There is No Question If You Have a Passion for Something It Will Show in Your Daily Life

(1 Kings 18:21)

There is no question that if you believe something, or if you have a passion for something, it shows in your daily life. Those who have a passion for sports, live and breathe sports. Those who have a love for classical music, will have a collection of classical music CDs and attend live events where classical music is played. Those who have a passion for politics are obvious when they speak about the political issues of the day. People who believe in something, who have a passion for something, live that belief in their daily lives.

The question I have for you today is this. If you have committed your life to Christ, and you believe what the Bible says, do you live that belief in your day-to-day life?

The Bible profoundly states that you will know a tree by the fruit it bears. You see, a tree may claim to be an apple tree, but unless it produces apples that claim is empty. The proof that it is an apple tree is when it produces the apples. We can claim to be Christian, but unless we are producing the fruits of a Christian life, that claim is empty. Some of the fruit a Christian produces is found in the book of Galatians, Chapter 5, verses 22 and 23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." These become the outward evidence of our inward commitment to Christ.

You see my friend, the fact is if we really believe in the truth of God's Word and in Jesus Christ, we will live out that belief each and every day in our life. The more passionately we believe in something, the more passionately we live out those beliefs. My goal today is to challenge you to reflect on your faith in Christ, and how you live out that faith in the course of your daily life.

I get discouraged to see people who have chosen to reject the truth of God's Word and Jesus Christ in their lives, living out their beliefs with passion each day. Those who are lost and blinded by sin passionately commit their lives each day to living out the sinful path they have chosen to walk. Nothing stops them. Nothing gets in their way. They are focused and will not be deterred. However, too many who profess faith in Christ and believe the Bible to be true, will waver; and meekly and shyly tiptoe through their day, trying to make sure nobody ever really knows what they believe.

LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO NOT LIVE PASSIONATELY FOR CHRIST EACH AND EVERY DAY IF YOU REALLY BELIEVE IN HIM!!!

I love you, and care about you so much. My prayer today is that you will take a few minutes and ask God to strengthen your convictions and give you the boldness and courage to live your faith each and every day. Let there be no doubt in anyone's mind which God you serve. Let there be no doubt in anyone's mind who is your King. Let there be no doubt in anyone's mind that you are a blood-bought, born-again, son or daughter of the living God!!! Live out your faith in Christ each and every day for the world to see!!! If you believe it, live it!!!

***With 17 days left in August, we still need just over $30,000 to cover all of August's financial obligations.. I am asking you today to be praying about what God is calling you to do to help me this month as we look to keep this great outreach moving forward each day to reach more souls for Christ while bringing His Truth into the marketplace. It is your love, and prayers, and sacrifice that make it possible.

Thousands have sacrificed over these past 107 months as Liveprayer has impacted tens of millions of lives all over the world. This is your opportunity to join that faithful group as you give to help impact lives for all eternity. I am not asking you to make ridiculous pledges out of emotion, I am not going to pervert the Scriptures to give you false hope just to get you to give, I have no "love gifts" to offer you, nor am I asking you to give what you don't have.

I am simply asking you to pray and let the Holy Spirit guide you in taking your stand with me as we bring the hope of Christ to the lost and hurting. For some it may be a gift of $10 or $20, for others a gift of $50 or $100, and still others can give $200, $500, $1,000 or more. Simply give as you are able and let the Holy Spirit guide you.
