The Coming Judgment of God on this Nation - Part 2

The coming judgment of God on this nation, the rise of the anti-Christ, and the hope of the last days remnant.

Part Two of Two.

***The Daily Devotional the last two days have been very different. On Monday night's TV program, I dealt with the coming judgment of God on this nation, a very logical strategy for how the anti-Christ will come on the scene, and the hope of those true followers of Jesus Christ in these last days. It was one of those nights when the Holy Spirit came upon me as I was speaking, and shared a powerful word with the TV audience. It is a word that I must share with you as well. Be prepared, since it is a difficult word. You will need to pray over part two today. Please, it is critical that you read BOTH parts so you have the full word. May the Lord bless you richly as He prepares you for what is ahead, and how you can make your life count for Christ in these last days.

Things are going to get difficult. I don't have to tell many of you that because things are already difficult. I'm dealing every day with an incredible increase in the number of people whose lives have literally been turned upside down over the last couple of years. They can't find any employment. They have no finances. This is only going to get worse and include many more people in the coming weeks and months. Trust me when I tell you despite all of the rhetoric and wonderful plans, Senators McCain and Obama haven't got any answers. They haven't got a clue how to deal with these incredibly complex economic issues, and whoever is the next President is going to inherit a nightmare that has no immediate answer.

I would be willing to bet neither of these men have even balanced a checkbook. They are both relying on whatever economists and financial experts they have attached themselves to. If anyone thinks either of them is going to waltz in and fix all the economic problems in this country, they are out of their minds. What has either of these men ever run? Maybe a lemonade stand as a kid? If you listen to all of their promises, they are going to make sure everybody gets to go to college, they are going to give money to these people and those people, and everyone will have health care, and tax breaks for this group and that group. It makes your head spin listening to all of their promises that are impossible to deliver on!

Where are they going to get these trillions of dollars to do all this? There's only one way the government can raise money and that is thru taxing the people, trying to get as much money as they can out of people and businesses who are successful and are making it. How else can they fund all these great ideas? The fact is they haven't got a clue and whoever is elected will be walking into a nightmare with no real answers. The point I'm making is things are going to get very difficult for a large percentage of people. Many are already suffering, and more are going to suffer in the coming months and years ahead.

I believe that in the course of all that is happening now and as things get worse, people are going to start looking outside of themselves for answers. Believe me when I say, every charlatan, every false prophet, every whack job in the world is going to come out of the woodwork. They always do in difficult times, claiming to have the answers people are looking for. Cults like the Mormons, false religions like Islam, false prophets claiming to be Jesus, they all are going to have a field day trying to lure people into following their lies that will lead the souls of men to hell.

The good news for those who know Jesus as their Savior, they don't have to fear any man or whatever unfolds. The good news is those who know Christ as their Savior already have their eternal home prepared. We're just passing thru this temporal world, but we're here with a purpose to serve and glorify God during for however many days He blesses us with in this life. I believe as these events are starting to unfold, we're going to see the greatest harvest of souls the world has ever seen.

Sadly, many of our churches have lost their way like the 7 churches in Revelation, but there will be a remnant of God's people who will rise up in these last days and call people to repentance and to bring in that last great harvest before the trump sounds and our Lord returns. I believe in my heart of hearts that we are approaching those moments. Too much happening. Too much going on. Last year and throughout the first part of this year, I shared my heart with you many times, stating that this would be the most important year in human history. Now I know most people will listen to a message like this and just roll their eyes. They will say let me get back to my TV program, I'm too busy, what has this got to do with me. Well that's the problem. We can't even see the signs that God is showing us. We've become so spiritually blind, so spiritually deaf, that we can't even begin to see what's happening right before our eyes.

All I can do is be an Elijah, be a Jeremiah, be a Jonah and just declare what God says and warn the people like Ezekiel did. Those who refuse to hear and see, who ignore the warnings will perish. But in addition to warning the people, I believe God has called me to use this great technology we've harnessed to become a gathering place for the last days remnant thru the Jonah Project. Now is the time, this is the moment that God is calling true followers of Christ to come together as one. Rise up!!! I know most of the world can't even hear this message. I know most the church can't even hear this message. But I know there's a remnant out there who have eyes to see and ears to hear what God is saying! We are gathering that remnant to take our stand for Christ as these last days unfold. Amen!

While most churches are busy building new entertainment centers that will one day soon be reduced to rubble, most ministries are seeing how much money they can accumulate and how many of the temporal things of this world they can amass, the new breed of pastor is more worried about dealing with the social issues that confront the world instead of dealing with the spiritual issues leading the souls of men to hell, the Great Commission and the Gospel has not changed. Our assignment has not changed since the first church in the Book of Acts. The mission of the church is to take Jesus to this lost and hurting world. He is the one and only hope there is!!!
