The Journey of Faith We Share

(Philippians 3:14)

The journey of faith we share--the aspect of Paul's letters to the churches I love the most is his transparent personal reflections on his own life and journey. While he preaches and teaches in those letters, he also uses them as an opportunity to share his personal life with the reader. Over the 10+ years I have been writing the Daily Devotional, I have tried my best to be transparent in sharing my personal life, both my past and present failures, struggles, and triumphs. You see, we are all on the same journey of faith through this life, simply trying to do our best each day to serve and honor God in the midst of the real life challenges we face along our way.

Over the course of these 127+ months of Liveprayer, it has been my great joy to see young adults go through their high school years, others their college years, and stand with them through the various events in their lives through these young adult years. I have been blessed to pray for so many couples as they planned to commit their lives together in God's Holy Institution of Marriage and see them make that lifetime commitment to each other. It has been an honor to share the joy of parents preparing for the birth of their child, praying for that baby in the womb, and rejoicing with them as their baby is born.

I am also grateful to have been able to be here to comfort so many as they dealt with the death of their mom, dad, husband, wife, child, or others that were special in their life. Of course each day I pray for so many dealing with the day to day trials of life at school, on their jobs, with their finances, those battling health issues, those seeking to be set free from whatever bondage they may be in, in addition to about any type of situation, circumstance, or need you can imagine that we face during our lives. We are all on this journey of faith through life together and one of my great joys is to share this journey of faith with you each and every day, doing my best to help you along your way.

During these past 127+ months as God has continued to bless and expand the outreach of Liveprayer, I have openly shared with you the intimate details of all that we are doing. For those who have been with me since the beginning, you have witnessed first hand this miracle God has raised up in these last days to take His Truth and the hope and love of Christ to the world each and every day. The Daily Devotional that initially went to a handful of subscribers now goes to over 2.4 million people worldwide every day. The few prayer requests we received and sent personal answers to now number over 40,000 every single day. From those, we have over 4 million praise reports archived as a testimony of God's grace and mercy at work in our lives. Most important, over 400,000 souls we know of have come to faith in Christ through his work here over the years.

Over 7 years ago, God spoke to my heart about going on secular television. Liveprayer.com had finally come to a place where the financial needs were being met each month, we were reaching app. 1.7 million people daily, and it would have been very easy to be "satisfied." But one morning God challenged me and simply asked me, "Bill, is that all you have for me?" I was deeply convicted. I had no idea how or if we could ever get a TV program on a secular network that was not going to be your typical preaching, teaching program, but a "live" interactive program that without compromise shared the Truth of God's Word. But you see, God already had made the way. I had no idea how we would ever pay for such a TV program if we could get it on. But you see, God already had the people's hearts prepared to meet that need.

We have done over 1650 "live" broadcasts on major secular TV stations and networks, and several hundred radio programs on secular radio. Literally millions around the world have seen the program. The programs went into hiatus last August due to our financial struggles. Over these past 8 months I knew that our work on secular TV and radio was not over, since it would be our key component to leading this nation back to God and Biblcial Truth. I am sure Paul was very pleased after his first missionary journey and all it accomplished for the Lord. What drove him to go on his second? His third? Paul was never satisfied with what he had done, but continued to be challenged by what was still to do and pressed forward towards that prize to his very last breath.

I am excited to announce that the Liveprayer TV program will be going back on the air every Monday thru Friday on a major network affiliate in the Ft. Myers/Naples market starting next Monday. For those who don't live in that market, we will have the program archived on the Liveprayer.com website so that you can watch it. It is only going to cost us $8,000 a month for the airtime and production costs, but the difference this time is we have our Gold for Souls program as the financial component to generate enough revenues each month to cover those costs, plus, enable us to use the surplus to add more stations every month, all helping us pay off our outstanding debt and gain a national presence to help the hurting, save the lost, and lead this nation back to God and His Truth!!!

One small hurdle is covering the $8,000 for the first month, since the proceeds of our GodlforSouls program will take a month to start flowing in.. Liveprayer has operated for 127+ months on faith and each month God has moved on people's hearts to support the work we are doing for Him. So I have no doubt the Lord will lead one or two people over the next few weeks to help me cover this expenditure.

The Lord has opened the door for me to boldly proclaim His truth and Christ's love to a secular TV audience the same way I do each day in the Daily Devotional. This is not the type of program you will ever see on Christian TV, let alone secular TV! It is an incredible opportunity to do something great for the Kingdom and really fulfill our ultimate purpose in this life which is to serve and glorify Him. People complain every day about what is on TV, well, God has raised up the Liveprayer program to battle the garbage you see and this is your opportunity to do something to make a difference. We can't ever take the garbage off TV, but we now have a vehicle that will compete head to head with the false-hope merchants like Oprah and all of the lies and sinful messages the masses are receiving each day thru their television.

You see my friend, God has called LIVEPRAYER to reach the lost and hurting outside the 4 walls of the church. When you are trying to reach those who are already part of the church, utilizing these types of business avenues to generate revenues is acceptable. But the lost in this world see the church as nothing but a business. God told me as Liveprayer was being birthed that I was to follow Paul's model for fundraising and that was to simply share the needs and trust God to move on people's hearts to provide. Again, as someone who spent a decade of my life very successfully in the business world, it was a real test of my faith, but for 70 months, God has never failed.

THINK ABOUT THIS FOR A MOMENT. The world of his day was touched by the Gospel as Paul made his three missionary journeys. Those journeys were made as God challenged Paul in his service to the Lord. It was Paul's responsibility to make them happen. The world was going to keep on going if he went or not. Today, we see can look back and see the impact for God's Kingdom, not to mention, those whose lives who were saved and transformed by Christ due to Paul's obedience. It is my responsibility to follow God's direction and expand the Liveprayer TV program. The world will keep going on if the program never airs again. However, just like we can look back on the impact it has had on so many lives these past 7 years, and years from now we will be able to see the impact it has had on millions of people for Christ as long as I am obedient and follow God's plan.

I want you to hear my heart this morning. Knowing that there are people out there hurting, looking for direction, looking for answers, and that I have the answer they are looking for is what drives me each day. Even more important, knowing that there are people out there who will never be reached by the church, by most ministries, that will die and go to hell for all eternity unless they come to know Christ by faith, and I have the words of everlasting life they so desperately need keeps me from ever being satisfied. As long as someone out there needs Jesus, I can't rest! Until this nation turns back to God and Biblical Truth, I can't rest!

I love you and care about you so much. I am so thankful to God each and every day for the incredible privilege and honor He has given me to share this journey of faith with you each day. I will be here to do my very best to guide you by His Word, encourage you, and pray for you as you face the day to day trials of life along the way. IT IS NO ACCIDENT OR COINCIDENCE THAT GOD HAS ALLOWED OUR PATHS TO CROSS FOR THIS SEASON. I am also here today to challenge you. God challenged me several years ago when we started the TV program by asking me, "Bill, is that all you have for me?" I want to simply ask you today, are you giving God all you have or do you have more?

In His love and service, Your friend and brother in Christ, Bill Keller
