The Harvest
(John 4:35)
The harvest. As an evangelist, my motivation for my life in full-time ministry has been to see people come to Christ. I started out the first 3 years in a very traditional way, doing evangelistic crusades in churches. Then the Lord led me into the Christian broadcasting world, which has been exciting because we are able to reach so many more people at one time. Then the Internet, in my mind, the greatest evangelistic tool ever created. It will never take the place of fellowship and service to people in a personal manner, but can be a great tool to touch lives, minister to people, and ATTRACT THE LOST TO CHRIST. That is my passion, and the reason God has been so merciful to me over the years. I live to see souls won to Christ and the Internet is the most powerful tool to reach the lost that man has ever known.
The challenge Jesus gave to me and to you was to be busy sharing His love with the hurting and lost of the world. Let me challenge you to never be comfortable or complacent in your service to Him. Apathy is what has got the church in problems over the years. You can read in Revelation about the "lukewarm" church. Don't ever let the fire die or the motivation to cool. Jesus is coming very soon, and now is the time for God's children to bring in the harvest. Thank you for standing with me and your efforts in making Liveprayer an instrument the Lord is using in these last days.
