The Last 7 Months of 2008 and All the New Features of Liveprayer

(2 Timothy 3:1-7; John 14:1-3; Acts 1:10-11; Matthew 24:27)

The last 7 months of 2008 and all the new features of Liveprayer. Last year, on several occasions, I stated in the Daily Devotional that I felt this year, 2008, would be the most important year in human history. The last few remarks I made late in the year, included my feelings that this year would be a time of great change and upheaval. As this new year got underway, I have been more pointed in my comments regarding my feelings about this year, and clearly believe that in the last 7 months we are going to live through many incredible events. That is why I began, even last year, to prepare Liveprayer to be ready to be that great beacon of light in the marketplace, as the troubled masses look for answers and hope.

Let me share with you what I see happening over the course of these last 7 months of the year. As I have stated in past Devotionals, I truly believe we will experience another attack on our soil. Where, to what extent, I can't tell you, but all national security experts are on record stating that it is not a matter of if we get attacked again, only when and to what extent. I have stated numerous times that on the first Tuesday in November, we will elect a new President who will not be a friend of God. Neither Senators McCain or Obama are going to lead this nation on the key spiritual issues we are facing nor in any way try to guide this nation back to God and Biblical values.

Even worse, if Barak Hussein Obama is elected President, you can mark that date as the date God took His hand off of this nation!!! This has NOTHING to do with the color of his skin, since there are many black men who would be great Presidents. This has nothing to do with the fact he is a Democrat, since this nation survived 8 years of William Jefferson Clinton. This has to do with the FACT that he is a great supporter and proponent of legally slaughtering babies. This has to do with the FACT that he is a great supporter and proponent of re-defining God's Holy Institution of Marriage to include people of the same sex, re-defining God's plan for the family to include children being raised by those who choose to live in same sex relationships, and special rights for people who have chosen a lifestyle God calls an abomination and a sin. This has to do with the FACT that he is no friend of Israel, wanting to give away the land God Himself gave to the children of Israel, to the enemies of the Jewish people who want them dead and wiped off the face of the earth.

As the last 7 months of this year unwind, we are also going to see more economic hardships. Two major sectors of our economy, housing and energy, are already in trouble. These troubles will send ripples through other sectors and cause even more people to struggle financially. Remember the Devotional I did a few weeks back where I shared with you how God could very easily use the economy as the instrument of His judgment on this nation? It wouldn't take much and it would be devastating to a huge percentage of people. Look for more and more people to be affected by the economy in the coming months.

Lastly, I see a new and increased amount of persecution on the church and God's people during the rest of 2008. Never before in our nations history have Christians been challenged like they are today. Our faith, God's Word, and Jesus are now openly mocked in the media and the majority of this nation has thoroughly rejected Christ and Biblical Truth in their lives, the better percentage of the last two generations having never having even gone to church. The great freedoms we have enjoyed these past 232 years are swiftly eroding and there will continue to be real persecution on Christians and new efforts to silence the Gospel from being preached.

Just like years ago I warned those in the Liveprayer family about the homosexual agenda which has all come to pass, about the danger of Oprah who is finally being exposed for the tool of satan she is, how we would be shut out of the secular media unless it was just some watered down, feel good, motivational message, I saw this year as such a critical year that last year I began putting plans in motion to insure Liveprayer would be in a position to be a resource for the masses outside the four walls of the church as times get difficult and we start to feel God's wrath and judgment poured out on our nation.

You don't have to be much of a Bible reader to know that in addition to all the things the children of Israel did to invoke God's wrath by worshipping false gods and idols, their sexual immorality, and living in complete rebellion to His Truth, we also have added the sin of infanticide to our list of sins. We slaughter over 4,000 innocent babies in the nation every 24 hours. So it is not a matter of if we are due God's wrath and judgment, we are OVERDUE God's wrath and judgment!

In January, Liveprayer has successfully moved our TV program to the Internet, now airing "live" every Monday thru Friday form 10pm-11pm EDT. That television feed is 24/7, and while currently we play some of the great Liveprayer TV programs from over the years the rest of day, we will be adding fresh and exciting interactive programming on our 24/7 TV channel in the coming months to minister to peoples real daily needs in all areas of life. Tonight at 11pm EDT, the new 24 hour Liveprayer radio station on the Internet will be launched. The flagship program I will host every Monday thru Friday will be on "live" from 11pm-1am EDT and deal with all of the news of the day from a Biblical worldview. It will rely heavily on listeners to call in and share their views and opinions regarding the news of the day.. Initially, the rest of the time will be dedicated to playing different genres of Christian music from the old hymns to the Christian music of today, but soon we will be adding additional interactive programming to minister to and bless our listeners.

I am also excited to announce that before our 9 year anniversary at the end of August, we will have a new TV Show Archives page on our website. We are in the process of digitalizing every one of our TV programs since we started on March 3, 2003. There will be over 1400 hour-long TV programs that will be online and searchable by the topic of the program. This is a broadcast archive of unique content like nothing that exists anywhere in the world today, and will give people the ability to watch any of the powerful TV programs we have produced over these past 62 months.

So in a few months we will have the Daily Devotional going out daily to over 2.4 million subscribers. Our email infrastructure that currently handles over 40,000 emails for prayer daily and can be ramped up without much problem to handle 100,000 a day. We will have our "live" TV program 5 nights a week plus a 24/7 TV station that will be loaded with unique, live and interactive programming dealing with all areas of people's lives. We will have the 24/7 internet radio station with the flagship program airing live very Monday thru Friday from 11pm-1am, and the rest of the day programmed with great Christian music and informative, interactive programming. Also, we have our Daily Devotional archives with every Daily Devotional I have written since we started on 8/31/99, over 3,000 Devotionals in a database searchable by topic, keyword, or date. Coming soon will be the new TV Show archive with all of our TV programs, over 1400 of them, available for on-demand viewing and searchable by program topic.

All of this cutting edge use of the latest technology, powerful, live, unique content and programming literally 24/7, will continue to set us apart and keep us ministering to millions of people around the world each day while being able to personally minister to the needs of those people we reach who are hurting and looking for answers in their lives. With over 1.4 billion of the 6.7 billion people in the world on the Internet, this is by far the greatest technology man has ever had to bring the Truth of God's Word and the hope and love of Jesus Christ to the lost and hurting and win souls. Liveprayer helped to pioneer the Internet over these past 9 years, and is focused on remaining the leading website in the world to bring God's Truth and the hope of Christ to every person. It is for this moment in human history that God has raised us up, and we are here to answer His call!

I love you and care about you so much. Don't be fearful about the coming events in our nation and world, be challenged by them. They can't be a surprise since the Bible already told us what these last days would be like. God has blessed us to live in such a day as we do, and to be part of helping to bring in that last great harvest of souls. We know that as things begin to unwind, as God's wrath and judgment is unleashed, as the final events in human history begin to play out, the lost masses will be looking for answers and hope. There is only one answer and hope for this life and all eternity, Jesus Christ. We have the answer and hope the world is looking for, and now it is our job to bring it to them.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your love, prayers, and sacrificial support of His work here. You will never know what it means to me. I firmly believe that these last moths of 2008 will be a tumultuous time and we will see great change. I believe life as we know it could change dramatically in the final days of the year. The good news is that we have read the back of the book and know God wins. So we have nothing to fear. Our eternal home is secure and already prepared for us. All we have to do now is surrender everything we have to the Lord and faithfully run this race until He says our work is finished and calls us home or Jesus returns. Our souls are secure in Heaven, so let us make our lives count for Christ with every breath He blesses us with!!!
