Bearing Other's Burdens

(Galatians 6:2)

Bearing the burdens of others. I never forget each day when I wake up that my number one job that day is to help others. Serving God each day is not only my purpose for being, but yours as well. We serve God when we serve others. So many of you are kind when you write me and apologize for taking my time with your request. Listen, God has placed me in your life to be here for you in those times of need. Don't ever apologize. For this season of my life, this is how God is using me. None of us can do it alone. None of us is immune to life's problems and tragedies. We all hit those places where we need the love, support, and prayers of those in the body of Christ to make it through the valley.

God never intended for us to go through this journey alone. He created the church as a fellowship of believers to be our support system for this life. That is why the church is so critical to our spiritual journey. He has placed Christian friends, teachers, and singers in our life to help us not only grow in our knowledge of Him, but to bless us and help us through this journey we are on. I want to encourage you today to take advantage of the people and resources the Lord has placed in your life. They are there for a reason. This devotional and Liveprayer.com are not accidents that just "happened". God has strategically placed these resources in your life to help you along the way.

I love you and really do care about you. It is a love and caring that stems from my relationship with the Lord who loved me and cared about me enough to not only die for my sins, but give me an opportunity to serve Him after I turned my back on His call several times. You see, I can't turn my back any more on what God has called me to do with my life. One of the things He has called me to do is to be here for you when you need someone to listen to you, someone to pray for you, someone to share your pain and burdens. Never forget that when you are hurting, when you need someone to lean on, you can email me and I will do everything I can to help. You are not alone.

My prayers are with you today as we meditate on how God loves us. He really did think of everything. He helps us at times when we don't even realize it. Always know I am here for you, ready to bear your burdens, because that is the Lord's will for my life.
