that we can impact for Christ will live for eternity!!!
I wouldn't trade what I am doing for all the gold in the world. I get up each morning, faithfully do what God has called me to do, and I would not trade this great honor for anything. My ultimate job in life is to serve and glorify God with my life. I have been richly blessed to be able to do that every day through the incredible 24/7 ministry of Liveprayer. The ONLY thing that I ask God for each day, is to allow me to do this until Jesus returns.
Despite all of the headaches that are involved in this type of ministry, despite all of the massive attacks from inside and outside the Christians community on our work here, it is all worth it...because of YOU!! I do NOT say "I love you" lightly. I mean it. It is no accident that God brought us together for this season of our lives. My goal is to inspire you, encourage you, and challenge you. But above all, let me assure you that no matter what . . . YOU ARE LOVED!!!
In His love and service, Your friend and brother in Cnrist,
Bill Keller
