Jesus Loves You

(John 15:9)

After close to 31 months and over 900 Devotionals, today is perhaps the most simple, yet profound, word that I have ever shared with you. It is so simple, that we take it for granted. It is so simple we rarely think about it. Yet this is the most important truth that I can ever share with you.

JESUS LOVES YOU!

The reason it is important is because these are not just mere words. No, my friend. These words were backed up over 2000 years ago when Christ PROVED that He loves you by readily giving His life as a sacrifice for YOUR sins. The Bible tells us that "greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." He gave His life to insure that you would have a chance to have your sins forgiven and be eternally with God your Creator!

Another way that Jesus proves His love for you is by His promise to never leave you or forsake you. When we go through the storms of life, often we may feel alone. Friends may abandon you. Family may abandon you. Your church may abandon you. But Jesus said He would NEVER abandon you! You can always count on Him to stand with you through those trials and tribulations that you will face during this life. Never forget, no matter how alone you may feel sometimes, Jesus loves you so much that He will be with you no matter what!

Not only does Jesus love you, but Jesus loves you UNCONDITIONALLY! This means that you can be sure that no matter what you have done, are doing, or will do, Jesus loves you.

THERE IS NOTHING THAT YOU CAN DO TO MAKE JESUS STOP LOVING YOU!

Is He disappointed with how you act at times? Yes. Is He hurt by some of the choices that you make? Yes. But there is NOTHING that you can ever do to stop Jesus from loving you. He loves you unconditionally!

I love you and care about you so much. But as much love as God has given me for you, I can't die for your sins, only Jesus can. I will try to always be here for you no matter what, but only Jesus can promise to NEVER leave you. I love you with all of the capacity to love God has given me, but only Jesus can love you without any condition no matter what. So I will continue to do my best to love and care for you each day, but I pray today that you realize the greatest truth of all,

JESUS LOVES YOU!!!
