Spiritual Warfare - Part III

(Ephesians 6:18-20)

***MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT, WHAT IS HAPPENING IN OUR NATION, IS A SPIRITUAL BATTLE. DID YOU EVER WONDER WHY THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION LAST DECEMBER WAS LIKE NO OTHER IN OUR NATION'S HISTORY? GOD KNEW WHAT THE UNITED STATES WOULD BE FACING, AND GOD KNEW THE LEADERS WE WOULD NEED TO SEE US THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT TIME. PLEASE PRAY FOR PRESIDENT BUSH AND ALL OF OUR LEADERS. WE ARE NO LONGER REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT, BUT WE ARE ALL AMERICANS. GOD BLESS OUR NATION AS WE ENGAGE NOT ONLY IN PHYSICAL WARFARE, BUT SPIRITUAL WARFARE!

Winning!!! In any war, the objective is to win. In a spiritual war, the key to winning is prayer. Sound easy? Want to tell me you have been, but it doesn't work? Maybe God has been answering but you aren't listening. In the battle for Jericho, how do you think the great military minds felt about the battle plan of walking around the city blowing trumpets? Sounds like great military strategy doesn't it? But it was God's plan and it worked!!! The point I am making is you are praying about a situation, and in your mind you have figured out how God is supposed to answer. Maybe God wants to do it another way, maybe He has His own strategy that isn't exactly like yours. Do you want victory? Or do you just want victory your way? Praying involves turning it over to God and letting Him fight the battle, and it also means letting Him win the battle in His own way. Why? So He gets the glory!!!

Part one of this series talked about the attacks of the enemy and that our battle is a spiritual battle. Part two dealt with the whole armor of God, both for defensive and offensive purposes. Today is about winning. After all, the Bible tells us we are more than conquerors. We are children of the King. We have a royal inheritance. If you know Jesus as your Savior, you no longer have to worry about where you will spend eternity. You can go through this life with full confidence and with no fear, working for God in confidence that in the end...YOU WIN!!! I want you to go forward today realizing that fact. Whatever the battle in your life may be, start living in the victory Christ won on Calvary 2000 years ago. Do not be denied and do not be discouraged. As you pray, God will put His plan in effect that will give you the victory, no matter how crazy it may seem to you!

I love you all so much. I thank God each day for the opportunity He has given me to minister through this incredible medium known as the Internet to touch so many lives. I am asking you to keep me and Liveprayer.com in your prayers as we see victory in the battles we are fighting. When I get an email from a 14-year-old girl who is pregnant, doesn't know where to turn, and turns to this ministry, I am humbled. I am thankful that we were here, and that is only because of your obedience and faithfulness.

I am praying for each of you today to live the victorious lives that we should be living as Christians. God has shown us who our enemy is. He has provided the equipment to fight with, and most important, has guaranteed us the victory. With that knowledge, there is no battle you are fighting today that should cause you any fear. Pray and let God lead you to victory. Never forget that "greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world"!!!
