Celebrating Six Years of Liveprayer, Six Years of God's Faithfulness
(Deuteronomy 7:9)
"Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His Covenant of Love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep His commands."
The message that I want to share with you on this day that we celebrate 6 years of Liveprayer is that GOD IS FAITHFUL! No matter what you may be going through in your life today, God is faithful. As I look back over these past 72 months, I see clearly the hand of God that was always there. I can assure you that there were many days I felt like God was not around, but that was simply a lie from satan. The Word promises us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. I am here to testify to you today that His promise is true!
The fact is, God was faithful even when I was not. Many times throughout these past 6 years I failed God, but God never failed me! I have been keeping a complete record of all that has happened at Liveprayer since day one. It is my plan to one day write a book about Liveprayer as a testimony to God's faithfulness. What I want you to understand today is that the Bible teaches us that God is "no respecter of persons." That simply means that the same God that has been faithful to Liveprayer these past 6 years, is the very same God that will be faithful to YOU!
Many people incorrectly call the Christian faith a blind leap in the dark. Nothing could be further from the truth. Our faith is based on the absolute truth of God's Word, written by God Himself and confirmed in the hearts and lives of men since the Garden of Eden. The more we put our faith in God, the more He will strengthen that faith. David didn't run blindly onto the battlefield to fight Goliath. He went out there confidently, knowing that God would lead him to victory. He told King Saul, "the LORD who delivered me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine."
I tell you today that the very same God who delivered you from the problem you had 3 years ago, the very same God that delivered you from the problem you had 2 years ago, the very same God that delivered you from the problem you had last year, the very same God that delivered you from the problem you had 6 months ago, the very same God that delivered you from the problem you had last week is the VERY SAME GOD THAT WILL DELIVER YOU TODAY! The more we put our faith and trust in God, the more he will increase and build up our faith in Him!
As we end our 6th year of ministry here at Liveprayer, I have so much to be thankful for. The Bible says that He will do "exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think." I could have NEVER imagined 6 years later over 2 million people worldwide would be receiving the Daily Devotional or that we would be sending personal responses to over 40,000 prayer requests every single day. I never would have dreamed that over these past 72 months, more than 110,000 people we know of would have accepted Christ as their Savior and that we would have an archive of over 1.6 million praise reports. I am so grateful how God is using Liveprayer literally 24/7/365 to reach the lost and hurting throughout this world with the hope and love of Jesus Christ.
Without a doubt my greatest joy each day has been watching God bring His people together through Liveprayer to make all that has happened these past 72 months in millions of lives worldwide possible. We have torn down the walls that have been erected to divide us, keeping us from being all that God has called us to be as His Body. Liveprayer has as many Baptists as Pentecostals, as many Catholics as Methodists. The Daily Devotional goes to men and women, rich and poor, of every color as young as 10 and as old as 95 in over 80 nations each morning. God has brought HIS PEOPLE together through Liveprayer to bring the truth of the Bible to the world!
I get asked all the time if I ever get tired. After 6-8 hours every day in the office overseeing Liveprayer.com for 6 years now in addition to having done 654 "live" TV programs over the past 2 1/2 years, the answer is yes. But amazingly God has given me the strenght and endurance to start each day completely refreshed, energized, and excited about watching Him work in people's lives. He has blessed me with a front row seat and I don't want to miss a second of the action! My strength each days comes from the email I receive telling me God has restored a marriage heading for divorce court. My strength each day comes from taking a call on the TV program and hearing the caller sobbing as they commit their heart and life to Christ right there on LIVE television.
My friend, I am not here to just exist but to make a difference for the Kingdom of God! There will be plenty of time to rest when my work here is finished. That is why YOU are so special to me since I never forget for a moment that without your love, your prayers, your sacrificial support, I couldn't do all that God has called me to do. Today I am so thankful for the faithfulness of God, but I am also thankful for YOUR faithfulness! It inspires me and motivates me each day to give everything I have in serving the Lord.
In looking forward to this next year I am SO excited. We have two main projects that we are working on. The first is the completion of "The 300" which will allow us to insure the future of the Liveprayer TV program that after being on in all of our new markets for a year, we will be able to attract a large national sponsor so the program can be syndicated all over the nation. At that point, we won't have to support the program ourselves, but it will be paid for by corporate money. If local churches can raise tens of millions for a building to house a few thousand in a local community, surely we can raise the last $2 million of the $3 million we are raising to take the Gospel to the hurting and lost that will never step foot inside those beautiful buildings. In all honesty, I could never ask you to send money for a building, but I will not stop asking you to help me save souls! I am not interested in building buildings that will one day be gone, but in building men and women of God who will stand for all eternity!
To that end, we still need 9 units by the end of this week to cover our October budget that has to be paid in advance. Even though I have NO CLUE as I type these words where that $90,000 is coming from, I have a perfect peace because I know God does! There is one person specifically God is speaking to this moment about taking all 9 units, many more who God is speaking to about the 14 units we will need by the end of September. All I can ask you to do is be obedient and respond to His voice. Those God is calling to help me need to step-up and respond. Email me today at: bkeller@liveprayer.com to let me know you will help. Also, for those who are being led to help my by sharing the incredible out reach of Liveprayer with those who have the resources to help, you can find all the details on that at www.liveprayer.com/1k.htm .
The second project we are working hard at completing by Thanksgiving is the Liveprayer Daily Devotional book. It will be a unique book of most of the past Daily Devotionals by category. We will be doing an initial printing of 200,000 and making the book available for FREE at large retail bookstores like Borders and Barnes and Noble. I am excited that this is becoming a reality because I know this book will be around long after I am in Glory. Please be praying with me that God will use it as an instrument to lead people worldwide into an everlasting relationship with our Lord.
I love you and care about you so much. Even though I tell you that each day, I want you to know I mean it each day. You have no idea how your love, your prayers, and your sacrificial support of God's work here at Liveprayer has sustained me these past 6 years. When I was down, you sent me a note of encouragement. When I was wondering if we could even make it through the month, God prompted you to give and you were obedient. Many have sacrificed greatly to support this work and are storing up rewards in Heaven for their obedience. It is my prayer that we will get a chance to meet each other one of these days so I can give you a big hug. But if not, there will be a great Liveprayer reunion in Glory. There are already many of our brothers and sisters who were part of Liveprayer that have completed their work here and are waiting for us.
Let me leave you today with the greatest lesson I have learned from God over these past 72 months. Be obedient and faithful to what God has called you to do with your life. The only thing God expects from us is our obedience and faithfulness. I can guarantee you there have been many days that I did not feel like coming to the office, did not feel like answering someone's email, did not feel like writing the Devotional. There were days when we had technical problems, financial problems, huge issues that were our of my control. God reminded me to be obedient and faithful in what I had control over and leave the rest to Him. God does not expect you to do things you can't do, only be obedient and faithful in the things you can do!
In closing, I want you to know that I pray for you every day. I pray for God's richest blessings on you and your family as you faithfully serve and follow our Lord. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with me these past 6 years. Should Jesus tarry, may the Lord continue to abundantly bless the work of Liveprayer each day as we share the truth of God's Word and the hope and love of Jesus Christ with this lost and hurting world. GOD IS FAITHFUL!
