Battling for Souls

(Mark 8:36)

Over these past 28-plus months, I have at times shared with you the vision God has given me for Liveprayer.com. The words of encouragement I try to help you focus on each day in your personal life is that no matter what you may be facing, no matter what man may be telling you, never forget that God will ALWAYS have the last word. That is the bottom line to the Bible. God has the last word! The enemy is the great perverted. He takes the good and perfect things of God and perverts them. God created sex, yet the enemy has given us a perversion of God's perfection. God has given us resources to live our life with, but the enemy has perverted our way of looking at what God has blessed us with. The enemy will always find ways to pervert things to destroy the souls of people.

This has been true of technology as well. I remember in the late 70's when video tapes first came out. The very first widespread use of this new technology was pornographic videos. Now videotapes are part of our daily life, and there are incredible testimonies of how Christian tapes have brought many to Christ. The very first use of this new technology we know as the Internet was largely by the pornographic industry. They did a masterful job at utilizing this new technology to propagate their garbage, that has literally destroyed many lives in the process. Even as of this day the number one websites in terms of use, the number one sites in regards to real profits, are pornographic in nature. While many see this as free speech and choice, the fact is, it is a war for souls!

When the Lord called me to this work, He clearly showed me that this was going to be an aggressive, all-out assault for the eternal souls of people. While many Christians were getting on the Internet and thousands of Christian websites were popping up, the fact was they were mostly passive, static, and not a threat to the destruction of human lives that was happening around them. It was like a war was taking place globally, the enemy was everywhere you turned, and the only way you could find help was if you just happened to stumble across tiny safety zones that were few and far between. Your odds at getting destroyed were 1000 times greater than at getting saved. But as I said earlier, God will ALWAYS have the last word in every situation, including the Internet.

Over 28 months ago, Liveprayer.com signed on as an instrument God was going to use to take back the Internet. Did that mean one day there would be no more porn or garbage on the Internet? Of course not. But it did mean no longer would this war go on without a real fight. God was no longer going to sit back and watch human souls lost for eternity. Men, women, children, and families destroyed without a fight. God's army was going to fight a bold, aggressive counterattack for the souls of people. We have led this charge not only with the only 24/7/365 LIVE video/audio prayer feed on the Internet, but in our active Christian chat room, the Daily Devotional going to over 900,000 readers worldwide each day, and our ministry team that sends a personal response to over 15,000 emails for prayer we receive each day. The bible says you know a tree by the fruit it bears. In 28 months, we know of at least 8,000 souls that have accepted Christ as their Savior, we have praise reports and testimonies from tens of thousands who have had marriages restored, physical healings, financial miracles, and answers to every kind of prayer request you can imagine. God is moving in the lives of people in powerful and dramatic ways.

NOW IS THE TIME FOR ACTION, AND THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A BETTER INSTRUMENT THAN THE INTERNET TO BRING THE GOSPEL TO PEOPLE WORLDWIDE!!!

I love you and care about you very much. Thank you for standing with me in this battle we are waging for the souls of people. As I come to the front lines here each day, I am encouraged by your love, prayers, and support. It means more than you will ever know. Do not take this word today lightly. IT IS A WAR FOR SOULS IN WHICH WE ARE ENGAGED IN. Unlike many wars where the outcome is in doubt, we can fight boldly, courageously, and with incredible confidence because we know in the end GOD WINS!!! That is why I can ask you to stand with me and support this effort with no hesitation. I know what we are fighting for, the souls of real people, and I know that in the end we will win. Together we can make a difference and help people destined to eternal separation from their Creator find the unconditional love and everlasting life God has promised to all those who will put their faith in Him!
