Are you ready to take a stand for Christ yet???
Word came from California yesterday that the California Supreme Court accepted three lawsuits seeking to nullify Proposition 8, a voter-approved constitutional amendment that overruled the court's decision in May that legalized gay marriage. Don't be shocked if once again this renegade group of judges finds some justification to reinstate gay marriage in California. They have already nullified the will of the people once on this issue.
Are you ready to take a stand for Christ yet???
Why did eHarmony, a private business, settle so quickly a New Jersey case that is now forcing this "Christian" Internet dating site to match homosexual couples? I distinctly remember 2 years ago getting lambasted by Christians for taking a stand against eHarmony. Liveprayer had negotiated a deal with eHarmonyt to be a major sponsor for our national TV program. I cancelled that deal, forfeiting the $2.5 million it would bring the ministry annually after finding out that eHarmony founder, Neil Clark Warren, was selling out to secular interests who would be adding homosexual dating to the site.
Warren has major ties to James Dobson and Focus on the Family. Focus published all of Warren's books prior to his starting eHarmony, and it was the constant personal endorsement of Dobson on his national radio program that made eHarmony the financial success it was. Knowing that Dobson never does anything for free, I have no doubt that Focus benefited handsomely from Warren's success.
Here is an excerpt from my October 9, 2006 Daily Devotional-
"The principles have basically sold out to secular financiers who are taking eHarmony in a secular direction. They now promote unequally-yoked relationships and I am told they have in the planning stages a new section for same-sex couples. Again, this was projected to bring in about $2.5 million annually to Liveprayer, but there is absolutely no way I will be involved with these types of destructive relationships for any amount of money."

In case you missed it, yesterday was "Transgender Day of Remembrance." This is celebrated every year on November 20th along with a whole host of special days throughout the year celebrated by the gay community.

Look for the new Congress to enact some sort of "Hate Speech" legislation that will make it illegal to speak out against the sin of homosexuality, even from the Bible. It is already a law on the books in Canada and many European countries. It will be just the beginning of the persecution true followers of Christ and the Bible are going to face.

The pro-death people are simply giddy over the fact their hero, their champion, takes office on January 20th. They will be looking for him to fulfill his promise to them to enact the Freedom of Choice Act, insuring that on-demand abortions at any stage of the pregnancy remain legal in all 50 states. Through a series of Executive Orders, soon-to-be President Obama will be insuring that the legalized slaughter of babies is not interrupted here in the United States, but that we will also help fund and not prohibit in any way babies in other countries around the world from being slaughtered.

The economic meltdown not only continues, but is getting worse. The Dow was under 8,000 for the first time in 5 yrs on Wednesday, over 40% off the highs of just one year ago. Over 8 TRILLION in net worth has been wiped out in the past 12 months, much of that in the past 90 days. The man called the world's greatest stock investor, Warren Buffet, has seen his Berkshire Hathaway stock lose 41% this year alone. Economists, politicians, and business gurus are still flopping around like fish out of water looking for answers. There are no economic answers, since this is a spiritual problem!

Our emails for prayer are up nearly 20% in the past few moths, almost all from people who have lost jobs or are in economic distress. Many are coming from elderly people who have seen so much of their life savings wiped out that they are now trying to go back to work just to live. As I have told you over these past few moths, this is not going to end for many years. God is starting to judge this nation, and He is doing it in a way that is affecting everyone to some degree, through the economy.
Are you ready to take a stand for Christ yet???
I love you and care about you so much. God is beginning to rock this nation and this world. The rumblings have begun. Now is the time, this is the moment for true followers of Christ to take their stand for Him. DO NOT MISS THE DEVOTIONAL NEXT TUESDAY AS I LAY OUT A BATTLE PLAN FOR THOSE READY TO TAKE THEIR STAND. Those in bondage to homosexuality are in full battle mode. The culture of death in this nation and world is like a dark cloud that won't go away. The economy is turning millions of lives upside down.
Through all of this upheval, we have an incredible opportunity to see souls won for Christ. As God's judgment and wrath begins to pour out across the globe, people are going to be looking for hope, looking for answers. This is our moment in human history to make our lives count for Christ. When you accepted the Lord, you gave your life to Him. It is no longer your life. Now is the time to fully surrender your life to Christ and let Him use you for His glory. When this brief journey is over, the things of this world will pass away. The only things that will matter are those things you did for Christ.
